The folks there are so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. There is one very special person who works in the IRA Management area, named Rachel that has been especially wonderful. When I need help with any financial matter, Rachel has been the go-to person. I always remember that the difference between a traditional Bank and a Credit Union is that banks have to make a profit for the shareholders, BUT in a Credit Union the members of a Credit Union ARE the shareholders! The main focus of a Credit Union is Service, NOT profit. WowWee....that's why ECU is really great.

Helping a relative pay her ECU credit card online (instead of mailing paper) became a time-waster…read more There's a $1500 daily limit on transactions INCLUDING paying off a credit card. Any amount over that, the customer has to come back a different day. First chat/call, rep insisted the $1500 limit was from the paying account & not from ECU. So had to call that institution & they told us no, it was on ECU end. Called ECU back & finally got them to admit the $1500 limit was on their end. Asked them to change it... no, they wouldn't change it. 'Why can't you just do it across multiple days?' Another issue. I have POA on the ECU accounts but they could not provide me with a separate login for the account. So I don't have access when they prompt me for 2FA. I had an account with them in the past but moved it when they messed up. Had to file with the IRS (recharacterize tax year) to get the problem corrected. Go elsewhere.
