Like all Educators Credit Union Branches, this one is filled with friendly competent workers who don't charge you an extra fee for talking to them. This one is larger and nicer than the other branches and is attached to a used car sales operation so you can get your car loan then walk over and shop. This used to be a wonderful 5 star branch. It is beautiful and in a great location. Now, however, it is 1 star. Why? They close too early. 6pm Monday-Thursday, 7pm Fridays, and 3pm Saturdays. Way too early. There is no reason they can't be open until 8 or 9pm weekdays now that it's all ITMs (which I hate) instead of face to face humans. Speaking of ITMs, I hate them so much. There's always a wait, you never know who you'll get, and they are slooooow. If they installed ITMs so they could have extended hours at those branches, I'd deal with all the drawbacks. Finally, their ATM technology is ancient. ECU needs to get ATMs like Chase has - and if they did so, then their hours wouldn't even matter. At Chase ATMs, you can DEPOSIT checks and cash, not just withdraw cash. I rarely use cash so I hardly ever need to withdraw it, but always need to deposit cash. I would actually be shocked if the ITMs didn't have "virtual" teller software that could accept deposits 24/7, which would make them very useful. But as long as ECU keeps using ITMs the way they do currently, they have more cons than pros. So, Linda if you happen to read this, you can get back to a 5 star review if you get better ATMs and/or make the ITMs useful and/OR extend branch hours. You really only need to do one of those things to meet my needs and, given the huge volume of night deposits this branch gets, clearly my needs are not unique. (You also need to open a branch in southern Racine - like Durand and Ohio or Green Bay - and Waterford!) Unfortunately ECU keeps making changes that are pushing me to take my business elsewhere so hopefully that course will be reversed before it's too late since I really don't want to leave, but there are plenty of financial institutions that will better meet my banking needs so time is running out for ECU. read more
