    -I am beyond blown away by the amount of negative reviews I see here on Yelp. I honestly don't even…read morehave the words... It does not seem possible... -I have been banking with Trustone for a number of years, eight for certain, possibly longer. The first time I stepped foot into one of their branches (Maple Grove), and every single time since, it is the same process, WITHOUT FAIL. There has not been a single time I have visited a Trustone and witnessed or experienced different operations. -The standard operation? Greeted instantly, without hesitation, unless of course it happens to be during a peak hour, in which somewhat of a delayed greeting would be expected. A professional and friendly hello, followed by an invite to the teller counter, or your name and needs are documented for the first available personal banker. In all of my experience, at that point, should there be a wait, a clean and comfortable couch or oversized chair is offered in a clean and welcoming waiting area. I have never been displeased with wait time (or cleanliness for that matter... and I have owned & operated a residential & commercial cleaning company for nearly 15 years). I'm a rather inpatient person... There are few things I despise more than waiting- ESPECIALLY when I am doing business somewhere. I sometimes have expectations in which might make me appear to have an entitled attitude, embarrassingly enough! My point is- the wait to see a personal banker is usually only a matter of minutes. -I have utilized a number of Trustone locations, all are great, but I do prefer to frequent one in particular and that is the Maple Grove branch. I consider this my "Home" store seeing as it is where all (nine I believe?) of my accounts were established. -What grown adult uses derogatory language while name calling when leaving a professional business a professional review? Are these credible reviews? I understand there are certainly times in which mistakes happen, of course. I have spent my entire life working in some sort of service industry, I feel rather justified in saying that most customers/clients are quick to complain about the smallest issue, but few are willing to take the time to note a positive experience. I make it a point to verbally express my appreciation for service more than filing complaints or posting negative reviews. And in some cases, I spend a good amount of time publicly announcing my gratitude for outstanding and unparalleled service. Yikes! Back on topic-sorry! -Carla, Carla, Carla! My goodness, I tell you, this woman ceases to amaze me! I, like anyone, need loans and lines of credit... checking and savings accounts... life insurance and bonds... And yes, I have all of these accounts with Trustone! There have been a number of times I feel I need a bit of financial guidance-establishing short and long term financial goals. -Honestly, it was one of those "When it rains, it pours" moments in time. I tried to remember the last time I was feeling financially secure, knowledgeable, stable, protected, focused, supported, confident, organized...and financially on track. One major life change can complicate things enough, but multiple items, for example- divorce, unrelated to divorce attorney needs, selling the family home, buying a new home, emergency spinal surgery followed by an additional planned spinal surgery, uplifting and relocating children, vehicle repairs, residence relocation for a special needs family member.. Just to name a few!! The last time I had zero financial worries was the last time I walked out of Carla's office. Who needs a personal banker? Surely those are only sought out by someone much wealthier than I? I had no idea what I had missed out on my entire adult life until the day I stepped into Carla's office. Gah, it brings tears to my eyes, it is so apparent she loves what she does. This is undeniable, her genuine smile, gestures and inquiries tell you so. -Carla is genuine, kind, attentive, mindful, supportive, encouraging, sympathetic, reassuring... and she's not only all of those things, she's resourceful and crazy knowledgeable about what Trustone can provide for each and every milestone or life change that comes at you-planned or unexpected. -There isn't a chance anyone who has had the pleasure of working with Carla could, or would say different. Unless, of course, they simply added to all of the amazing qualities I've already whole heartedly listed, right here, in this novel of a review. Don't take my word for it, though.... You certainly need to see for yourself. I promise you won't regret it, and you will never want to seek out another banker again. Gratefully and Respectfully, C.Evers Prior Lake, MN

    Terrible customer service. I have paid my car loan every month. Three weeks prior the payment being…read moredue and paying basically double on the loan to pay it off early. I get a notice in the mail saying my payment is late. Excuse me! How the f is my payment late when I basically pay double every month and have been paying it three weeks before it's due. Plus I am paid up almost 2.5 yrs on the loan. If your people actually looked at the date the loan was taken out, the amount left on it, and when the loan matures they would see I am not behind on payments. I only owe $2k and the loan is not due to mature/be paid off for another 2.5 yrs. Your math ain't nothing! So it's my fault you applied the last five payments incorrectly. BS. I made you back them out to fix them, remove the additional interest, remove the late fee. Because of this I paid the loan off right that moment. This better not have affected my perfect credit as NO ONE I MEAN NO ONE F's with my credit. Trust me I will be checking and if it has you will fix it after your third ass chewing. I have been through hell and back, lived through hard times, sacrificed to make sure my bills have always been paid on time before I ate to keep my credit good. I can get a loan anywhere if I need one! I do not recommend this credit union at all. I have had now three terrible interactions there. I'd give a negative ten instead of a one star if I could!
