After owning and driving my 2013 Ford pickup for 8 yrs , my sunroof broke. I called a few places to see if they repaired sunroofs. Some Dealer repair shops said they would look and see if they could repair it but they would charge me a $200 "diagnostic" fee and if they could repair it, it would cost me an additional up to $3000 to repair it. I called around to find a better deal and was about to give up and bring it to a Dealer when I contacted a friend who advised me to call "John's Sunroof." On Tuesday, I called and talked with Darrell Martinez, the owner of this business, John's Sunroofs". Darrell was very professional and friendly and when I described my sunroof problem, Darrell told me he had the parts in stock and If could bring my truck in at noon on Thursday, he could fix the sunroof problem and I would be able to pick up my truck in about 3 hrs. Darrell also quoted me a price of $900, parts and labor. I dropped off my vehicle at noon and Darrell called me at 1pm saying he fixed my window and that it was fully operational and has a 1 yr warranty. I picked up my truck and tested my window, even at a car wash. Everything worked fine and the job was professionally done. Call 4 times to talk to someone about getting an sunroof fixed. They ask for all my information and never returned my call. Spoke with 2 employees. They said they could not help because the owner has it all in his email and took the day off. That's after I talked to him 3 times. The employee also said that the person would call me back the next day. That did not happen and it's been over a week and still no call back or follow up. read more

I have an after-market electric sunroof which needs to be replaced. I went to John's Sunroofs and learned that the company that manufactured my sunroof was out-of-business. They were able to show me another company's after-market sunroof on the owner's own vehicle and supposedly order me one, estimating the job would cost around $1500. So I noticed as I was leaving that they "restore" plastic headlight lenses. The lenses on my wife's Subaru really needed it. So I went back the next day and wow! What a difference! About 1/3 the price of original replacement lenses. It took about an hour and a half. If you read about doing this the proper way is to sand with finer and finer degrees of sand paper and then you have to finish with a UV protectant or the sanding will simply speed up the yellowing. These guys sand (instead of buff) and have a 2 part epoxy they apply and let dry to give it a UV shield. It's amazing how different the lenses look. read more

Go here!!! My sunroof got shattered in a hail storm. I was dealing with safelite at first because I heard they are good to go to and I had the complete opposite experience. They gave me the runaround for over a month, asking me the same questions over and over again that the ppl I spoke with before said they would take care of. I eventually went to a safelite to get to the bottom of it and they told me they aren't the best for sunroofs. Wish I knew that the whole month I was dealing with them! I googled and found Johns Sunroof. They got great reviews! I called them and told them my whole story. First of all the price they quoted me was about $500 less then what safelite would have charged me. They told me they can get my sunroof glass in in a couple days. A couple days later they called me telling me it's in, I scheduled it for the next day, they put the glass in, cleaned everything out in about 30 mins. My sunroof looks and works like new!!! I called late on a Friday afternoon to set up an appointment. Even though they were on the verge of closing, they put me on the calendar for Monday morning, a nice surprise.
