My experiences with Fix Auto have all been really good, and yes I did say experiences. Starting with their front office they were all very courteous, knowledgeable and more then willing to help. Then dealing with the department who provides all of the quotes. They were open and honest about the process, how it works, and what to expect. They were great working with our insurance company. Once they had the quotes complete and everything worked out with the insurance company they handled everything from there and communicated with us very well. My experience with Fix Auto was extremely disappointing. I was told my car would be repaired in 6-8 weeks; instead, it took 100 days to fix relatively minor front-end damage. The main delays came from Fix Auto refusing to follow the approved insurance process and constantly trying to change the repair plan after the fact to get more money. Valerie, who handled much of the communication, acted like a conman -- misleading about timelines, billing, and refusing to follow proper procedures. Sean was kind but was either unwilling or unable to meet the insurance company's basic requirements, further delaying everything. After 80 days, they offered a rental car but only covered three days, even though they held my finished car hostage for another 20 days while fighting the insurance company. Without my permission, they told the rental company to bill me directly. A full week was also lost because staff couldn't even operate their voicemail while someone was on vacation. Fix Auto's endless excuses, refusal to honor agreements, bad-mouthing of the insurance company (which they claimed to partner with), and their questionable ethics made this one of the worst repair experiences I have ever had. I would never recommend Fix Auto to anyone. read more

Highly recommended. Hit a deer on the highway, resulting in a hood that would not close (had to ziptie/paracord it down) and significant damage to other front components. Don't even think about calling this company for vehicle damage. They are not able to handle the business and fail to communicate this when you call. I was placed on a list of what I was told was 50, I called 15 days later for an update and was told they had only processed 2 people from the list. Really!!! So at that rate, maybe touch base with me July of 2024. I was even more disappointed when I spoke to Tracy, someone that apparently is management and was informed that they had no idea when they can look at hail damage because they are "inundated with repairs", OK, CRAZY IDEA, MAYBE INFORM PEOPLE OF THAT SITUATION WHEN THEY CALL YOUR BUSINESS , INSTEAD OF PLACING THEM ON SOME LIMBO LIST. I had the best experience at Fix Auto today. A staff person met me in the parking lot before I entered the building and started assessing the problem. The expert technician evaluated and repaired my car efficiently. My particular issue did not require any new parts and the job was completed on the same day. The facility and work bays were clean. Every person I spoke with was friendly. Extra kudos to Dan who summarized the evaluation and showed me how the repair was made. Waited over 2 weeks for an estimate to find out that the at fault party's insurance company had re-scheduled for a month out from claim date... and then Fix Auto cancels both appointments!!! This after not returning numerous phone calls and multiple emails. Terrible communications and customer support. This Fix Auto only wants to deal with big Insurance companies and Dealerships. Tracy was always answered the phone and answered all my questions with a smile on her face. She stayed on the phone with my insurance company for an hour and half, and was always so eager and happy to help. Joey helped me with my car. He was super friendly and funny!!! They're scamming middlemen. Held my car for two weeks, said the cost was originally 1900 so my insurance approved the amount for my 500 deductible. Than they said they needed a supplement charge. For 1942!! Somehow my insurance still approved the supplement charge. Yet fix auto said I needed to pay for the 1942 out of pocket but they would still be getting the check for what the insurance would cover. They're a bunch of con men so avoid them at all costs. read more

Super happy with these guys. They were all really nice, and made everything easy, and delivered on the day they promised. My car was hit by an F250 with a tow hitch, and now after Fix Auto, it looks brand new. This is also the first time I've had body/paint work done on a car and haven't had to send it back to get something corrected. Our Lexus front bumper had an argument with a landscape rock and the undercowl broke loose. I went to Fix Collision cold and they came out and took a look. The front desk lady asked Bob, a repairman, to have a look. I was just looking to get an estimate and schedule a repair. It was a minor deal but little things escalate into big deals if unattended. Bob said give me the keys, I have an idea. He came back and said you are good to go. He repaired the irritation in under 5 minutes no charge!! Had a very unfortunate experience with Fix Auto. Went to them to perform very minor bumper damage repair to my Jeep Grand Cherokee. While they were repairing the bumper, they needed to access wiring harnesses to the vehicle controls. I paid my $1,000 deductible. After I picked up my Jeep, my driver side controls no longer worked. Can't adjust my mirror, windows, door locks, etc. Fix claimed no responsibility and claimed that the issue was a component failure and was not caused by their repair work. Everything worked fine when I dropped my Jeep off. No electrical issues at all... I now have to go to a dealership and pay out of pocket to get the controls repaired!! Dan Stander is the man. Long story short, my car was in a pretty bad collision and was previously repaired by another body shop, which did a pretty shoddy job. After much back and forth with my insurance, the car ended up at Fix Auto for more repair work to get it done properly. Dan Stander's attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile was incredible. He really inspired confidence in me and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with everything. When I got the car back it looked immaculate and they had even folded my blankets neatly in a box... just one of many details that made me think they are paying very close attention to the vehicle. This was a complex repair job that got kind of slipped through the repair process before it reached Fix Auto.. Dan helped me deal with the previous body shop, the dealership, and my insurance to ensure that the repair was done completely and properly and that extraneous expenses like my rental was taken care of, totally above and beyond the call of duty. Dan even took the time to show me around his shop and explain in great detail every aspect of the work they did on my vehicle to educate me and help me understand what was going on with the repair process. I had to bring my car back as soon as I picked it up as a warning light needed to be reset and they forgot. Then a few weeks later the liner under the wheel wells and bumper wasn't connected properly and was impeding the wheels. Now a few months later I notice the new hood they replaced is hanging over like an over bite...and both headlights are not true Honda parts...and one of them isn't set right so there is a gap. I need to go back in for a third time and likely not have a car for a while. They were very nice, but I would never bring my cars there again for poor workmanship. read more

GREAT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. Believe it or not, Dan and his team didn't even end up doing work on my car because they knew it wasn't best for me. Here's what happened. My wife and I were driving across the country from California to Ohio and we blew out what we thought was the radiator at the time while heading into Denver. My car ended up at Fix Auto about an hour after closing time and Dan was still there. Rather than pushing us off to the next day he was extremely helpful. He offered my wife, who is 7 months pregnant, ware and soda and a place to sit while he spent time looking at the car with me and discussing the issues. He took pictures and looked at the car and got it into the shop on a lift that night. First thing the next morning he called to give me an update. They discovered it was actually the water pump and he spent the rest of the morning doing research on cost of getting it done and timetable. I am heading to Ohio to be the best man in a wedding and had to have the car ASAP. Dan went above and beyond to find out that many other people with my car had the same issue and it would be covered by warranty at a dealership nearby. Dan helped us get the car there via tow truck and helped get me set up with the part I needed. When my car arrived at the shop I noticed Dan and his guys had cleaned the engine surfaces and had removed all of the bugs that had implanted in the front of my car from 14+ hours of driving. I was recently in a minor accident and needed to take my car in for repairs to body damage. I happen to work near Fix Auto, so I decided to take my car there out of convenience. Holy Smokes!!!! These guys are awesome!!!. Robin was the first person I encountered when I went there and she was very nice explaining what I needed to do to expedite the insurance claim, she also emailed me the quote, confirmed the appointment and explained the rental car process. What used to a business of impeccable work and service, apparently my man over there Dan, wasn't available or in the office this week, so some pushy guy named Melvin answered the phone insisting that I have an appointment, to which I asked when? and instead of offering a time he insisted that I ALSO have an insurance company named for the quote, I actually don't have that info yet, as the person who hit us is likely to pay, but we have a case going on, so currently I can't name the insurance company that will take responsibility. Sorry for Melvin he had to keep pushing at us and denying an appointment for a quote based on that. Fix Auto exceeded my expectations! Dealing with the insurance company is never fun. They were on top of my car rental company when they did not show up as expected. When my car was ready they cleaned inside and out. They even cleaned the headlights! I just noticed that yesterday as I was thinking I should try the toothpaste thing again (didn't work the first time, haha) and saw how clear they were. They also sealed my windshield that I had just been duct taping. None of these things were on my estimate so imagine my delight when nothing changed on said estimate come time to pay.
