After a long car ride we came to Johnny's for an early dinner, this is our sons favorite pizza joint. The staff were friendly and the food was prepared quickly. I can see why this is a kids favorite pizza place, the food tasted pretty bland to me and the cheese sauce reminded me of the kind you get at stadiums for nachos with just added jalapeño juice. I liked the cheese sticks more than the bread sticks. The pizza is thin and even with that I felt it tasted more bread than sauce or meat. The food is just okay, nothing to rave about but better than a little Cesar's. read more

Pizza is very mediocre. Sorry to busy everyone's bubble! It's just ok. Service was ok. Pizza was ok. It's edible. I'd rather papa johns. Lots of people told me to eat here and we got the basic pepperoni and sausage and some bread sticks. Best thing about the meal was my liter of Diet Coke. read more

The service is terrible. I understand it's minimum wage but the person at the register should be somewhat competent or even knowledgeable about what's on the menu. They always seem to not get the order right and it's never ready in the estimated time they say. Very unorganized. Never seen any management or someone over the age of high school working in there. For the price you pay - much higher than dominoes or papa John's the pizza isn't very good. read more

north 18th, west Monroe la 71201 The pizza is best when you eat it in the restaurant. It's either over cooked or undercooked when you pick up or have it delivered. Overall this seems to be the best johnnies in town. My only complaint is that I don't drink soft drinks, and every time I come here either at lunch or dinner, the tea is fermented/spoiled. We ask them if they can make fresh tea but we heard the manager tell the worker not to. I paid for a drink and They're so cheap they can't make another tea. It's frustrating. read more

This place is a staple in our community. All of the schools around host fundraisers there once or twice a year and they literally always work out. Their pizzas rival that of the international chains that are always talked about. Johnny's vs. Dominos is always a heated discussion that people enjoy getting into. I very early discovered that Canadian bacon and bacon pizza is a delight and every time I'm feeling down it is my go to choice for a feel good food. It is fried perfectly and the toppings are well spread. Overall it truly is my favorite pizza place of anywhere I've been. read more

We showed up with a group of 8 around 9:30PM. Both of the doors were locked. This establishment closes at 11PM, so we were a little confused. Finally a CUSTOMER let us in. The employees told them they were locking 1 door for "safety purposes" but really locked both. As we were walking in, we were greeted with surprised faces. The manager on duty asked the cashier, "I thought you locked the doors. Why are they in here?" The cashier said, "I did. I guess that family let them in." This conversation happened around the closed down salad bar before the cashier stomped behind the counter to take our orders. The cashier was very rude and kept rolling her eyes and sighing as we ordered. The first pizza she brought, was thrown across our table. We politely called her out on her attitude and she was more pleasant the rest of the night. However, the doors were locked again after a family entered a few minutes behind us. We brought in $150 worth of business tonight that this establishment would have missed out on if that family had not let us in. We will not be back to this location. read more

Good pizza you expect from Johnnys but awful service. All doors were locked at 9:23 when we arrived, even though website says 11. Another diner let us in and management as well as cashier let us know we were not welcome by talking loudly about us while we were getting ready to order and they talked about us again to customers that came in afterwards...to everyone coming in they kept making comments about how the doors were locked....not that the business was closed. After we and another group came in the doors were locked again at 9:34....and subsequently every single time a customer left. They also had already broken down the salad bar so a family coming in after us had to crouch around a food service cart and make their salads. There isnt a whole lot to do in our area, so we wanted to go eat and hang out, but the cashier was rude and made it apparent that we were an inconvenience to the closing the FoH and would come just stare in our direction every 8 or so minutes after we recieved our order without addressing us. From now on I'll make sure to drive into Monroe for my pizza. read more
