We've heard of Revival Pizza from an area Food Critic, and wanted to try it ourself. Our server took our drink orders swiftly, and gave us a minute to decide from the overflowing menu. The decor is truly unique, someone put some time and thought in to bringing everything in to visul order. The Authentic Wood Fire Oven can not be overlooked. It's a rarity in these parts. Notice the operation of the oven on our pictures, as the flames and temperatures are adjusted. The Pizza prep area is open for viewing and it was interesting to see our pie maker preparing our pie dough for the oven. We ordered and shared a 14" Chicken, Bacon, and Ranch Pizza. The water tastes really bad..they need a reverse osmosis system. They barely put any toppings on the Philly pizza we ordered. The vibe & atmosphere of the place is REALLY COOL! Service was great! If they could have higher quality water & pizza, then it would be amazing! read more

Went on a Wed. night, not very busy. Had a salad to start, hubby had the really good bread sticks. Ordered a standard pepperoni pizza to try, since this was our 1st time there. And it was excellent! Came in on Wednesday afternoon they weren't very busy , ordered a Philly pizza with jalapeno and some hot wings. Very good pizza the crust was perfect, so good that I ate a piece cold the next day I'll definitely come back. Our server was also very nice. read more

We visited this establishment last night. The pizza was good, but it was very pricey. I was fine with the prices we paid, but in the end they charged me 4% for paying with a card. I would have given them a 4 star, but due to the 4% charge I dropped it down to 1 star. These fees should be built into the food price on the menu. I am not visiting restaurants that tack on this extra fee. They will lose my business. I hope others will quit visiting restaurants that use these hidden fees. read more

Good food and great atmosphere but pricey. The pizza was actually better than i expected but it was $30 for a pizza, small appetizer and 2 sweet teas. That's the only complaint I have and it's not even a big one. The atmosphere and amazing service made up for it. read more

Well this was my second time at Revival. The first time I was not impressed but I felt it was my bad choice of choosing the Garden state pizza. I wrongly assumed it would be a very pizza, it was actually salad on pizza doe. So we came back to try a more traditional pizza. Which was their take on a margarita pizza. We ordered the pizza and a side salad, (which took 15 mins before they took our order). It took an Hour to be served and they did not bring put the appetizer side salads and had not made them when they brought put the pizza. Now for the pizza.... The pizza doe was not properly cooked, the tomatoes sauce was like water, the cheese was non existent including a lack of mozzarella. We chose to add mushrooms, and they were clearly straight from a can. It wasn't even warm When I went to show the owner, his exact words were "well if you don't like it, we will take it off the ticket and you can go down the road to Johnnie's pizza because clearly you don't like good pizza!!" Not only was the pizza inedible but the attitude of the owner was down right terrible. I knew it had to be the owner , because an employee at any decent restraunt would be fired for behaving that way to a customer. An older man , I think the bar man, nodded at me and winked when I complained about the pizza, and as I was leaving he apologized and was clearly embarrassed. It was 7.30 on a Friday night and half empty. I am not suprised. I have had many artisan pizzas in many good pizzerias, this was by far the worst I have ever had and the worst service, and attitude. read more

Unfortunately, I can't say I was impressed. Received our overpriced pizza and the crust was unevenly cooked. We were given "dollar store" paper plates to eat off of. Withing 2 minutes the plate has disintegrated from grease. The crust was thick on the outer edge, thin in the middle. The "sauce" (what there was of it) looked like canned tomatoes and could only be found around the edge. My dining partner was offered a drink refill and a togo cup. I was offered neither. It's worth the drive! The food is fresh and wait staff is friendly and fast. The Monte Cristo appetizers, Barbara Nell burger, Barry Pepperoni pizza and Garlic wings(dry) are fantastic. Ice cold beer to enjoy with your meal. Atmosphere is kid friendly and you may catch a glimpse of the owner waiting and serving. Enjoy! read more

I've never had Government cheese but this is how I would label what came on the "pizza" if it were a blind taste test. They would have been better to have given me a to-go box with sauce and a few toppings on it. The crust was baked cardboard and to make it worse, it was toasted to an acrid burnt flavor. The toppings were sparse and bland. The whole thing made me want to go get a Covid test to see if I had lost my sense of taste. The one guy waiting tables was doing his best so I left a tip and left. I have some good things to say and some not so good. When entering the resturant we were greeted promptly by a friendly person and were seated without delay. Our waitress was quickly at our table for our drink orders, and was very friendly. We had some questions concerning their beer selection, which she had a slight problem answering. However, she did bring a drink menu to us which answered our questions. We ordered our beer and appetizers, which were the Monte Christo egg rolls. When our waitress brought our drinks out, we ordered our pizza. The appetizers came out soon and were delicious. Then we waited and waited for our pizza. Our waitress came by to check on us and we asked if it would be much longer for the pizza. She explained that a lot of call in orders had come in not long before we had ordered. So almost an hour after we ordered it, someone beside our waitress brought the pizza to our table and hastily took off. Then we discovered that almost half of the crust was burned black. We pulled off the burned parts and left them on the pizza pan and ate what we could. After that we didn't see much of our waitress and when we did interact she got away from us as fast as she could. We guess that she was afraid that we would go off on her about the pizza. We didn't complain at the time because we had been there for over an hour already and didn't have the time to wait for a redo. Anyone who walked by our table could not have missed all of the burnt crust piled up on the pizza pan, yet no one offered so much as a "Sorry your pizza didn't turn out so well." read more

This place is incredible. We were in town for the weekend and heard about this place from some friends in west monroe. Loved the setup inside and the staff were awesome and helpful. The smash burgers and fire oven pizza is a great combo. Loved the Barbara Nell smash. We will definitely be coming back when in town! read more
