This review is purely for something in life called 'PEACH PUDDING'. We ordered in from here when we were dead tired and my sister I don't think wanted to move after almost drowning in the river. The pizza is really nothing to write home about. It tastes like dominoes as does most pizza in suburbia in the rest of the country I tend to find. For our pizza we just went with ham and pineapple. I've finally found someone else in life (my sister) that will share in my sick sick delights in life. Oh, there was also a muffaletta sandwich somewhere in there. I was drunk off of a white russian slurpee so my memory of that is somewhat faded. Moving on. PEACH PUDDING PIE. When I was asked if I ever had it and that I needed to try it before leaving, folks weren't kidding. This is like crack. Desert pizza crack. I have no idea what goes in this. Are there real peaches in it? It tastes cream cheesy, but warm, with cinnamon, there's some kind of fruit I want to believe but macerated up with the cream cheese onto the fluffy dough strips. Where does the word pudding come from? Is there pudding in this? I don't care. I'll have 4 more slices of peach pudding, please. Forget the pizza. Pizza who? New York needs to get on top of this.

Depending where you buy from it can always hit but sometimes, ingredients aren't always fresh.

So first time here and as soon I walked in the door , was greeted with friendly hello …read more I ordered the fried raviolis for appetizer and they are amazing . I also got chicken parmigiana over mixed veggies (swapped veggies instead of spaghetti) and it came with the fresh warm rolls (amazing too) . Then got a slice of tiramisu for dessert. All of this was sooo good that I will be back tomorrow to try either the pizza or calzone. The place looks great for family dinners as well as a nice romantic dinner w/ a loved one. I recommend this place to anyone passing by and or living here. I actually mentioned my dinner to couple in the hotel I'm at and they walked right out the hotel to head here for dinner .

This was our first time eating here, and I promise it will be our last. If I could give zero stars…read morefor the food, I would. Our waitress was great, but unfortunately, the food and the way our situation was handled were extremely disappointing. The Milano's Favorite chicken was bland. The chicken was VERY SMALL, PAPER thin, dry/mealy, with hard edges. The dish has jalapeños in it, but it had absolutely no spice. We had to add crushed red pepper flakes and salt just to make it somewhat edible. Even then, I have no idea how it can be called "favorite." Alfredo dipping sauce was bland and clumpy. The mozzarella sticks were just crap. 3 guests ordered the ribeye. ALL Ribeyes were fatty/gristly. One of the guests who ordered the "16 oz" ribeye emphasized to the waitress that it needed to be cooked rare. The first steak was nowhere near 16 ounces, was maybe 1/4 inch thick, very fatty/gristly and came out medium. Honestly, it looked like something you'd get at Waffle House. Frankly, the Waffle House steak would've been better and A LOT cheaper! We requested another steak, AGAIN asking that it be cooked rare. The owner personally brought it to the table, but unfortunately, it was just as disappointing. It didn't even look like a ribeye, was still maybe 1/4 inch thick, was even smaller than the first one & certainly didn't appear to be 16 ounces (MAYBE 10oz), was even more fatty/gristly, had no deep grill/char marks, and was gray in color--like it was boiled. Once again, it was cooked medium instead of rare. The guest took one bite of the remade steak after cutting away all the fat/gristle and literally packed the steak up to take home for the dog. We asked to have the $30 steak removed from the bill, but the owner refused, claiming it had been eaten. The guest then unpacked the steak and showed the waitress that only one bite had been taken. Even after the owner seeing this, the owner STILL refused to remove the charge. Absolutely poor customer service! I have never been to a restaurant where, when something was prepared incorrectly or a customer was clearly dissatisfied, the staff--let alone the owner--wouldn't at least attempt to make things right. This was especially frustrating after two disappointing steaks were prepared incorrectly and left virtually uneaten. Mistakes happen, and not every meal will be perfect. However, how a restaurant handles a problem says a lot about its customer service. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, and the owner's refusal to address the situation made it even worse. Word of mouth goes a LONG way, and our group has already shared this experience with others and advised them against visiting or recommending this establishment. Based on our experience, we certainly won't be returning. BTW, look on their website reviews, you'll see complaints of the poorly made 16oz ribeye, roaches in food & in restaurant & rude owner--I didn't see these reviews until after our awful experience here.

Honesty will give a customer a chance to change they order why they still in store. Why lie like you have an item or cooking fresh items when you know it's a lie.

Upon entering the store I noticed it was mostly empty, but they had a large number of staff in the back fulfilling what I assume to be pick up and delivery orders. A couple different people asked if I've been taken care of, and I had and waited only a couple minutes for my food to be ready. Seems like a classic pizzeria experience, I could hear one group of people in a corner where I could not see that seemed to be enjoying themselves, and there was at least one person out front wiping tables keeping the place clean. So overall a good pizzeria ambience although almost empty at 7:30 on a Thursday night. My order was prepared and ready as ordered. They had a nice little topping station where I was able to dump Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes and black pepper on my pizza. First off I got the "sweep the kitchen" pizza 8 inch which was absolutely delicious & perfectly cooked. Ate the whole thing. Also got the small muffaletta, which was also good, but I was pretty full from the pizza I ate, but no complaints. Unlike me, I ordered the dessert pizza, a peach pie pizza, which I had very low expectations for, but was absolutely blown away. It was superb, the best dessert pizza I've ever had. It really was seriously delicious. So all this food for under 30 bucks was a very good deal. I hear that Johnnys is THE Louisiana pizza, I've never had it before, but believe it and I think they deserve their reputation. Will definitely return on a future trip to the area.
