Service was very attentive as soon as we walked in. Seated and greeted. Comfort food with quality and quantity. Service was polite all around. Cornbread was my favorite bread! Fried chicken was crispy and juicy, exactly what I was craving. The kiddos loved the tenders and the sides.

Delicious southern comfort food. The service was great, our hostess and waitress were very friendly and kind. The resturant is spacious, which can accommodate a larger family and a variety of options to choose from for everyone to pick from.

Was wanting some southern fried chicken and all the fixins while I'm here visiting in the South and the place we were originally headed to was closed, so we decided to stop here at Johnny's Farm House. Glad we did; it did not disappoint! My friend and I shared half a chicken platter ($15.99) since she likes the light meat and I like the dark. It came with either a biscuit or cornbread and two sides. We got the biscuit and cabbage and fried squash as the two sides and then ordered two extra sides ($3.95 each) of collard greens and mac and cheese. The "half a chicken" came with 5 pieces; the breast cut in two pieces, two wings, and a drumstick (missing the thigh and since when did a chicken have two wings on one side?!). Regardless, the chicken was crispy, well seasoned, and not greasy at all; delicious! I like my collard greens cooked a bit longer with a bit more seasoning, but it tasted healthy. The mac and cheese didn't have that cheesy crusty top I like on my mac and cheese, but it was rich and tasty. As others have mentioned, the portions are big, so expect leftovers! They have daily specials and I'd love to go back on a Tuesday to try their chicken and dumplings!

Most of the food I've tried has been delicious, I don't recommend the fried chicken (all white) it's a little to big for my liking and isn't fully cooked/crispy enough for me Chicken and dumplings taste like grandma made it Service has always been good and staff is friendly Ambience gives family vibes Only con I have is that the prices have changed but they haven't been updated on paper menu or website

This place is right next to my doctors office. I wanted to try their chicken pot pie but wasn't serving it that day. I ordered the blackberry jam Cheeseburger but unfortunately they got my order wrong and gave me a regular cheeseburger. So the service is good but check your order before you leave. The burger was still good but I really wanted to try that blackberry burger.

A family member recommended this place and I wasn't sure what to expect. But I was definitely pleasantly surprised and plan to return again to try some other menu items. Our party of 6 arrived late morning on Father's Day without a reservation. We were quickly seated after a minimal wait. Our server came to our table promptly and continued to check on us frequently throughout our meal. All of our food was delicious. They were able to accommodate my son's gluten free diet. The only issue we had was that our meals did not all come out at once. My mom's meal never came out at all. When she spoke to our server, she asked for something completely different and that came out quickly. Our server assured us that her meal would be taken care of completely (which it was) due to the issue. Other than that, it was a great experience. After we finished eating, we sat and talked. Nobody ever made us feel rushed to leave even though the restaurant was getting busier. The next time we visit, I plan to try one of the many delicious desserts they sell.

I cannot believe it's taken me this long to write a review for Johnny's Farm House. We've been eating here since it opened. We've always said it's like eating at Cracker Barrel without the wait. The menu of down home main courses and "fixings" is large so even your pickiest eaters should be able to find something to eat. Food is always hot and fresh and the tea will please any good Southerner. The staff has always been attentive and courteous. But of late, I think they've been having a staffing shortage. That's not to say the waiters/waitresses are not attentive and courteous. The ones that have shown up to work are just busting their behinds to get it all done, so it may take a bit longer for your tea to be refilled. I recommend if you're looking for some tasty country cookin' that you give them a try.

Fried chicken, fried okra and green beans. Good and hot!

This fried chicken meal will have you coming back. I believe somebody's grandma is in the kitchen. Yummy!!!!

Not many restaurants have the guts to put something totally unique on the menu. When I go out, those unique and signature items are the things I look for. The BlackBerry Jam burger was really really good. The jam really complimented the savory beef, bacon and cheese so well. Think Monte Cristo sandwich or a sweet apple chutney on your pork chop and you'll get what I'm saying. On top of all this yummy food, the service was phenomenal! Super friendly and fast. I loved every minute of my meal there. I'm also gonna tell everyone I know about it.

We came here on a weeknight around 6:30 for dinner because they had chicken and dumplings as a daily special. Three out of four of us were planning on ordering it. However, they said they were sold out for the day. Two of us tried ordering something else but were told those were unavailable as well. We survived and tried some other items. Everything was edible but nothing to write home about, mostly bland and gummy. My main issue was the service. One of my party has obvious mobility issues and was not accommodated. We asked for a closer table and were denied. It was a very awkward experience including our packing up to leave. We won't return as there are plenty of options with similar food in the area. Maybe it was just a lazy night and light staff but we did not feel welcome and felt like we got the bottom of the barrel. Literally, we didn't even get refills on our teas.

This place is very generous in their portions. The price is Pennie's to the modern market. I love the hospitality of the place.

They have a large menu and I've never ordered anything that I didn't like. Concord needs more restaurants like Johnnys.

I went through the drive-through around 2 PM today and was immediately met with attitude when I asked for the big box with nuggets, they only had four signs plastered across the building for the special. I immediately got my head bitten off by whoever it was on the intercom about how they were not offering that. I mentioned that "OK well you still have signs that you are but either way I'll just get a nugget meal", and at this point a woman came over the intercom, interrupting the first person I was speaking to with an extreme attitude and said yes, I was correct that the signs were still up but no I couldn't have it. Just very blunt and ugly honestly. I order my nugget meal I get to the window. The woman at the window will not make eye contact with me. She is too busy having a full-blown conversation that has nothing to do with her job with her coworker, and just absolutely utterly ignoring my existence. She almost dropped my card because she couldn't pay attention to what she was doing. She almost spilled my tea on me because she couldn't take the two seconds to look at me and stop her conversation. And when I asked her for the dipping sauce that I wanted with my nuggets, she barked at me, quite literally like a damn dog "TWENTY SEVEN CENT". So I repeated myself and she again screamed at me "TWENTY SEVEN CENT!". Which I responded and screamed back " YOURE CHARGING ME FOR SAUCE WITH MY NUGGET MEAL!?" and at this point, she just threw the sauce that I wanted in the bag and basically threw the bag into my car. And icing on the cake y'all THEY WERE BURNT like break your teeth burnt. And the tea SOURED! This wasn't even worth the abuse from your poorly trained staff popeyes. This is the worst customer service I have ever received threw a drive threw... And I am not one to leave reviews. But I had not one, not two, BUT THREE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES CATCH AN ATTITUDE WITH ME. That is disgustingly inappropriate of your employees. Extremely disrespectful. AND ITS SHAMEFUL! Do better Popeyes!

I placed an order and asked for ghost pepper sauce (which is on the menu and on signs in the parking lot) she told me they don't carry a sauce like that. I placed the ordered and pulled up to the window. The employee handed me 2 sweet teas and then shut the window then another employee came to give us our food. I nicely said I was supposed to have a coke and a sweet tea but got two teas he waved his hand at me and then turned around and said the girl wants to change her tea to a coke now and shut the window. I didn't want to change it I just wanted what I ordered. Then she finally came back to the window after about 3 mins and handed me a coke. Then I just asked for my receipt she rolled her eyes then looked back and another employee and said can you print her a F***ing receipt. It took about another 2 mins before I got my receipt. We literally were the only people in the drive thru or the parking lot for that matter. This was completely disgusting and rude. I tried to call corporate but they only have a recording and then wants to send a text. I also tried to find out who owns this certain store but it's no where to be found. Worst customer service ever!!!

My daughter called and when we arrived, we were lucky and was seated right away as a table was coming open. Small inside footprint but cozy with a full bar. Also outdoor patio seating. The hostess, our waitress and the walk around staff refilling water was top tier. Excellent customer service. Our waitress wasbbomb, I hate i forgot her name. Even though the place was packed she tooknour order in a timely manner, and kept checking on us be9fre we got our food,.kept us informed that the kitchen was busy but she on it. Allnifnkur food was delicious. My daughter had chicken and Belgium waffles, and I had the shrimp amd grits, my mom had a breast platter. All great choices. Give them a try!

Seriously. Everything has pork. I got a handheld egg sandwich with tomato and cheese on a croissant with their potatoes. Basic sandwich, dry and the cheese & tomato were an extra charge. The potatoes were hard like they're old. The mimosa was good, regular sparkling with pineapple juice. And their tip machine doubles the recommended amount so for my $9 mimosa it generates a +$3 tip at 18 % but it should have been under $2. Just wanted to point that out too. I won't be back.
