2 rocket doubles fries and a vanilla shake
    Ahmad W.

I wanted the food from this restaurant. I was watching the football game and I didn't feel like driving. I ordered food through Uber eats for the first time ever. The service is wonderful. The food is delicious. I ordered 2 rocket singles and made them both doubles with a order of fries and a vanilla shake and I made it a malt shake. I grew up on malt milkshakes in Savanah Georgia. First time eating here delicious food.

This Johnny Rockets location at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta is a great place to go for for delicious burgers, shakes, and much more. I really like the location and being able to get Johnny Rockets while shopping. The staff here is very friendly and efficient at getting everything together for you.

My burger? To die for! Instead of a bun, I went for the sourdough bread for my spicy jalapenos burger. And boy, was it spicy. Just the way I like it. My sis had a burger with mushroom, and was looking as satisfied.

Absolutely love eating here every once in a blue moon. The nostalgia in this oldies diners are like nothing else! The food here is pretty good too but not too many healthy options other than salad or chicken though. Burger and fries were very tasty and fresh. The milkshake was fantastic!Definitely worth going if you have never been! You will feel like you are back in time or Back to the Future!

The vibes are comforting and casual, with friendly service to match. Food and drinks Pro tip: get the breakfast enchiladas! The chorizo was so flavorful and the sauce was delicious as well. I took no leftovers because I wanted to experience all of the deliciousness on the spot. Service From the hostess to our actual server to whoever is working the bar, the staff were amazing. Food arrived quickly, even though there was a steady constant stream of people coming and going Verdict I'll be back!

I ordered the comfy chicken with a salmon patty and french toast. Weird combination but I wanted to try many items. The French toast was really good and simple. They're about to hit 70 years this May, and it makes sense the second you walk in. The inside is about as classic diner as it gets. Comfortable booths, old-school feel, and a front counter with snacks, shirts, and little items for sale that just add to the charm. The staff is what really takes it over the top. Nikki has been my server multiple times, and she's amazing. She's usually singing or whistling along to whatever music is playing, and it honestly puts you in a good mood without you even realizing it. Service like that is rare. Food-wise, I've tried several things now, and everything has been great, but here are my top standouts: The catfish is one of my favorites. It comes in strips, fried perfectly, and packed with flavor. Chicken and waffles are excellent. The waffle is crispy on the outside and soft inside instead of fluffy, and it works really well. The chicken itself is seriously flavorful -- not just crispy, but seasoned really well all the way through. But the biggest surprise for me: The country ham with red-eye gravy. I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be the best ham I've ever had. It's thinly sliced, so you don't have to deal with a thick, chewy cut, and it's full of flavor. The red-eye gravy that the ham is marinated in (which I was told is a family recipe) takes it to another level. They also give you extra on the side to dip. If you mix that ham with over-easy eggs and hash browns, then grab a bite with a biscuit... that's one of the best breakfast bites I've had in a long time. And to top it all off, it just pairs perfectly with a nice, cold Diet Coke. Something about that combo just works. And to be clear, it's not just one or two good items -- everything I've had here has been great. I've also tried the omelet, the chicken biscuit with egg and cheese, and the country fried steak, and they've all been consistently delicious. They have a large breakfast menu, and I still haven't even gotten into lunch yet. Only thing to keep in mind is parking. There is a lot on the side, but it fills up quickly since other businesses share the area. If you come at a busy time, it might take a minute to find a spot. Overall, this is one of those places you keep coming back to. Spots like this are part of the community and deserve the support. Wishing them another 100 years.

The Silver Skillet is exactly that. No, they don't serve cappuccinos with breakfast. Yes, the fried pork chop will have bones on it. In other words, stop complaining. Silver Skillet is exactly the opposite of modern brunch and breakfast. Having opened in 1956 and having served as a backdrop for countless films and tv shows, it preserves the most classic diner experience that remains in Atlanta. Not only does it feel like stepping into a movie set, but the experience of being around the people who worked here their whole life and the most classic execution of every detail in preparation is what makes Silver Skillet so special. Let's make sure to love it for what it is and preserve it. If it is not someone's cup of tea, nobody is dragging them back here to eat deep fried pork chops every day.
