What began as a straightforward replacement project--one that reasonably should have cost in the…read morerange of $15,000--has turned into an extremely disappointing and costly experience. Not only did the project escalate to just under $23,000 with the original contractor, but due to ongoing issues and incomplete or unsatisfactory work, we were forced to hire additional contractors, bringing the total cost to $30,000 plus. Throughout the process, there was a clear lack of transparency in pricing, poor project management, and a failure to set realistic expectations. Costs continued to rise without adequate explanation or justification, leaving us feeling misled and frustrated. Even more concerning was the quality and completeness of the work, which ultimately did not meet acceptable standards and required further intervention at our own expense. The one leading the project had no business in doing so. She was consistently rude, unprofessional, and showed a clear lack of understanding of what she was doing. After numerous conversations and items missed during the quote and/or left out and then overcharges for her mistake, instead of providing guidance or solutions, interactions were frustrating and unproductive, which only made an already bad situation worse. There was no competence or accountability, just further confusion and poor communication. A project of this scale should be handled with professionalism, clear communication, and accountability. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short on all fronts. What should have been a manageable replacement project turned into a prolonged, stressful, and unnecessarily expensive ordeal and anyone who has viewed our replacement their jaws have dropped. It's embarrassing to say the least. I will leave you with this, the owner Jim, who was wonderful and who we spoke to (finally towards the end) offered to tear it down and replace after all was said and done, but unfortunately, he was getting ready to retire and he had nothing to do with the initial scope and project and were afraid it might be even worse so we chose to go with another contractor. For him to say that - - you know it's bad... I would like to start all over and never use them but obviously that is not an option at this point. I would strongly urge others to please proceed with caution and ensure all details are in writing, timelines, and costs are explicitly outlined and adhered to before committing.

Brunswick Volkswagen is one of the car dealers under Brunswick Auto Mart brand umbrella. My family…read moreand I trust no other car dealership in the area, it remained unchanged for many years. I purchased my third car from this dealership yesterday, first Volkswagen. I am so impressed with every experience here! INVENTORY: The inventory at Brunswick Auto Mart is huge for both new and pre-owned vehicles. Make sure that you browse all their buildings located within close proximity. Brunswick Volkswagen building specifically has a huge lot of pre-owned vehicles including Volkswagen (new cars are also available). The inventory is available to browse online as well with helpful filters (great for saving time!) All vehicles include videos and CARFAX. It's incredibly easy to browse for experienced car people and those who don't have any idea what's going on like myself. You get a very clear picture of choices before even visiting the dealership. What I most love about Brunswick Volkswagen is that they genuinely want to find you a vehicle that fits all your criteria - budget, mileage, and lifestyle. That's a a huge contrast to other local dealerships I've experienced in the area. They will gladly partner with you and keep an eye out for the best incoming vehicles. I had several choices for my very picky criteria, and the decision was hard (quite a few choices!) Ultimately my choice was WV Jetta. My first Volkswagen after years of being Mazda girl. The car met all my criteria and also had a major cute factor. SERVICE: The building is gorgeous - ample natural light and very comfortable surroundings for customers. There is also a comfortable, well lit customer lounge to make the process more comfortable. The service genuinely deserves one million stars. And I'm a very picky service person. Everyone I've worked with over the years for car purchase made a very stressful process a breeze. They felt like partners rather than sales. The process here is very customer-centric. The experience is very smooth, clear, and respects one's time. I also always felt like the vehicles I'm purchasing are safe and reliable. Some have lasted me years. I especially liked working with sales guy Ravi during my last visit. It was a very stressful and uncertain time for me personally looking for a car after a car accident. I walked into this car dealership and knew that I could just exhale all the stress. Ravi was fantastic with finding the cars within my criteria, explaining the differences between the vehicles, ensuring that the vehicles best match my lifestyle, and making sure that the entire transaction was smooth. He made all of us feel heard - myself and my parents. Ravi also seemed like a genuinely nice person which is also important. I will definitely work with him next time if I ever need another vehicle. Highly recommend! Especially as a woman, I feel that navigating car purchase process is often very intimidating and tedious. Not here. I can with confidence say that at Brunswick Automart (including this Brunswick Volkswagen) always makes this process approachable, efficient, and very positive. I actually look forward going to Brunswick Auto Mart and looking at cars! I very highly recommend this car dealership!
