As a true fan, I had high expectations for this experience; however, I was disappointed. Now the staff (characters and bartenders) are excellent!!! characters are played very well and the drinks are awesome!!! This is the only reason I gave any stars at all. The experience itself is supposed to be an immersive escape room; however, aside from a couple of questions from the characters and maybe one clue in the room, there isn't much to solve. There is a shooting simulation with a laser tag type of theme, where you are lined up similar to a gun range and you shoot various guns throughout a simulated video of bad guys. At the end, you end up in the bar, where if you purchase the drink package, you can redeem one ticket for a drink. Note: if you get the drink package, suggest saving one ticket for after the event. The cocktails and mocktails are wonderfully made and distinct to the experience. Also, we were told we would receive a Continental coin if we purchased the drink package but you do not, you get a ticket which is not cool! I did purchase a coin from the gift shop though. Note: this would be a better experience if: - there was more immersion by having a something to solve in each room - a timer count down in each room - Smaller groups This would make the experience more like the movie!! I thought this experience was really well done. My friend has never even seen any of the movies and she still enjoyed our time there. We arrived earlier in the day and had to reserve a time slot. When we got there, we were taken to a table to wait at the hotel bar for our time slot. When they were ready, we were taken to an elevator to start our journey. They character actors are really good and make you feel as though you are experiencing it for real. Luckily, I got to do some of the interactions a few times, so that enhanced my experience. I wasn't just one of the people standing in the background, but I was invited to sit and also to participate in several rooms. It was great. The entire experience is theater with activities and a little escape room thrown in. Even at the end, we sat at the bar and there was a magician who did an amazing job. This was a fun attraction! The sets are great, the actors are solid! I liked the music throughout the John Wick vibe. The Las Vegas International Hotel (formerly the Hilton, now Westgate) is where Elvis once performed back in the day. Fun fact--the fictional Continental Hotel in John Wick even sounds like it's inspired by the International Hotel. Coincidence or clever nod? Either way, it adds a cool layer to the experience The staff stayed in character and made it feel immersive, and I loved the added touch of escape room-style interaction. Tip: Bring a big group--it makes the interactive parts more fun and engaging. That said, the ending felt a bit rushed and incomplete. Our group wasn't sure what happened, and I wish there was more clarity in the final scene. It felt like we missed something important. Slowing down or clarifying the actors' scripts would help a lot. What I felt was missing: * Photo Opportunities: Since photos aren't allowed inside, it would've been amazing to have one designated photo area in a John Wick-inspired set. You are ushered from room to room under the purview of the actors, being kept with your group of 12. Some of the room host actors were more into it than others, but they were mostly good. I liked the casino dealer the most (Henry, is that you?), even though his schtick was to make fun of the guests, which was pretty clever improv but also awkward. I love immersive theater and the John Wick films and this is fun to do once if you like both. There are some costumes from Wick films on the second floor of the bar at the end. A couple of scenarios are not comfortable for claustrophobics, but let the staff know if you are uncomfortable with tight spaces or with mobility and they'll help you out. read more

That was one of the best sidecars I've ever had! The subtle sweet with the smooth bourbon. It had a clean finish to it as well. Loved it! So this was one of the whole purposes that I went to Vegas with some friends. I'm a hughes John wick fan and this was top on my list! This is an area 15, so you'll have to either drive or take a ride chair to get there because it's not on the strip. But once you get that you can basically play all day because there's so much there! Going to the John wick experience. You want to make sure you have reservations because you may not get in if you don't. And also make sure that your people are on time when you do go. They do groups and parties but you don't want to hold anybody up. So make sure that you and everybody are with is punctual. Let me first start by giving contact saying that they don't really allow pictures once you pass certain thresholds. So there's not a lot that I could show. You want to be fully immersed in the experience so you don't want to give away secrets and stuff like that so I totally understand. It was really cool and a really dope experience but at the same time, they want to keep it under wraps and have you fully enjoy instead of recording and taking pictures of everything. They experience itself was awesome, you'll come into Continental bar and you'll be greeted. You'll get a coin and such, and you'll go to the bar and you can order drinks. The drinks are about $20, give or take. I had an old fashioned. Feels good. But when you come in, it's very thematic, everything you see will be a tune to actually what you would expect from the continents or within the movie universe. This goes from the decor to the actors portraying roles within the building. Now from here, not to give a lot of spoilers, it's a big escape room. You and your party will go down in the elevator, you'll speak to some actors, and you'll be put through a certain number of things that are really entertaining and they really drive it home with the acting. So many things could be puzzle solving, searches, using weapons, maybe even a game of hide and seek. It's all done very well and everybody you see does their job superbly when it comes to acting. You feel like you're actually in a movie. When it ends you'll end up in a bar and you can buy more drinks and hang out as long as you like. Once you leave you can't come back so keep that in mind. Also, if you want to go to the gift shop, the gift shop does close at a certain time so if you come too late, you won't be able to make it. Overall I loved it. Overall, this was an enjoyable experience with lots of twists and turns but I wanted it to be longer and more puzzles. There were some great moments of intensity and fun games with guns and table games. At the end, you get an opportunity to get a mocktail and cocktail. If you like the movies you will definitely enjoy the "experience". If you are into escape rooms there is really not a lot of solving. More of playing along with actors. They allow up to 12 people in a group which was a few too many. Some of the spaces are tight and it was crowded. 8 should be max. I can't count how many times I have gone to Area 15. I don't think I've had been here on my last 2 trips to Vegas to I made sure I stopped. I saw that alot has changed since the last visit. Ok so you can only get in by ordering tickets online, ticket price were $63.98 and for that i just knew this had to be a great experience. You walk in and it was a bar, well the bar from the hotel Contenental from the movie and bam!, $13 for a drink. So my intention was to get a video of this experience but of course as soon as it started they said no recording. So much for that. It didn't at all feel like the movie to me, i was a little disappointed at times and bored at times. It was ok but not $63 ok. I trying to figure how to explain it but they had actors and that's all i can really remember. I wasn't excited or having a rush of adrenaline. I won't do this again and I am only wondering what the zombi experience across the way is like and after this i kind of fear it. I will look online before I go, I just took a chance on this one. I'm a huge fan of the John Wick movies, and was excited to learn that there is a John Wick Experience that just opened next to Area15. In order to get a military discount, I had to call (or you can email) the manager who gave me a rate of about $44, then emailed me an invoice so I could pick the day, and time I'd like to attend, and purchase my tickets. Outside of the Continental sits John Wicks car, and the clean up van which is so cool. Before walking in, your met by the doorman who makes sure you have a reservation before he allows you in. Once inside, you're greeted by the concierge who reminds you that "There will be no business conducted on Continental grounds," instructs you to sign in, sign a waiver, and wait in the lounge area for further instructions via text. When you finally receive the text, it directs you to head to the elevator where an elevator operator awaits to give you more instructions, and take you to the appropriate floor. When you walk out of the elevator, your John Wick experience really begins. Needless to say, it's not your everyday, run of the mill experience, and it's very different from an escape room. It's an interactive experience, so you need to be ready to participate. Every area that you enter inside of the Continental is decorated, and staged just like that in the movie, and every person who works in this hotel plays their part just as if they were in the movie. This was so over the top fun, and exciting that I came back the next day, and did it again. This place just opened a week or so ago. You can book tickets online at their website. This is not an escape room. I thought it was, but it's way more than that. From the minute, you arrive at the location, you are immersed in the John Wick experience. The cleaning van is parked outside of the location. Sometimes there are other vehicles of John Wick's also at the location. The staff here is amazing. They really make the event so real. Each actor is so immersed in the John Wick experience. It's like you're in the movie itself. There are escape room like things that you have to do. But It goes way further than that. We went to this experience because it was my friend's birthday . They even gave him a special coin to celebrate that day. I don't wanna give away all of the secrets hidden inside this building. But everything they did was so amazing and so much fun. We went through at least five or six different rooms. It was very interactive . My friends and I had a great time. I am sure you'll enjoy this experience too. First off, the whole experience is incredibly themed. It's so cool and immersive, and when we were waiting for our reservation an entertainer was walking around offering card tricks or mind reading tests. He was super talented and it was really cool watching him. The experience itself led you through multiple rooms, more or less guided by and ushered to-and-fro by actors. We went to celebrate my partner's birthday with a party of 5. Because of the group size, we were with another group of people, which was fine for us, but may not be ideal for a more reserved group of people. In fact, the whole thing may not be great for those who don't love social interaction. Each room is very neatly themed, but there really isn't much to interact with, and there's not a lot of secrets to find within each room. Some of the rooms are much more interactive than others, like the gun training room, and the general quality of the "escape" itself is super high and is plenty of fun. However, I don't feel any desire to really come back. For the price point, I feel like it's worth doing once just to see it, and then as soon as your curiosity is sated it's fine. We originally booked this for opening weekend which was Valentines Day but they extended the opening til later so we had our tickets on hold until we were able to come back since there are no refunds. The John Wick Experience was a fun, campy, good time for fans of the film. One of the buildings outside of Area 15 was revamped to look like the Continental Hotel, and executed beautifully. We had a 7:20 start time, but arrived early, as we wanted to get a drink at the bar first, which the confirmation email suggested. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed inside until about 6:55, and by the time we got our drinks, which were fantastic, it was already 7:10, so we had to rush to finish them. Then, we didn't actually get collected to begin until 7:30. I would definitely liked to have enjoyed my drink more instead of guzzling it. The actual experience is a combination between interactive theater and easy escape room. The characters know all the members of the group (photos are taken when you check in), and everyone is part of the action- down to "bounties" placed on our heads. The characters also do some good natured teasing of everyone in the group, so go with the flow, laugh, and have a thick skin! I don't want to spoil too many of the details, but the actual shooting part of the experience was a little underwhelming. The guns are pretty heavy with very sticky and heavy triggers too. This place essentially replicates the Continental from the titular John Wick movies. What's cool is how formal all the employees are; they do a good job of replicating the high customer service you see in the movies. You can sit in the first floor bar and order some expensive drinks. The actual experience itself revolves around going up to the higher floors and going from room to room. Each room has a different actor who guides you through the story which is that you and your group are people who have helped John Wick and as such, you are being guided to escape to your safety. Some rooms have you playing a mini game, some have you listening to an actor, some involve solving simple puzzles. What is cool about the whole place is how meticulous the set design was. All of it is brimming with flavor. I did notice that one of the actors was wearing sneakers to go with his whole formal wear which totally felt out of place. One of the rooms felt really lame because all it involved was half the group going inside a van for a minute and the rest of the group standing around doing nothing and that was it; they really need to rework that room to be something more interesting. Overall, it was nice but not really mind blowing. I can definitely say it's not worth the $67. I think it's only worth coming here if you have an Area 15 Level 3 or above access pass (which cost $145+) because at least the access pass gives you entry into a slew of other attractions here. read more

We will do the experience on the next trip with the whole family. The bar area is beautifully done. The bartender was great. I ordered "The Elder" cocktail since recipe looks close to one of my favorite cocktails. This cocktail was rough as Hell and burned like it too. This reminds me of San Diego Comic-Con immersive activations or Universal's HHN houses in terms of what it's trying to achieve by taking you and a party of people through a "story" - you are assassins trying to escape the Continental in Las Vegas because you are being hunted for assisting John Wick. The actors and employees are on point with their dress, acting, and interaction. If you're a fan of the movies, you'll love each of the rooms because they are faithful replicas of key scenes from the movies. The experience culminates in a shooting arcade-type game and then kind of fizzles into this lame escape "coda"... but generally everything was fun. I didn't really get any adrenaline from this though because you're never really running anywhere and when you're walking with a group of 12 people at snail's pace it kind of breaks the immersion of urgency... lol Two bars are in this experience; one you can experience either before or after your appointment and the other one is after your experience. A Note on the Tattoo Queue One part of the experience includes a free airbrush tattoo, which is a fun bonus -- but get in line early. Unfortunately, our night ended on a disappointing note. As our whole party weren't able to have the experience even though they were in the queue. We were told at that the tattoo queue was being shut down it was close to closing but -- not because of time, but because no one was ordering more drinks. I had purchased a cocktail earlier (I was with my child, so one was plenty), and others in our group had also bought drinks. But when a group behind us bought another round, they were allowed in the queue. After my mom expressed our frustration, we were told we could go ahead -- but now had others in front of us, and the artist looked exhausted. I declined out of respect for her. The manager offered us Kohn Wick coin, stickers, buttons, and a discount at the gift shop, and even said we could come back another day for the tattoo -- but realistically, we weren't planning on returning we'll not just for a tattoo. Suggestion for Management: Instead of cutting the queue based on drink sales, set a clear tattoo cutoff time (e.g. 9:00 PM) so guests can plan accordingly. Telling paying ticket holders to buy another round or miss out isn't acceptable -- especially when we're celebrating a special occasion like my brother's birthday. Who has to be a John Wick fanatic here who're his black suit and everything lol. What was an incredible night ended on a sour note. Overall Despite the ending, the John Wick Experience itself is amazing, and I still recommend it -- especially for fans of the franchise. As a HUGE John Wick fan, I was absolutely blown away by this! The entire experience lasts a little under an hour (depending on when you show up and get drinks in the lobby), and it is worth every second. If you can swing the VIP experience, DO IT--it's totally worth the perks. Just a heads-up that you aren't allowed to take pictures during the walkthrough, but honestly, you'll be too busy being immersed in the world to care. There are multiple themed rooms (I think i counted 8 total from when I walked in) with different actors who are incredibly interactive with the group. My biggest piece of advice: brush up on the movies before you go so you know the inside terminology. It really pays to be bold and engage with the actors; in my tour, most people stayed pretty quiet, which was a bit of a bummer since the performers really feed off your energy! ​The tour ends at a private bar where new groups cycle in about every 10 minutes. If you see a good seat or table when you get there, grab it immediately! The drinks were delicious--I ordered the "With a Pencil" (IYKYK) and it was spot on. Our bartender, Jenn, was great and so fun to watch, and they even had a magician named Stacie who was super entertaining. Don't skip the gift shop on your way out, either. It involves a lot of steps even with prior reservations, back & forths & for alcohol reasons I imagine they needed your license? -JWE SPOLIERS ALERT WARNING- Once your check in gets started you'll be in the main entry area which is also a bar to look like The Continental. They do a good job with the decor. The guy checking us in noticed I was wearing a JW t-shirt to mimic the suit & tie & complimented my "Kevlar Model" outfit. Bonus points for recognizing the movie promo merch. The cocktail waitress walking around was friendly, but sadly upon speaking with her she had never seen any JW movies... umm that should be a prerequisite to work the JWE. After looking over the drink menu my eye caught the Blantons. If you've seen any JW films, you know this is John's drink. I was not going to drink but figured it would be a nice memory to pair to the experience. I'll have a shot of Blanton's please. Listed on menu in the mid 20's. She goes to the bar, speaks with the bartender & returns "I'm sorry, the price in the menu is wrong." Ok, so what is the price? "More than double that." I think it ended being high 40's so I said no thank you. This was a very bad way to do this. If your menu is wrong, you honor it the one time for your customer as it was not their fault, advise it was wrong & then you can change it later. Big ball to drop right there. An entire 750ml bottle is about $100-$150 so the mid 20's is a fairly marked up per shot price in most high end places as it was. The bellhop walking around the lobby was excellent! She didn't speak much but conveyed a presence that was just executed perfectly. Wish I got her name to shout her out. Once we got a text that it was our time to start, approx 20 min after checking in, we headed to the elevator to start the tour. There is no phone usage allowed during the tour. No pictures or video except in the bar areas which is entirely understandable & expected. You'll go through several rooms about half a dozen each with their own mini storylines & actors. There's an escape room type vibe to a few of them. The rooms with actors include the tailor, the arms room for weapons, a visit to the manager, a gun range, the bowery king & a casino room. One room showcases the old school bounties. Everyone in your party will have their name with their bounty on display. Very cool. Feedback to Staff: Having the marker during the manager visit should come back around later. Maybe give the marker to the person at the end who participated as a thank you tie in. The shooting gallery portion was kind of blah. No scoring, just shoot & then rush out?!? That can definitely be improved. Bowery King portion, this can be sped up a bit, kind of dragged. I was behind the wall but heard inside the van is not air conditioned & not fun. There really is not an ending... you just end up at a second bar after the bowery king hides you... then when you leave the second bar you go into the gift shop. The Gift Shop was just ok. Merch was very limited & as much of a fan of the series as I am, nothing called out "You must buy this!" so I left empty handed. Overall, it was fun but not amazing. Fix your menu prices for drinks & make sure your staff has at least seen one of the films. Kind of sucked you couldn't book your time slots for different experience bundled if buying the packages online. Area 15 related more than JWE specific but still noteworthy as it's all under the Area 15 umbrella. I was going to give a 3, but the actors in each room & bellhop tried their best so for their efforts it's a 4 Star. read more

Amazing experience! Must visit when you are in town. Please be sure to watch the movies for some clues :)

My son wanted to come here after dinner on his 16th birthday. It was our first escape room we've ever did. overall it was a cool experience, but I did feel like 12 people was a bit much 10 would've been perfect for some of the little spaces that we were in. One thing I could tell you is make sure you exercise your trigger finger before you do this experience ,You'll know what I'm talking about when you do this experience. read more

So much fun! We are locals, so we got to park for free. The entire experience was so much fun and detailed. We started off with drinks at the bar. When our "room" was ready we headed to the elevator with a group. It was my husband and I and we were in a group of 10 others. Everyone was a super fun and into it. The live actors are a trip! They pick on you so don't get offended. Overall, a super fun time. read more

Didn't know what to expect from this and couldn't find any info on it online anywhere. The set up was very cool. Once you step inside with the actors, you feel like you are immersed into the movie. A couple of the scenes were interactive and I got chosen to do a bunch of things with the actors so that was cool. The shooting at the screen was a big dragged out and the weight of the gun was getting heavy and the dirty dark van part was confusing and unnecessary. The figuring out of the puzzles like an escape room was fun and so was the laser spy scene. The end where they let us out was confusing also because we didn't know if the experience was still going or if we just got let out to a bar. The cocktails were decent. The John Wick experience was absolutely awesome! The actors and actresses were incredible at what they do, and the entire experience felt extremely immersive. It's not just a walk-through where you observe. you actually get to participate as a character, which truly makes you feel like you're part of the movie. I honestly wish it was longer than 45 minutes! Definitely try this activity if it's included in your Area15 package. read more
