Hunter was my service advisor, and made sure I was kept in the loop at every stage. Their online portal was incredibly helpful, and allows you to receive real time updates as well as select which services to approve based on the technician's recommendations. Everything was very efficient and well communicated. I didn't catch his name, but the gentleman driving the shuttle on 8/20 was very kind! He texted me when he was on his way, and was there to pick me up within 10 minutes. This was such a great perk and alternative to taking an Uber or Lyft! The associates that closed me out were also very kind and helpful. They made sure to go over everything that was completed, as well as provided me with recommendations for services I may need in the future. Overall a very easy and comfortable experience for a girl that knows very little about cars! Highly recommend!

I took my Highlander SUV to Toyota of Newnan for the first 70,000 miles, as my car had an extended…read morewarranty. Never had a problem - great vehicle. But once the warranty ended, I had my oil changed closer to my home. Then I received a coupon in the mail for a great oil change deal, so I went back. The service dept. leaves something to be desired IMO, esp if you are a single female who knows nothing about cars. First, they found a cracked boot. I got a second opinion closer to my house and Toyota was 1/2 the price. Or so I thought. I mentioned this to the service writer. Not once did he tell me that the price quoted me was only for 1/2 the axle. I know nothing about cars & I feel that he just wanted me to get the job done there, knowing full well that the other quote I received was for a FULL axle. The work was done & the price was as quoted EXCEPT for a $95 shop charge. This WAS NOT part of the original estimate. This is super shady - will not be going back EVER.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Transmissions by Joe. I bought my truck new…read morefrom the dealership in 2004 and it had never let me down until now. My wife and I were stranded on the road and had to call a tow truck. I had my truck towed to a shop and was told I needed a new transmission and it would be $2900. I took my truck to Transmissions by Joe for a second opinion. Right from the first call "Jim" was extremely helpful and listened to my concerns. He told me they would evaluate the problem and figure it out. I stopped by their shop after closing time to drop off the truck and was surprised to find Jim still at the front desk. Even though it was past closing, he took a ride with me in the truck to hear the problem. He suggested that the issue could be a faulty transmission filter (I had recently replaced it myself). Jim also offered to give me a ride home, so I didn't have to wait for my wife to pick me up! One day after dropping off the truck, Jim called and said it was fixed. I was in disbelief. He said they dropped the transmission pan and replaced the filter. The filter was defective like he had thought. My truck runs as good as new and it did not cost me a fortune! I highly recommend Transmissions by Joe for great people and honest work.
