This guy did everything but the catalytic converter and was charged 400.00 in an hour time my engine light was back on, call him back to look at and scheduled for him to return on Monday at 11am, checked with him an hour before and he stated his wife had a doctor appointment and will come as soon as she's done, 3 hours later I hadn't heard from him so I text to get an update on his e.t.a, no response. I wished I would have read these reviews before going forward. Hope I can save the next person, please do not use this company. After I went for a second opinion and learned that my catalytic converter needed to be replaced, so not only did he did not do the job he was hired to do but stated he changed the sparks plugs and didn't let me know what work he was doing. But they charged me a lot of money! This place is not trustworthy and if you have a high-end car, they will charge you based on that high-end car and not fix the problem. I am not sure what the problem is with these people (maybe they don't like certain people) but something is suspicious about them. I contend that they didn't switch out the parts and just charged me for that issue because you will have the same problem. You can take your chances with them but I would look into another place to avoid the risk. I am not sitting here and the problem has gotten worse. Although I called to complain yet again, they were comfortable with me just contacting the authorities to try to resolve the issue. Make up your mind about using them, but in my opinion, I wouldn't. "They won" in my case, but caveat emptor (Let the buyer beware). Your money is hard-earned so go to someone you trust. Or, just take your chances!

I was in and out in under 45 minutes--my 10 am appointment was honored, and the service was quick! The waiting area was surprisingly nice for an auto shop, with comfortable seating and a TV. The facility and restrooms were also very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out simple. I especially appreciate that they were honest and didn't try to upsell me on any extra repairs. When Steve and Brianna arrived he showed me the new parts that would be used to do the repairs. I was amazed how Steve took apart the engine so fast and replace the water pump and timing chain. After reading many reviews I decided to visit RPM and I have no regrets. An appointment is recommended and I usually call at least 2 weeks in advance because it's a popular small business. Recently I visited for an oil change and my car was ready in 28 minutes. I could instantly tell the difference in how my vehicle was driving. I was also informed that my vehicle looked good and only concern may be rear breaks and they would look at it during the next oil change. The oil change sticker was placed on my window so I have a reminder on when to visit next. Although it's a little drive from my home, I will continue to get my car serviced here.  Friendly service, consistent and quality work at an affordable price.

Kevin shared that he was at risk of losing his job and was a lead tech, although listed as the owner. 'Management' also contacted and asked that I take the review down and offered to refund the labor. At this point (2 days later) I had already taken the vehicle to the Toyota dealer, as his 'management' advised the vehicle was complex and initially declined looking at the vehicle without another charge. Toyota Diagnosis: improper fitting and installed spark plugs. Cost: 98$ inspection- which was deducted from repair cost. Repair cost total, including one day vehicle rental, 468.79$. I reached back out to Kevin and 'Management', via text and email, three consecutive days- excluding Sunday, explaining the outcome and requesting a partial refund (spark plugs, diagnosis, and labor). I have not received a response and am now seeking civil action. Receipts attached. Again, the purpose of this review is to bring awareness.

I brought my car in to have the front bumper replaced, and was **never told** it would cost an additional \$1,500-\$2,000 to have it painted. I was in constant contact with Juan (owner's son), and I totally feel as if he took advantage of me. When I arrived to pick my car up and saw that UGLY bumper, I was floored! And oh, he was VERY apologetic for "not telling me" the bumper came primed AFTER I'd already paid them \$1,100, but made zero effort, ZERO attempt to make it right and retain my business. He had the nerve to say out of his mouth, "Ma'am, we wanted to do our best to save you money and get your back to you as soon as possible." What??!! I am no dummy. I know what primed means. I know that many exterior car part replacements come primed, which is why I texted Juan while they still had my car to request a quote to replace my passenger-side mirror and SPECIFICALLY asked for a bottom line that includes the cost to paint it which, by the way, was a ridiculous amount! He actually tried to tell me it was that expensive because they have to 'program' it. Goodbye! What hurts even more is that I truly believe I was treated differently -- and unfairly -- because I came in alone as a woman. The lead mechanic/owner is very good at fixing what immediately needs to be fixed and outlining what has more time before it needs to be addressed. This helps me managing repairs over time instead of being hit with an astronomical bill. Most shops try to get you for every bit of work they can get in while they have your attention. J & C is not in the business of fixing every item that needs repair on your car if there is life on item they will make you aware and let you determine if you want to move forward.
