They not only completed the oil change at a lower cost than competitors, they pinned a flap that was falling off the bottom and inspected the vehicle for no additional charge. Turns out I had a ball joint which was loose on their inspection. They repaired it the next day at a fraction of cost compared to competitors in the area and now my car drives smoother than ever. Our Honda was seen at Moons twice in 2022. 1st time after Jiffy Lube manager and employees recommended getting struts replaced immediately. Moon looked and found nothing wrong and sent me home. 2nd time the oil light was on which was odd since Jiffy Lube at 1605 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060 had changed the oil a few weeks before. Moon found no leaks and almost no oil. Jiffy Lube had emptied my old oil, then added less than the 5 quarts. Moon added oil and our problem was solved. My friends referred me and Ill be going back to Moon's for oil changes and more on our Honda. read more

My family were on the way to Six Flags when a heater hose fitting burst on I-20. I was able to repair the hose, but the car continued to have problems. I was able to get the car to Moon's where one of their mechanics fixed the car and got us on the road again. This was huge! We were 110 miles from home on the day before a national holiday. It was looking like a significant issue. Their garage was full. The mechanic "SB" stepped up and offered to help. Moon's and their mechanic in particular saved the day. At the advice of AAA, I took my car to one of their partnering service centers for repair, Moon's Service Center, Inc. They seemed cordial and respectful when I first dropped the car off. However, things changed when I spoke with them over the phone. They called me to give me an estimate, but transferred me three times, each time seemingly without knowing who they were speaking with and about what. No one also seemed knowledgeable about what the issues were regarding my vehicle and seemed to change their story each time I was transferred. By the end of the first phone conversation, they said they would get back to me with a proper estimate. After not hearing from them, I called them near close of business the following day and they told me they did not have a car by that description. Then, they said they had it but they had taken it out of their system because they said they wouldn't be able to fix it, which seems to be a lie because they said they could the day prior and had dealt with other cars with the same issue. Additionally, they had made the decision on the prior day, but did not let me know until I felt the need to call them near the end of the following business day. I also expressed my concern that they would charge me for storing my car on their lot, even though they didn't notify me since the day before when they made the determination. They said they don't do that, but we'll see. Since it was near the end of the business day, I told them I would have it towed on the following day. We'll see how that pans out. In the future, I will not be going to service centers through AAA and I especially discourage anyone from going to Moon's Service Center. read more

One night, I left work at 11PM, and the car wouldn't start. Uh oh. Jumping the car didn't work, so I left it until the next morning and decided to try to push start it and get it to the nearest shop. I checked Google for the nearest shop figuring I needed to get the car running ASAP, and found Moon's. I called them explaining that I probably had a dead starter, and they assured me that they could get it looked at that afternoon. We got the car started and brought it right over. I was quoted $90 for a diagnostic test and $350 if it turned out to be the starter, which checked out as a fair price. Not 30 minutes after dropping the car off, they called back and explained that the only problem was corrosion between the battery and the starter. $50 and a couple hours later I was on my way. I can't recommend this shop enough. I'm an"alternative" looking woman (mohawk, piercings, tattoos) and always brace for the worst when going into car shops but these guys were very friendly and professional. They only get 1 star because I can't give them none. I thought they would be good because they were on my AAA list. I took my car to get my breaks replaced early December 2014. After that my horn didn't work and the under section of my car fell down and was scraping he road. I took my car back to them and explained the issue and they claimed there was nothing that they could have done on either of those issues. Now just over a year later in December of 2015 I took my car to my usual mechanic(60 miles away from where I currently live) and it turns out the caliber was not reinstalled property and I need new breaks again. I probably do 15k-20k miles a year on my car, and the breaks should have lasted much longer than that. read more

Recently moved here from NY and was taken advantage of by a dealership to fix emission problem with our KIA regarding the "check engine light" to have GA inspection done. After I was robbed of $275 from a KIA dealership only to be told that if engine light was on upon driving home from them that it may be something else? They actually thought I would return and pay again? I called Moons and spoke to the svc. manager due to living so close to them. I told him my horror story and he had immediately put me at ease by saying if he couldn't find the problem to fix it, there would be no charge. I took the car over and left it in their care. They called the same day and said that they had found the problem and would fix it as well as inspect it. It was wonderful to move here and have someone unknown to us be so professional at what they did. We had both our vehicles inspected there. I have since reported the KIA dealership to our Credit card as being fraudulent due to the transaction. I am only renting in Mableton. If we move out of the area, my husband has already stated that he would still drive back for Moon's svc. center. Thanks again Moon's for a Job well done! :) read more

I was having electrical problems out my van so i took it to Moon service center and I told them to take a look at my charging system. To see why my car making a clicking sound and not starting and they told me it was going to be 45 dollars. I said ok once they got done with checking my vehicle he said it will be 511.83 for everything and it had two problems one was the alternator. And one of the battery terminals was no good and I asked him how much is just for the alternator to be change out he said 302.00 dollars. I said I wanted him to change just that out and I will get the other stuff. It need another time he said ok but when he called me saying the car ready I went up there with my four kids ready to get the van he say it was going to be 511.83. And I said I thought I told you I just want the alternator put in then he goes to tell me about 302.00 was just for the alternator and its 150.00 for labor and this and that I said why you didn't tell me that on the phone and I left man walking back in the heat with my four kids. I feel it was a total rip off cause I even called around auto shops and got the pricing on new alternators and the highest I got was 171.50 so if someone please get back with me on this thanks for your assistance in this matter. read more
