(Edit: the staff is very nice and they did offer me a discount for not catching the problem the first time. But my review and rating is about automotive repair not customer service) Update to previous entry. Did not fix my original issue. The reason I had brought my car here back in December was because 1 brake pad wore out [rear passenger side]. They had replaced my rear brake pads and rotors and then the same thing happened again last weekend, 4 thousand miles later. This time they replaced both calipers. They did give me a discount on some of the work but I've spent almost $700 on replacing parts not fully convinced they've diagnosed the issue.

They call me back with a $3300 estimate for rear brakes, rack and pinion replacement and several other items. They never revealed what any of those items had to do with the leak. I stupidly told them to go ahead. Got it back and the rear brakes made a horrible noise. Took it back and had them re-fix their work. Two days later the coolant leak was back. Called and asked for the manager to call me-he never did. I ended up trading my car in to avoid another $1000+ repair to fix the actual leak. Horrible experience.

After the service was complete, and I picked up the vehicle I noticed there were a new few issues that were not present prior to me dropping the vehicle off. After speaking with the owner Brandon and pointing out the things that were not a problem before, he agreed to have me bring my vehicle back in so that he could have one of his best ASE certified techs look over everything. They found the issue, ordered the needed parts and got the repairs completed at no additional cost! Throughout the process there was constant communication with the status of repairs, and regular updates. Overall, my Wife and I are very satisfied with the service we received and the overall outcome. Brandon is a stand-up guy and his staff are all a great bunch of people! I highly recommend Champs 2 Tires & Service!

*** DO NOT GO HERE; OWNER QUOTED ME $100 TO FIX A FLAT!!!***…read moreEncountering a rumble of nose on my way to work & my api sensor popped on...I got out my car to notice my air was fastly seeping. Instead of waiting for roadside service, thought I would hurry down to this neighborhood tire shop. Upon arriving around 8:38am, since the tire shop was closed I went inside the gas station which is attached to the tire shop...to ask what time the Tire Shop opens? Guy behind the counter said, the owner opens up at 9:30-10am and the 2nd gas station guy said between 10-10:30am. I went back to my car & sat in my vehicle to wait for the owner to come open up the shop. At 9:45am the owner arrives, as he was about to pass my vehicle I asked was he the owner of the shop and he replied, Yes. I happily clapped with excitement in hopes that he can get me back rolling quickly and I could be on my way to work. Sadly, the service here was not up to par...before the guy even looked at my tire...he came to my window & asked "What can I do for you?" I said o have a flat & pointed to the tire with the objective in it that he needed to look at. He immediately, said, "That will be $60!" In my head, I was like...well dang, you didn't even look at the tire. I was like ok, whatever I have to get to work so, I would if paid it. I got out the car, walked around car & he looked didn't see it so, I pointed to the object after he took the tire off. He again, immediately said, "That's going to be $100!" Shocked...I just knew he did not go from $60 then upped it to $100 TO FIX A FLAT!!!! I was like if he think I'm a dummy to pay $100 to fix a flat he's crazy! I said, well how much to put my spare on, he said $15. I said put my spare on! He put my spare on and I manage to go to Discount Tires where I purchased my set from. How about Discount Tires told me...this tire could not be fixed & it wasn't safe for them to repair it because, it would take long for the air to go out or worst! They recommend I get a new tire & they offered $66 toward a $122 tire. Now you you the owner of this shop should be a shame of himself for: 1.) Attempting to get over on a lady (or any customer for that thought) 2.) Putting my life and vehicle at risk for telling me he could fix a flat for $100 If this is the type of business you are offering we don't need your business serving us! Again, if you need a tire shop you may not want to go here if he charges $100 to fix a flat! I bought a brand new tire for $122 from Discount Tires (as a matter of fact I ended up just getting a whole set of tires). If to fix a flat is $100...then dang...how much for a new dang tire...$450?????

When assessing my car for regular maintenance needs (new brake pads and an oil change), he thoroughly investigated my all of my concerns and listened to me. The services my car needed were priced very fairly, and I didn't feel taken advantage of. I have limited knowledge about cars (and LOTS of questions as a result), and Michael took care to address each one of them. He was patient, thoughtful, and so welcoming!
