I took my Nissan Truck to Terrell Brothers last year and they told me they didn't work on foreign cars even though there were two foreign made vehicles there. Today I went there to set an appointment for repair on my Chrysler Pacifica and they told me they didn't work on Chrysler products even though there was a Jeep inside the shop. Exasperated I asked the man " What DO you do here then?" He said" We work on General Motors products." This shop then is more limited than a dealership shop. A Chevy dealership will actually work on my Chrysler. Unless you have a GM vehicle, find another repair shop. read more

This is one of the cleanest shops I have ever been in. That's what drew me to them was the cleanliness on the outside. Once I went to the inside, it was just the same. You could literally eat off of the floor. I said to myself that if they care about that, they probably care about me. Some of the nicest, willing and kind of mechanics that make you feel very comfortable. There's not a better feeling to know that you have these kind of men working on your car or truck. These are the first mechanics I've found in Carrollton who are professional and actually know what they're doing. Mechanics I've worked with in the past couldn't quickly diagnose an issue or properly fix the car. It was always a game of "do this & see what happens". Not the case with Terrel bros. They have a nice shop with a thoughtful and comfortable waiting area (small space heater to keep the area warm in the winter, tv, magazines, comfy couches). The three men I interacted with were nice and polite. They gave me a write up of exactly what they did to the car for my records and they were up front about the pricing. I got my front tire end rotors replaced, new battery cable installed, vacuum hose replaced, and an oil change done for $200. The tire end rotor replacement was the most costly repair. Another thing I was very impressed by was the fact that they actually stuck to the time estimate they gave me for return of the car. I dropped off my car at 8:30am and they told me that it would be ready around 3pm. At 3:03pm, I got a call saying my car was ready! I have never experienced this accurate turnaround time with other mechanics in Carrollton! Other mechanics have always said they would get the car back to me within the day and then at the end of the day, they say they need more time with it and drag it out for three days or more! I was extremely pleased with my experience with the Terrel Bros and will be bringing my car back to them for all of my future car repairs! The only thing is that, word of mouth gets around in Carrollton and people know the Terrel bros are good honest mechanics (they just don't write reviews on Yelp lol) and so these guys are almost always booked. You'll be lucky if you call in and can get an appointment same day. Make sure you call ahead and schedule an appointment several days in advanced. Of course, if you can do a weekday, chances are they're not booked but weekends are pretty tough to get without calling ahead. Because of this, I'm going to have to find a second mechanic for cases where I need immediate car repairs. read more
