Dr. Cho was very reassuring, he explained the procedure to me and took extra steps to keep me comfortable and to make sure the extraction was painless. Dr. Chun Pae Cho, is the best dental surgeon, I have been to more than a few. He removed a bridge and 2 failed implants. He did it quickly and I felt no pain. Run, don't walk away from this office. When I walked into the office, I heard a man screaming for an hour in the back, that's when I should've taken a hint and left. An 80-year-old man walked out, looking quite frail and I couldn't believe that they had put him through such pain. I unfortunately stayed and prayed that would not happen to me. Little did I know I was about to enter the biggest nightmare I've ever encountered. I was referred by an endodontist to this doctor to have a tooth pulled that had been cracked below the gumline and also a bone graft and an eventual implant. I paid extra for IV sedation, because I am very terrified of pain. This was supposedly a routine tooth extraction And the doctor was very kind and assured me that I would not feel any pain. I expected there to be a separate anesthesiologist, but apparently he was the anesthesiologist and the surgeon. I wasn't very comfortable with that but I went ahead with it anyway. At some point the anesthesia wore off and I woke up in the middle of the procedure and basically had the most nightmarish pain And experience of my life. I will have PTSD from this situation for many years to come. I had a slight seizure from the pain, my whole body started shaking, and my arm bent the anesthesia needle so intensely that the needle bent and got stuck in my arm. I don't know if he wasn't paying attention to the anesthesia, and it stopped being administered properly to me but all of a sudden I could feel everything and I started screaming and begging him to stop. The rest of it is a little bit fuzzy, but he apparently gave me another huge dose of anesthesia and was able to finish the job and stitch me up. I stumbled out of the office after paying almost $2000 and couldn't wait to get home. The next part is very depressing. I emailed them several times asking if I could get some sort of refund for the anesthesia that I paid almost $750 extra for. they responded with that they would pay me $325 if I never came to their office again and never contacted them again and not to Expect any follow up care from them. If I had any questions, I could talk to the doctors lawyer. They treated me so horrible and to add insult to injury told me to never come back again. I said that I am recovering from surgery, and I have questions that I am scared, and I am in pain and I am looking to you for help, they didn't even respond. In closing, I initially felt that the doctor was very kind. I don't know what happened to him and I don't know how he could sleep at night knowing that he has treated a patient this way. I don't know if I've been communicating with a front desk manager that does not know how to treat people, but I am horrified that they thought sending me $325 would be fair and to tell me to never contact them again is unconscionable from a healthcare professional. An actual doctor. I feel neglected, abused, completely taken advantage of, and not once did they ever apologize for any of it. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Never ever go to this office I literally thought that I could have died with the amount of anesthesia that they gave me that I've never been so terrified in my life and I don't want anyone else to go through that. This is 2023 and you should never feel pain like that especially when you've paid extra for IV sedation. This should never have happened and the way that they handled it was completely unprofessional and unkind. They should be ashamed of themselves and I hope that they know that I suffer every day with horrible nightmares of what has happened and that emotionally it will take me a while to recover from this. Dr Cho & staff go out of their way to calm you & make you comfortable during what can be scary dental surgery! His assistants are very sweet & even funny as they do their best to get you through! My only critique is it would have been beneficial pre extraction to be told to bring an ice pack w me or better yet be sent home w one as the sooner you apply cold the better to help you not bruise or swell. read more

I was really nervous as I have had past bad dental experiences so I was nervous but this practice made it all go away. My experience at Dr. Cho's office was excellent. I was referred by my dentist for removal of a 3-tooth lower back quadrant bridge, after the back anchor (a wisdom tooth) had rotted and the crown became severed from the root. Dr. Cho carefully cut the bridge off my remaining molar, removed the rotted wisdom tooth root and stitched the overlap, and placed an implant in the middle (empty) space to prepare for a 2nd molar crown. I was nervous, as I have had some bad dental experiences in the past, but he and his staff put me at ease - even asking what music I wanted to hear during the procedure (!) He was meticulous, professional, friendly, good humored, and answered all my questions. Plus, I cannot say enough about dentists who have learned the technique of giving virtually painless shots. I had no complications with healing and Dr. Cho did a thorough follow-up exam. The front office staff was kind and the wait time minimal. My only complaint is that Dr. Cho does not accept dental insurance, but then...it was worth it to get such superior care. read more

Here's the thing. Dentists and doctors should be judged by their work, and their outcomes. Yeah, the front office staff are not particularly pleasant. Maybe, the insurance options are not great. Probably, he is not the cheapest option. And yet, the results speak for themselves. Know what? He does excellent work, that passes the test of time. I've had multiple procedures in his office, and over the past 3-5 years, all of them turned out to be successful, lasting, and complication free. What more can you ask of a dental surgeon? If I need his services again, no question, I'm coming straight to his office with no concerns, or worries, or reservations. Does this sound like a paid for glowing review? Maybe. 'Cept it isn't. I'm a very, very satisfied, paid in cash customer. And since I'm paying out of pocket, I'm pretty damn demanding. Fact is, I've had terrible dentists, and terrible doctors, and when you find ones that know what they're doing, and do it well, that's pure gold. For me, DiGregorio has been fantastic, and I'd recommend him without a second thought. read more

I saw Dr. DiGregorio at the recommendation of my primary dentist to have an overfilled root canal corrected (the filling had breached my sinus cavity). While I wasn't thrilled that the office didn't take insurance, I *am* thrilled with how the my experience has gone thus far. I am a very nervous patient and Dr. DiGregorio and his staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. He has excellent bedside manner, and really took his time to discuss my options and make sure I understood what he was doing. The office staff and nurses were all as patient and kind as could be with me. I am currently recovering from having the filling removed from my sinus cavity. I am in far less pain than I was in following the overfilled root canal, which seems impossible to me. I trust that my post-op appointment will be as positive as all my others.
