Unfortunately, John Montillo is barely responsive and I would not recommend this company based on…read moremy experience. Montillo was hired by my management company to inspect and repair our building's emergency lights. John didn't know if he'd already sent out an electrician to our building when I reached out to him. Then he suddenly says on the same day that I reached out that the job was done. I've asked for an inspection/repair report since July and have received nothing. I've updated our portal work order which John has access to, I've called and texted, he just won't pick up or respond now. Montillo's already been paid for the job that no one in my building saw happen, so I guess he does not care. $900+ dollars to inspect a 4 unit building. Unsure if there were any repairs. I don't have proof of inspection for the Fire Safety department. I don't understand the good reviews, I am really not asking for much!

The next apartment renovation will be kicking off in a few months and Paps Electric (and his professional team) will be my first call.

5/5 Stars - Highly Recommend Gazmir and Kron Electric!…read more Gazmir did an absolutely phenomenal job diagnosing and fixing a dangerous electrical issue for us. Our water heater wasn't getting enough power, and we noticed an active crackling sound coming from the external disconnect box. Gazmir arrived promptly and immediately identified the root causes: a melted switch, an overcrowded metal box that was too small for the heavy wiring, and a completely ungrounded setup. He expanded the box to give the wires the proper breathing room, safely grounded the unit, and installed a brand-new heavy-duty switch. Our hot water is back on and working perfectly, and more importantly, our home is safe. If you want an electrician who is thorough, knowledgeable, and highly professional, look no further than Gazmir at Kron Electric!

They switched out our electrical panel (an old PushMatic panel probably from the 1950-1960s that had no space for new circuits) to a new 200 amp service and modern panel with space for 40 circuits). In addition, we have used them since to wire some new circuits back to the new panel and to add/replace old outlets Overall, I would highly recommend them to any homeowner in need of professional electrical work in northern New Jersey. Bruce, the owner was very responsive and quick to get us quotes, explain the service options in detail, and always had someone out at our property in a fast amount of time. The professional value at an affordable price point was great, and I never felt over-priced or cheated with the high quality of work that was done. Estimates were very prompt and well explained. Stanley Electric has since become our goto electrician, and I 100% trust them to help keep the "lights on", and safely; and to serve me and my family's electrical needs well into the future.

Yesterday, the outlets in two of our bedrooms and a bathroom went out. It was weird since the…read morelights in the rooms still worked. We unplugged everything, checked the breaker, nothing seemed to work even after we reset the breaker. We started to email electricians that night. One responded that they would call in the morning, which they did not. The other never responded. This morning I sent messages to three electricians. The first, which is this one, requested for me to call. When I spoke with Scott, he said that he would try to do a walk-through troubleshoot with me over the phone, to see what the issue is and if I could fix it myself to save some money since it may be an easy fix. As I explained everything to him, he realized that the situation may need his expertise and stated that he would have to come over to find what the problem could be. He also stated that he would not charge me to troubleshoot and give me an estimate. He came within the hour, checked the breaker and checked an outlet in the bathroom which was a GFCI outlet. He immediately stated that he believed it was the outlet that caused the issue, and proceeded to address it. I didn't care for an estimate, I just wanted it to work again so I never asked for the price and he never gave it. Although he had to step out to go to Lowe's to get another outlet, he got the job done within an hour. He also separated the outlet wires so that if that if that one went bad in the future it wouldn't affect the other two bedrooms. He was a pleasure to speak with, super friendly, and professional. He came with his mask on and was ready to work. I am not sure how much a job like this would cost but he charged us less than $200. Now that we have a home of our own, we were looking to add home repair professionals to our Rolodex in case we needed work done on our house. He has now been added to that Rolodex. Thanks Scott!
