I've always liked it's long shape, it's brightly light atrium area for dining or reading, it's overall cleanliness, and the shops who call it home: specifically Wild Oats (one of favorite eateries in the entire state of Maine), Indrani's (where the intoxicating smell I'm obsessed with originates; it's a really cool shop specializing in globally inspired/sourced/imported home goods, gifts, clothing, jewelry, etc.), and one entrance into Eveningstar Cinema (an intimate, artsy, single screen indie movie theater that is charming and unique and smells of deliriously rich popcorn). I just feel like this spot is a frozen moment in time in the best way possible. Bathrooms available immediately upon entering, and down the flight of the stairs to the cinema. There's always parking available right in front on Maine Street. Basically... please never change, Tontine.

I attended an event here this weekend which was the first time I had been in the new space and was very impressed by the results. They refused to inspect and check in the lift. So I ended up driving away. So Home Depot lied and told a customer they were available to be picked up today , then when driving in they said they were not available because they had not been inspected. What a pathetic joke of staff. When calling the store to complain to the store manager that he has serious disrespectful staff (I don't appreciate being lied to the wasting my time for their lie) I was attempted to be redirected to the rentals depts. The under-liner of the sofa was ripped in a way the suggested it was damaged in shipping. It did not affect the comfort so I asked them to fix it instead of replacing it. They promptly did just that. They stapled in 3 gauzy cloth panels, each of different color, using short staples which fell out after 4 days. No big deal compared to the problems we had with the chair as reported in another review. I suggest having them replace stuff if you have the same problem. Also beware of buying off the floor as their warranty policy is murky.

Found some delicious treats and said hello to all the farmers that I haven't seen since last fall. I love this place. The farmers and vendors are always so kind and helpful and there to answer any questions you might have. Having the market in this spot, is nice because it's a beautiful park so lush and green! Plus you can grab lunch at a variety of local food trucks.
