Finally, as the spring season is officially upon us, I went in looking for some larger pots to give my kids room to grow, some soil, and of course some new kids. I will say that as of my first two visits, they were just starting to set up the outdoor nursery area which looks huge. Their indoor area for plants is on the smaller side, though there are still a fair amount of things to choose from if you're not too picky on what you pick up. Prices seemed fair. The entrance had a lot of larger "fancy" ceramic/clay pots which were marked at 50% off listed price. I was told by the owner that they get them in bulk pretty regularly which is why they are able to discount them so much. I picked up a couple. The inside of the store has the more ordinary terra cotta pots. Some fancier ones, but not an extraordinary amount. There's a huge area dedicated to gardening supplies, mostly of the growing persuasion (feed, seed, pesticides, soil, etc, as well as gardening equipment) It's a cute little shop and if you're looking for fairly basic stuff this place will have it. There's a fair amount of craftsy decorative stuff in the front as well. All the people I've encountered are friendly. I'll definitely be back.

When Mr. Marion delivered- he threw open the van doors and I felt my eyes tear up. Those were the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen. If your heart is full to overflowing because of kindness and beauty, everything else just falls into place. That is what Fiddleheads florist shop did for us a long way from home. We are all still swooning over those arrangements. I kept one for myself to enjoy at our air b&b- and it was still so beautiful three days after the wedding that I knocked on a neighbors door and offered it to her. And those that remained still seemed stuck in 1980's funereal-style arrangements... lots of mums or stargazers and filler. But Yelp helped me narrow down a few possibilities. And I was super delighted to find Fiddlehead Florals! Fiddlehead Florals checked off all my boxes... gorgeous & modern design with beautiful, sustainably-sourced and seasonal/local flower selections; excellent and easy customer service over the phone where the designer (I think owner?) listened to what I hoped to have delivered and helped me arrive at my final decision; and they worked all of this within my targeted budget without trying to just upsell me at their sales target. I found their prices very reasonable for the service, delivery, and of course their selection of beautiful flowers. Since this is a 10th Anniversary, I wanted something dramatic, colorful, and seasonal. I called with almost 2 weeks lead time, and my requested delivery to outside the Portland area was no problem. The florist who took my call was cheerful, gracious, and incredibly helpful in my decision making. We decided upon a designers choice featuring a strong peony base as these were now apparently in season (plus I knew the couple loved them). Extra Pride commendation to Fiddlehead Florals as being super accommodating for my requests for this arrangement for my gay besties celebrating a 10 year marriage milestone. Love wins!

Horrible service. The owner was rude and snooty. After…read morehooking her door open I asked "is it okay to come in?" She snapped back "I guess!" I say "I can wait if you need me to" "nope! Come in". So I do, awkwardly, feeling like I'm an inconvenience but wondering why she hooked her door open at all. After browsing for a few moments while she prepares out back, she returns. I shyly ask if it's okay to take any pictures as I was going to use her beautiful space that I love for a presentation at school, (horticulture). She frantically throws up her hand telling me no and acting really frantic. I understand hard days, and I understand stress, but for the love of your community, keep your door locked on days where you just can't be bothered. I threw out any desire to feature her store or purchase any of the great items I saw around me and got out of there as fast as possible.
