He is kind, patient, always spends an appropriate amount of time discussing current issues and treatment plan, he's gentle and careful with procedures and explains every step so you aren't taken by painful surprise, works with me in all my research when I ask about trying this or that as I'm very involved in my healthcare. He's great and I highly recommend him - and my husband and daughter go to him now as well. Note- as with all pain mgmt doctors insurance requires physical therapy and cortisone injections before further treatments can be tried. So don't blame that on the doctor!! And don't quit going because cortisone doesn't work - there are other treatments if you will continue.

It breaks my heart when I have to leave them to be closer to home. I know the new endo will be fine but no one will be Dr. Bivens and I mean that. And, Jan, his nurse that comes into the appointment each time is tops. Also, the nurses that he has had through the years have been great, always on top of everything and with kindness and grace. They have ordered my Libre2 supplies and made sure everything was/is running smoothly. The lab technicians are so competent also. I thank you, Dr. Carl Bivens and nurses, staff members, and technicians for your fine care for my diabetic needs. God bless you always! Love you all.

Dr. Wiseman was an excellent & smart doctor. He helped me in many ways that regular family doctors…read morecould not. He also delivered both of our girls. He was just a wonderful ob-gyn. He would have made a great family doctor too. He discovered that I had thyroid issues for which he was treating me until insurance company had to stick their big fat nose in and I had to start going to a family doctor. I am so tired of having to get permission from these insurance companies before you can do this or that. Maybe these doctors ought to slice you open and send you home before you get stitched back up and see how you feel. There might be a lot of mind changing. Sadly, Dr. Wiseman passed away and I sure miss his big smile. He was so friendly. There will never be another Dr. like him. RIP Dr. Wiseman.

I'm also quite impressed he studied about my muscular dystrophy and is on top of every aspect of my treatment plan. It's nice to not have to explain everything each time I come in.
