We are the fortunate owners of a John Allen custom spec home in Angels Camp, which we purchased in August 2018. Making a very long story short, we resumed our 3-year long search for our "forever" home on a Thursday, saw the listing for this house on Saturday, and made a full-price offer after viewing the stunning home on Sunday. We are overwhelmed by the quality of the workmanship found throughout the home. The exterior design of the home is gorgeous and includes eye-catching corrugated metal trim work that we've never seen used on a home before. The interior is striking, with incredible features that include interior doors with the same design as that of the front door, custom kitchen and bathroom cabinetry including a pantry, 9' tall ceilings throughout with a vaulted ceiling on the first floor, soft-close drawers, cupboards, and toilet seats, high-quality stainless steel appliances and a huge farm sink in the kitchen, beautiful fixtures, ceiling fans in every room, and truly amazing granite in the kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms. The open-concept main floor includes a fabulous kitchen island, concrete floors, an entry foyer, spaces for separate living and dining areas, and unobstructed, non-stop views of Bear Mountain and oak-studded hills to the west and more oak-studded hills to the east. The upstairs has two guest bedrooms, the master, and a fourth closet-less room used as a den, all of which have great views.
