First time going to this Joey's. The ambiance was okay, it was nothing "special". Our server was Dorjan and he didn't best he could, but we noticed that drinks a deserts were not served at the same time. In both cases half the table got served and the other didn't. I Kobe Joey's food, but I've also complained that the portions are on the small side.

One of the best happy hours! Daily 2-5pm and some locations also have 9pm to close on certain days. My family ordered of the happy hour: steak frites, guacamole, chicken lettuce wraps and a few drinks. I got my absolute favourite meal the chicken katsu salad. While it's not on the happy hour, it is 100% worth ordering anytime. The guacamole is phenomenal and you will never regret ordering the chicken lettuce wraps!! Consistently good food! We were offered complimentary sparkling wine on arrival which was a nice welcome. I'll never say no to lunch or dinner at Joeys

Staff was attentive. Perhaps since we started with a bottle of wine and other mixed drinks for 4? Eventually we did order a 2nd bottle. We had a great time and I'm always fan of Joey's. It's an easy mid-level chain restaurant located on the North-West corner of the mall. Starters were fair. We got the hummus but swapped for corn chips for a gluten free option, parm fries, gyozas and mini steak French dips. All easy, well plated and tasty. For the mains, we all had various steak options. We ordered Joeys classic steaks. The potatoes were served as spring rolls with mash inside - very interesting. Not sure if I'm a fan or not, but interesting indeed. I opted for the steak and ravioli bianco. Steak was prepared to a proper rare and the shrimp on top of the ravioli were good but nothing to rave about. I enjoyed the ravioli the most. Steak and sushi was also ordered, my friend seemed happy with her plate. What did surprised me was that the blue rare option was available, for those who are brave enough. The desserts were good. I enjoyed the molten lava - came with raspberries, raspberry compote and vanilla ice cream. All in all it was a great dinner. Decor was nice, though dusty (looking up at the massive chandeliers over the bar). The washrooms access is via stairs isn't fun and annoying when they have people waiting are blocking the elevators. Three of the stalls didn't have toilet paper. Facilities need a bit of attention.

Honestly, I'm here all the time at this point, I think that speaks for itself! The food is consistently great, and I can't get enough. If you haven't tried the happy hour menu you're missing out. And for just $25, the Fritz is a steal! Definitely a place I keep coming back to.

. would not recommend going to this location . booked a table for 4 online . after we were seated it took us THIRTY MINUTES for us to even meet our server . another 15 mins to get water and take our order . ADDITIONAL 40 MINS for our food (and as one of our friends were fasting, having to wait the extra minutes did not help them, as we planned our reservation in accordance with the time to break their fast) . i asked for the steak to be medium well, but they might've misheard me, as i got a medium raw back. completely red through out . its not a biggie to have to send it back but... definitely a first time trying my steak that uncooked . as my friend was eating fries OFF the plate the waiter took ALL the plates away, including the one they were still eating from . we also ordered nachos and a matcha mojito, nacho servings were okay matcha mojito was again interesting- matcha not the strongest flavour more just carbonated lemon water . maybe due to our young appearance? we were last to be served and didnt get priority or notice for anything, we understand it is busy but we notice all the tables around us still getting adequate attention, aswell as we're a bigger party but get seated at the smallest table . overall... crazy experience and would recommend ANY OTHER joeys

It always great to visit any of JOEY's for dinner / outing. The customer service is good as always but as it was a busy night so slight bits of delays. Food quality is good as always mouth watering taste which satisfies the hunger.

Whenever I come hereto eat it's always delicious and fresh food . Today they gave us wine while we waited to be seated . We ordered steak with Fries, katsu salad and lettuce chicken wraps . Ambiance is super good .

Is it just me or has Joey really stepped up on their food? To be fair I'm not sure if I want to Joey and us in the past few years to really compare but I've been going to Joey once a month or every other month this past year and every time it's been really good. I would usually start off with a few appetizers like their avocado and corn dip, which is basically just guacamole and chips and that has been consistently delicious along with their truffle fries which remains on par with places like cactus club. Really good! I've been getting the blackened chicken lately, and the chicken is really juicy and nicely spiced with a little kick to it and it comes on a bed of smash roasted potatoes, which are crispy on the outside and beautifully dressed in this delicious zesty sauce, with a side of some type of kale cabbage slaw, which is super flavourful as well, and a nice balance to the starchiness of the potatoes and the chicken. The time before last I went to the Eaton Center, Joey location and I had the Katsu chicken salad, and that was super fresh and delicious and juicy as well. Four out of five times when upon entering a Joey location we get greeted with a complementary glass of sparkling wine while we wait for our table to get ready which is a really nice way to start our dining experience. I will say that most locations seem to be slightly understaffed, but the service has always been really friendly. And the decor is really nice honestly. At this location. They're a few artefacts of different places in Toronto like the table I was sitting out, was facing a wall that hung a extremely large ask that came from the very first Fairmont hotel in Toronto. Honestly, any Joey location that's close by has been my go to spot for an easy to please crowd because it has such a diverse menu and really delicious food and ambience.

Great place to eat! I come here mostly for the appetizers. They have a wide selection of food options. It can be very crowded at times, so if you're planning to come I would recommend reserving a table prior. Clean and quick service.

Went here with a friend and she recommended this place !! It was really pretty, busy and very loud .. we couldn't hear each other well! Service was mediocre.. the staff was not veey attentive to our needs Rhey had to re-mix my drink 3 times before I was satisfied after so many warnings. My Mediterranean chicken rice bowl was good the seasoning was awesome just the actual chicken was very dry so inedible. The hummus was way too acidic .. it was alright but not sure it's worth the price, In all fairness, not too sure I'll be back here.. unless the menu changes.. happy hour was mediocre not too many available options.. my friend has a gluten allergy and had barely any options available for her on the happy hour menu. Staff was not understanding either.. pretty mediocre..

I have been to this Joey about 5 times now and have not been disappointed once. The service is outstanding, the hostess offers you sparkling wine (non alcoholic) to the table when they bring you in. I always get seated by the patio area which has a lot of light coming through during the day. They have a second floor in this Joey which you can ask for if you wish. Washrooms are upstairs. I always order Ravioli Bianco when I come here. I don't eat that much usually and I always devour this. I can't get enough! The tangy taste in the sauce is addicting and they put enough shrimp with your ravioli, great ratio! I always come here to order this and have never been disappointed once. I look forward to more Joey meetups with my friends and family!

Amazing Italian Donuts with custard + lemon filling underneath (9/10 because should have equal number of raspberries to donuts)

Watching it, it reminded me of Shanghai and their clubs with all the lights, and electric music. Immediately I was excited! So I called them and made a reservation on Monday for Friday for 5 people. I got in contact with Alex, the manager, he set us up for Friday and answered any question I had. As this place is very new, there weren't many images or a website set up when I found them, and I was still unsure if they were open due to COVID. But they are open! I informed my girls of this place, they were thrilled and our group quickly turned from 5 to 7. Luckily, I called Leng Keng back asking if I could increase the size of my party & they were able to accommodate me! During our reservation: Coming to the place, the exterior isn't the most attractive setting. But as we looked past it, inside was just like the video that I had seen. It took me back to the time I was out with my expat friends in Shanghai club hopping. Covid protocols: Since we're still in a pandemic, Leng Keng had great protocols emplaced. As we showed our IDs to security, we signed in with our name and phone numbers. Once inside, there were masks & hand sanitizer available at the door. The tables were well distanced and people would stay within their allocated booths. The atmosphere of Leng Keng is extremely beautiful, nothing like I've ever seen in other Toronto bars/lounges/clubs. The lights are constantly moving & changing colours very beautifully as electric music plays in the background. We were greeted by very nice servers that showed us to our table. Once seated, we were able to take in the place more, & my friends were truly impressed by the place. For food we ordered Calamari and French Fries to share. For drinks we ordered Cosmos, Rum & Coke, Margaritas & a couple shots of Vodka. Everything tasted well, besides the Calamari that was slightly too fishy, the Margaritas didn't come with limes or salt on the rim of the cup. Other than that, this place was magnificent & we do believe Leng Keng has great potential in being the next trending spot in Toronto. We will be back soon! Thank you!

I ordered one drink for myself and the two of us ordered two basic egg dishes (an omelette and classic breakfast with practically no substitutions and requests). We then waited almost an hour, even though the restaurant was only half full. No one informed us of any delays, and when I mentioned I was in a rush for an appointment, the waitress insisted the food was "10 minutes away," which wasn't true. When I later directly asked the waitress to cancel the order and bring the cheque just for the drink, her apology felt insincere and was followed by a defensive explanation rather than accountability ("I wasn't aware you were in a rush"). At that point, I didn't really want to argue, I just wanted to pack up the food that finally came (although it was strangely already cold) and pay. We also found it strange that they wanted to charge an extra $1 just to serve the potato sauce on the side, even though it already comes with the dish, which we found to be odd This was just a simple dietary accommodation request to not coat potatoes in sauce but only serve a little on the side, we're not asking for anything in addition to the meal. Overall, not worth it.

Every dish had an excellent presentation. We spent a lot of time taking photos and videos. What did you expect from me?! We loved all the dishes! The portions were large! There are more staff than in the previous location, allowing the service to be excellent. They tend to have many loyal and returning customers. Every table starts with freshly baked bread and butter. The bread was so fresh! The three appetizers tasted good. They each had a little kick due to creole cuisine. I loved the shrimp the most. The Blackened Lamb Chops was perfectly cooked. Each of the four pieces were very tender, accompanied by a delicious sauce. The dish had some very nicely cooked seasonal vegetables: roasted potatoes, a red pepper, string beans, a broccoli, and a carrot. This dish will be put into their regular menu in the near future. The New Orleans Fisherman's Plate is great if you want a little sampling of their seafood: Blackened Fish, Cajun Calamari, and Coconut Beer Shrimp. It also comes with rice and seasonal vegetables. The fish was so good! We brought some home for my mom and she really loved it. The Coconut Beer Shrimp was on top of a Orange Marmalade Sauce, which is really liked. The three desserts looked really good and tasted good. I loved the pecan pie the most. They can split dishes in half in the kitchen and serve them on two dishes for two people to share. The restaurant uses fresh seasonal ingredients and spices to create authentic Creole and Cajun tastes. Everything is made in-house except for bread and butter. In the near future, their bread will be made in-house too. Currently, there is only indoor dining but they are looking into the possibility of sidewalk outdoor dining. Mike Djurdjevic runs the front of the house while his wife, Mira Djurdjevic, operates the kitchen. Their son, Marko, also helps in the front of the house. There is a large pizza oven at the back of the restaurant. They will be introducing creole pizza in the near future. There is a separate large room for events, parties, etc. This room will be ready in the near future. They also do catering. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible, and one female washroom. Thrre is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2026-037
