I had taken work off that day and everything for that appointment. And all for nothing. And yes, I did curse at your staff member. I said "what the hell are you guys thinking?" "Why can't I be helped otherwise or accommodated? Hell no, I don't want to schedule another appointment." And what do you mean I rescheduled my appointment in March? Your stylist called me and told me ON VOICEMAIL: the day before my appointment told me she was sick. Fast-forward two weeks later . Then two weeks later I call you guys and tell you I might be 10 to 15 minutes late due to a car crash on the highway and you immediately told me to reschedule. You don't even try to accommodate me in anyway so keep lying keep talking lies. That's a damn shame. So I'm so sorry you guys think "hell" is such a bad word. Also this is all after my appointment two weeks before was canceled by your stylist. Never had that done before by a stylist thought. Hell I would've taken a different stylist that day. I would've even waited . But you guys just immediately canceled on me. It seemed like you really wanted to get out of there. It was close to the end of your hours at the salon. Either way, it was extremely unprofessional and instead of accommodating me by having me go to another stylist you guys just canceled my appointment. Very unprofessional they do not communicate well with their clients. I'd recommend a more established place that cares more about their customers and clients. That's a damn shame because I was gonna bring my children there. Oh and I think it's really funny how you guys said that I called and said to you that I was gonna be 20 to 25 minutes late . No one does that. No one says that they're gonna be almost a half hour late and expect to be seen. So right there I hope everyone reading this knows that you're lying. Any normal person would see that's a big bold face lie. But pop off, sis. Also folks notice the language they use "Sorry for YOUR misunderstanding" HAHA! No ma'am, no misunderstanding here. I understand fully what's happening. Thank you for your passive aggressive message. but I've taken my money elsewhere and my $25 tip that I gave your stylist. I will take that elsewhere. And same to you, sis have a good day, matter fact, have a better day!

If you have curly hair and are looking for a headspa, look no further! I saw this business on…read moretiktok and was delighted to know that it was in Liberty Center! I scheduled the 1 hour head spa + silk press and it was worth every penny and more. It was a relaxing experience where you get to lay back, put an eye mask on and listen to the sounds of water, sniff a little aroma therapy, feeling your scalp getting scrubbed by hand and with various tools to achieve a clean scalp. It was incredibly relaxing but also was fun to experience your scalp getting catered to. I'm a sucker for gentle scalp scratches and steam treatments and I got both with this service. Some of the products that were used smelled so good which elevated the experience for me even more. It was great to give my eyes a break and focus on my other senses. The owner was very kind, knowledgeable and personable. She was understanding with my concerns of low porosity hair and overall dryness and providing options on what we could work on if I continued to see her. After the appointment my hair was so happy! It was bouncy, shiny, moisturized and healthy. I already booked my next appointment on her website and looking forward to more appointments! Tip: As someone who does get cold easily, I recommend a light jacket or blanket during the headspa portion of the appointment. Having my scalp tended to while laying back gave me goosebumps. It was amazing but I did shiver every now and then.

I hate to be this person. This was the worst hair salon experience I've ever had :( which was a…read morehuge bummer. The girl was really nice, all I needed was a quick trim. She cut it dry, but didn't actually cut anything. I wish I was joking, she pulled hair out with her fingers, snapped the scissors, but not on my hair. Then said she wasn't going to wash it.... For 50$ it's included so I kindly asked her to wash it. Huge mistake. Should have just left. Only wet and washed the top cone of my head. The front pieces and around my neck weren't ever touched, product wasn't fully washed out. She proceeded to add 7-8 products to my hair while drying it, I looked like Cameron Diaz on there's something about Mary when I left. It was so oily and greasy and disgusting. I cried in the car after wasting that kind of time and money. The girl was so so nice, but worst hair experience ever. My usual hair girl was on maternity leave, so I was desperate for a cut. I told my usual hair girl about it and she informed me the salon owner tends to bully those that leave poor reviews about the salon on social media pretty hard- she showed me and I was appalled. The salon itself is very "liberal" politically with all the signage and stickers and conversation. I don't really care and respect everyone's right to their opinion and free speech- just a weird environment for a professional salon in my personal opinion. I won't be back and hopefully other girls there are much better. I think mine was new, but wow, for an hour and $60 (with tip) I was largely disappointed to say the least.

Upon arrival in store, I was greeted promptly and given a bottle of water by the owner. Afterwards, my stylist, Kiarra, took great care of me and did a wonderful job on the highlights in my hair! The color was matched perfectly to the reference pic I showed her. She was super gentle and detailed throughout all stages. Also, since I'm a perfectionist she helped me with some touch ups and was very thorough in helping catch any places that needed additional fixing. I love that she was super empathetic and understanding about getting every single hair detail just right until I was satisfied (I've definitely noticed other stylists in the past seeming annoyed about fixing up and redoing an area)! They were also able to accommodate me after work same day and gave me some recommendations on products and extensions! Really loved coming here! The staff are wonderful and welcoming, but definitely shout out to Kiarra for her awesome service and passion!

I went in for a cut, conditioning treatment, and style. I am happy with how my hair turned out. As part of the styling, I had my hair blow-dried straight. It is something I never take the time to do. I am curious how it will turn out when it dries naturally. It was overall a pleasant experience. I would be happy to go to Emily again.
