It was a simple swap nothing from the suspension needed to be removed, so I am perplexed about the inflated labor cost. I would strongly advise anyone with a classic vehicle to avoid this shop at all "cost" I received a call from Steve explaing the high labor cost to do the oil-pan swap and in the beginning he did inform me that his labor cost books did not go back that far for a 53 year old vehicle so in all fairness I googled the process of replacing said oil-pan and found out that the motor did need to be raised to allow room to make the swap. Steve did explain this to me but when I said that was his opinion boy did his demeanor change and as others have commented he did get rude. so I am amending my review to be fair to the shop; but I still would not recomend this shop for classic car repair. It is sad that it is very difficult to find a reputable repair shop in Springfield for classic cars.

Last night, I had a blowout on Interstate 55 near exit 37 on my utility trailer, and unfortunately,…read moreI didn't have a spare with me. I first googled "tow truck near me" and ended up connected to what appeared to be a call center--they quoted me $850, which was more than the value of the trailer! I searched again and found Pro‑Tire, and I'm so glad I did. They came out quickly, brought a new tire, and had me back on the road in no time. The total cost for roadside service and a new tire was only $200. Exceptional service, fast response, and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend Pro‑Tire for anyone in need of honest and reliable roadside help!

What brought me here. 7 cars ago, my used Ford had been acting up, shaking, sputtering and cutting out. I had been to several transmission shops and garages. Everyone said, " need a new transmission, $3000." Someone suggested Pro Tire and I stopped by, explained, "Miss Daisy" wouldn't go over 25 mph w/ out shaking. Steve grabbed his laptop, ran the diagnosis and I didn't need a transmission just a $125.00 sensor!!! I was so happy. What brought me back. Great service, good communication and honest prices. I highly recommend you give you give Pro Tire a try. Tell Megan I said, "hi!"
