Insurance estimated that my repair should take 8 days. It took almost 6 months! I had to bug them weekly for 5 months. "Parts aren't here, we don't have the people who can work on this, now it won't turn on." It's a Chevrolet, not a Jaguar. They stole a $250 tent out of the trunk. After 5 months I kept pushing and asked "What parts are you waiting on?" They couldn't get a headlight. I went online and ordered a headlight. Had it delivered and walked it into their office 3 days later. They inflated the bill to insurance from original estimate of $7k to over $11k because they couldn't find a competent technician. Took more than 2 months to finish job. I had hit a deer and smashed the front of my car. Had to bug them constantly for information. They would never call and communicate. They finally get last part in (headlight) and it takes them a week to put it together. I looked it up and it shouldn't take more than an hour even for an amateur. The fact that they can't finish a simple thing after I waited two months is ridiculous. Had to call and nag for them to finish. Lady on phone was unapologetic to say the least. Terrible service! Took car there for repairs because Allstate Insurance approves them. Waiting two weeks for repairs and painting and we were told car would be done by the end of the third week. Now, get an email stating car would not be done for another week. Any other body shop would have had it done when they said it would and would call to explain any delay! read more

If I could give this place negative a trillion I would. They illegally towed my car off my private property, didn't report the tow to the police, had my car for 2 months plus wreaked it. The only reason I got my car back is because I found it. This place is running an illegal operation! Beware they are also involved with insurance fraud!! read more

I have had the pleasure of working with the Bitschenauers through several accidents most of which were not our fault. They were friendly and provided new parts. The quality of work and the paint jobs have always been beyond expectations. Laurie and Kim have always been helpful and told us just what was involved. They have always been prompt and have even provided a car on occasion. Both Bob and Bill have gone out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied. I don't like to think about the accidents we have been involved in, but I know that I will get a quality job at Bypass. It has been a pleasure of ours to have done business with them over the past 15 years. We would really hate it if you guys ever decide to retire. Thanks again for another quality job. These guys are beyond unprofessional. I only gave them one star because 0 stars or negative stars was not an option. I have never been so disrespected as a female by another man in my life. They had my car for 3 months to replace a water pump and do a tune up and oil change. My car was originally overheating when I brought it to them. They did a diagnostics and said it was the water pump. They supposedly fixed it and never even called me to say the work was finished. They did not test the car before returning it to me. They allowed me to drive off the lot only to realize without even going a whole mile that the car was still overheating. I immediately brought it back to them and they kept my car for months claiming to be making repairs on the car. I picked my car up on April 2, 2019 and my car still was not fixed. Again they never called me to inform me what was going on with my vehicle. When I picked it up it wasn't even parked on their lot. They went on to say that it was possibly a blown head gasket. I gave the shop over $500 to repair my vehicle and got it back in the same working condition as before. When I called inquiring about what all repairs were made to the vehicle while in their care, frustrated Junior cursed me out. Junior stated and I quote that mother fucking car has been sitting up here for 3 or 4 fucking months I can't remember what all we fucking did. That was after I had to keep asking for a list of repairs and attempt to get him to remember the car I was speaking about. It should be on your fucking receipt is what Junior stated. My car ground to a halt in the middle of a busy 5-lane street at lunch hour on a freezing winter day. I tried calling 6-7 towing companies - they all said I would have to wait "at least an hour." I finally said ok to one of them and started waiting. Thank goodness it happened to be By Pass Auto Body! They called me back within 10 minutes and said they were on their way. Five minutes later, my car was safely loaded onto their truck and I was sitting in the warm cab with two of the nicest guys ever, who took my car to a repair shop and me to my own driveway! BEST.
