Whoever was answering the texts seemed nice and interested and gave me an honest quote. When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk kid, who couldn't have been more than 21 or so, seemed bored like I inconvenienced his day. He and another boy pulled my truck around back and started to work. About an hour later my truck was finished. I was quoted 2 hours so this was fine by me. I worked from my laptop in their lobby. WiFi would have been nice but I made it work. It was only there an hour. Glass was replaced. What I thought was odd was I was paying with a card and the kid had to call his boss and read off my card to him which concerned me initially. I did receive an invoice and an invoice text so I felt like it at least was charged where it was supposed to. I also saved half of what Safelight would have cost me to drive 20 mins up the road. Josh arrived within 30 minutes of my Saturday afternoon call and was extremely polite, kind, and helpful. He also listened to my car story and offered support and encouragement. The next day, Sunday, I called Tom's again to schedule a tow for Monday morning. I needed to get my car to a shop that worked on manual transmissions. Martha at Tom's took my information over the phone and said the car would be picked up between 7:30am and 8:00am Monday morning and towed to the requested shop. A few minutes before 8:00am Monday morning, Martha called to let me know my car was being transported. I'm grateful to Josh, Martha, and the crew at Tom's for providing an invaluable service.
