Today was an extremely busy day for them. The town had a start of football season scrimmage and so the restaurant was hammered by all of the guests coming to eat dinner here. The staff was running and sprinting along the floor, the servers were engaging the guests, there were smiles all around. For a small town pizzeria I was very impressed with this establishment. The food was pretty good. I especially loved their sauce. You won't be disappointed with the pizza. I also highly recommend you try their cheese breadsticks or maybe the garlic bread. The interior appears brand new. The staff are also very friendly and attentive. Where do I start? Why, the beginning of course. I'm traveling through for the night. Even though this joint doesn't deliver I decided to go pick up dinner. I go to the pickup window and am watching 5 high school guys wander around not caring at all that a paying customer is there. Finally a young girl asks for my name. She runs around looking for my pizza. Psstt... it's the only one on top of the oven. They have no plates to give me and she had to search for plastic utensils. The combo pizza was just ok. We decided to try something different and went to Joe's. OMG it was beyond delicious. We ordered the Italian Beef and had the Stuffed Breadsticks as an appetizer. Finally taking home two canolli for dessert for later. My husband loved the canollis. Highly recommend!!!!! read more

Don't get me wrong, I love me a Monical's pizza. But sometimes you want more. Casey's... Yea, okay. Pizza Hut? Maybe when you're craving that pan pizza grease bomb. But a good medium crust pizza? Well, this is it. Check the pics. Hand tossed. Crispy on the bottom (but not tough). A little chewy, but not too much, still soft. Toppings on top of the sauce and cheese. Plenty of toppings, in big pieces so each bite is a little different. Not too much cheese, so you can actually taste the toppings. And wine?!?!! Yes, please. YUM! I look forward to trying more of the menu. A great addition to town, and I love that it's downtown. read more

This place is much more than pizza. They have a large selection of pasta and sandwiches. We've only been twice but both times the pasta has been excellent. I don't eat pizza so you're on your own. The furnishings are retro and the dining room is spacious. It appears they have a separate room perhaps for small groups or parties. The service was good however each time I was not asked about refills which for me goes a long way in determining the tip. The iced tea is from a bottle which was disappointing. All things considered this will be a regular place for us. Pass by all the fast food just off the highway and go downtown to the cobblestone streets and give Joe's a try. read more

Was expecting better based on the reviews. We had a Chef's Salad, Pizza and a pasta dinner. The salad had wilted ice-burg lettuce four grape tomatoes, two slices cucumber , one slice of ham and turkey, NO pepperoncini,croutons or eggs as stated on menu. The Ranch dressing was okay. The cream sauce in the pasta dish was good and the chicken in it okay too. The menu stated a Farfalle pasta but they used Rigatoni? The pizza sauce was a basic onion, butter sweetened red gravy in my humble opinion. The crust was soft not crisp, didn't care for the flavor of it either. The sauce didn't even have a hint of oregano or basil although it was thick. The cheese on top was minimal at best. Monical's down the road is better or even the Hut! A+ French fries! Delicious food all around and spectacularly kind service. I talked my partner into bypassing fast food in favor of local fare, and got a gold star for my efforts. Even though I called from the road with very little lead time, our order was expedited and ready. The turkey ranch wrap is spot on with the balance of ingredients plus the actual wrap is fresh. With crisp lettuce and fresh veggies buried under the most feta I've ever seen in one zip code, my Greek salad gets high marks, too. Did I mention the fries?! A mixed bag. Service is very good. The pizza is mediocre and the wine and beer list needs some work. But the pastas are all very good, especially the Farfalle Alla Pesto and the Fettuccine Alfredo. Sandwiches, again, are OK and nothing spectacular. read more

We love Joe's! Great prices, great pizza! We've never had a pie that was under- *or* overdone - we've enjoyed Joe's for years now and have never been disappointed. If I go to a pizza place and I have to force myself to eat three slices, somethings wrong. The crust was awful, I don't if it was because it was gluten free or what. If that's what tastes like without gluten, I want no part of it. They were a little stingy on the toppings as well. I also had a serious case of diarrhea the next morning. Coincidence?
