Strawberry margarita

One of our favorite places in Savoy! Food is always great, fast and friendly service every single time we have went. Drinks are always an A+, especially the margaritas! Anytime we can't decide on a place to go eat; this is where we end up because we know it's going to be good!

Breakfast was so delicious (as pictured), got the Denver skillet with toast and the Mexican omelette and pancakes. The dinner here is also amazing every time, no matter what you get, it's always so good and the people are so nice!

Visited for lunch on grand opening day. Wife and I looked forward to having a Mexican eatery close by and anxiously awaited its opening. The gold standard for us is El Huarcho's in Urbana. Service was incredible, probably the best I've had at a Mexican restaurant. From reading reviews of it's sister restaurant in Villa Grove seems that service is a staple for them. I got a lunch fajita special for $8.50 and a horchata for $2.50. Both tasted good, but the fajita came out on a plate with just refried beans and rice. Used to the usual cold spread of lettuce, tomato, sour cream. Also it just came with flour tortillas, would have like the choice of corn tortillas which some places offer. Also enjoy getting the fajitas on the sizzling plate. Compared to the other sit down Mexican eateries (El Toro, El Huarcho's, Dos Reales, etc.) price seemed a little above average for the food. Looking at the diner menu, most of items were $!0-$15. Service helped it stand out, but nothing else will give it an edge over other local places. Will have to try dinner to see if the bang for buck is better and see if kids think it stands out.

Had the Molcajete el rancho and queso fundido. Spectacularly good with stellar service. If I didn't live in Tampa, I'd be here every week!

This place is awesome! I can see it becoming the best Asian international grocery market in the…read morearea! They have a huge selection of foods predominantly from China, South Korea, and Japan. I have seen some Indian, Vietnamese, and Filipino stuff though including a generous section of spices and whatnot. The prices are quite affordable and they have a great assortment of fresh produce, deli foods like ready to eat kimbap or squid salad, baked goods, pick your own hotpot items, and fresh bbq (put out at 11am). Their staff is super friendly and diverse (a sign at the entrance touts the multilingual abilities of the staff). They seem to have everything including more niche ingredients and even live seafood! I also appreciate that they freshly butcher meat to sell unlike other stores like Amko that freeze it all. There's also a home goods section with cute bowls, makeup, and other stuff. This is all relatively close to campus too and worth the trip. It's also right next to Golden Harbor, which is a plus. I found out about their membership card. You get 1 point per dollar spent and it builds up - it seems handy especially if you shop here frequently. They are still in the opening stage but hopefully the food court will open up soon!

Red dates, Gogi Berry, ginger tea, kimchi, Vita drinks, matcha soymilk, miso paste, whole wall of lee kum kee sauces, japanese candies, Korean banana milk, coffee milk, instant noodles, and much more. Their fresh produce was a bit low in stock but they had Taiwan and Napa cabbage and fresh ginger. Inside seems clean and there is parking right outside of the market. Cashier was really friendly. There is a membership to earn points to redeem for coupon. Don't forget to grab some Japanese or Korean instant coffee packs and special lays flavored chips! Those are so good.

Everything was delicious, I've never had northern style Chinese food and its now my favorite. Totally worth the wait. The staff was attentive and service was quick. We had the crispy pork in sweet and sour glaze, salted egg yolk with Japanese tofu, tomato egg noodles and spicy green beans. We've been back many times as this is now our go-to place on campus during summer break while students are away.

Northern Cuisine is popular with the Asian students because they're most of the people eating in there. Basically it shows it's good enough for them so it's good enough for everyone. The prices are pretty okay for portions. Came in and looked at the menu. It's certainly a big one. There's tons of meaty and plant friendly options to get and they get spicy. Felt like feeling a burn. It's about $15 for an entree which is okay because you get a lot. Also has more authentic options that get even crazier. I got the Mapo Tofu. A great thing is it's not a recipe that uses pork. This is soft tofu with a spicy ass sauce. Could have used a few vegetables in it. This was still pretty good though. Have to say it looking for authentic Chinese to come here. It's located on Green in the middle of the campus bars and restaurants. There's a few things for vegetarians.
