This place is amazing! The ambiance is typical for a Mexican restaurant, and it was nice and clean. Service was nice and our server was very attentive. For the longest time, when I go to a new Mexican restaurant I order the carnitas. Mainly because I love the flavor and portion size, but a secondary reason is that carnitas aren't easy to make and takes a long time to make. If the restaurant gets it right, you're guaranteed to have a rich, flavorful meal. Now, obviously if the Cooks mess it up or rush it, you've got a 50/50 chance. Unfortunately the carnitas I was served here were pretty lack luster. It was tender and wasn't full of big pieces of fat which were all positive attributes, but it had a crock pot roast flavor, not the slow roasted/braised flavor I'm looking for in this dish. Didn't see or taste any crispy bits, which is were lots of the flavor comes from. The fried potatoes, refried beans and rice weren't anything special either. I will go back to this establishment though, as everyone else seemed to really enjoy their selections, the service was prompted, and the place was very clean. Over all it was a pleasant experience, just not what I was hoping for. read more

Loved the mango margarita! We got there and had to give our number for the waitlist. They called us back about 20 minutes later. We got there and I noticed our server is in a rush but I get it they were busy. But still, other servers "served" us more whenever we needed something, like spoon or more salsa, a different waiter noticed us and was more attentive. Overall the food was great! the menu they handed us and the price on the menu were different. when we received our bill every item was more than what listed. when we asked to see a menu to compare we were denied. For example tacos were listed on the menu as 6.99 and we were charged 9.99. we were also up charged on every item, receiving larger portion sizes and being charged for them and the price was still inflated. read more

I don't recommend ordering from this restaurant for pickup. I used Doordash for this order, which air commonly use for many restaurant pickups. All of the food was cold though we arrived promptly enough that it should have at least been warm. The chicken fajitas were missing the rice, beans, and tortillas. I requested no cheese on top of a burrito but it came with cheese, anyway. I ordered for 4 people and each requested hot sauce with their meal. We were only given one small hot sauce. I am so glad that there is another restaurant that has opened after Covid. I know it is exceptionally hard to hire skilled customer focused employees, even without Covid. In light of slower service the food quality was exceptional exceeding my expectations after dining multiple times at the 3 other larger Mexican restaurants in town. The beverage selection was large with the jumbo margarita being awesome! The key to an enjoyable meal that is not going as well as you would like is to get up and nicely speak with the supervisor or manager. This is how restaurants improve service and how is locals can help non-branded restaurants survive. Cheers! read more

The service was awful!!! Our waiter only came to check on us to rush us out. When we got the bill I noticed a 1.50 charge and asked what it was for. During dinner I asked for extra sour cream and received about two tablespoons of sour cream. When I asked the waiter he told us it was for the sour cream. The problem I have is not with the charge, but with the lie. He didn't inform us of the charge and I would have been okay with it if he had actually said something. When I said he lied he then decided he would take it off the Bill. I then said the point was not for him to remove it but to admit he lied.
