Plain Pizza is good and usually has a great bake to it. The German used to be the best in the area but has fallen off

Stopped in after the Lafayette-Lehigh game. Took home several tomato pie slices. Delicious. Three thumbs up!

Probably the best Pizza in Easton. It is a thin crust New York style pizza. Just remember to bring cash because they don't take plastic.

Probably the best New York-style pizza in the area. It's hot, delicious and good for breakfast (cold, of course), too.

I first found Giacomo's when I moved from Jersey to the Lehigh Valley more than 20 years ago. Long…read morebefore the sons of the original owner opened the Market and Grill in College Hill. Raised in Brooklyn, NY for 20 years, my expectations were low. The old man closed his store and retired and I discovered the tradition moved forward in the new College Hill store. The original Giacomo's was not a grill, but the old man (whose name escapes me), knew how to make sausage. Imported cheeses and olives with bread brought in from NYC made this a no brainer for folks like me. The old man couldn't retire and he came in just to make the sausage - of which the thin (pictured) parsley and cheese sells out the same day quite often. My favorite - though the other varieties are top notch too. I heard he still makes the sausage today but I can't confirm or deny that. Having moved to Naples, FL and then Myrtle Beach, SC - I had long forgotton Giacomo"s. Now back in PA (Allentown), I recently wanted good ravioli. The company that make the best ravioli in the world is Pastosa's. I went to their website and saw they opend a bunch of stores in both NY and NJ. I had just about talked myself into an hour or more ride when I found they also sold at select retailers. Wouldn't you know Giacomo's is one of them. My car drove itsel to Giacomo's and I got a box of the large ravioli, a bag of home made meatballs, and a qusrt of homeade tomato sauce. OMG - Pastosa still make the best ravioli in the world. And Giacomo's seel the full line including a bunch of ravioli varities, stuffed shells, manicoti and more.Of course I picked up some Italian specialties along the way while there. HEAVEN! Don't go hungry and bring plenty of money - because it's easy to drop a hundred dollars there and you'll have ZERO buyers remorse. Check out their website ba cause this review just scratches the surface of all the authentic Italian delicacies they have. Don't forget Junior's Cheescake - Simply The Best! They loved the assorted sandwiches, and my vegetarian friend was thrilled with the grilled veggies sandwiches I had requested. But the absolute hit of the afternoon was the handheld charcuteries. The ladies partied with charcuteries in one hand and drinks in the other. As ever, the portions were more than generous. The food was fresh, and the quality was great. Thank you B&B!

So due to a photo I saw on Facebook and a few recommendations on TikTok, I went to check out the…read morecheesesteak at Monster's Deli in Easton. I'll just break this down as quickly as possible. The good: - There was plenty of meat and it was seasoned well. - There was plenty of cheese and it was Cooper Sharp. - The roll had a nice consistency and flavor. - The girl working the front was friendly. - They had a massive American flag over the register. 'MERICA BABY The not so good: - The 12" steak and a bottle of propel cost $19. I have zero issues paying for good food, but I did find that a bit steep. - The onions were sliced red onion that they sautéed. Wasn't really a "bad" thing, just unexpected. Still tasted fine. - While there was plenty meat, it was packed to the middle and the ends had a lot less. I know that's a bit nit pickey, but it is a pet peeve of mine. All in all I really enjoyed the steak and I'd get it again, but due to the price I wouldn't rush back in or go out of my way necessarily to get back there. I do know food costs are up for everyone, not just consumers, I just figured this steak was bare minimum a $16 steak (if the propel was $3). That puts the cost in the ballpark of Mercatino Italiano and Mercatino's steak is definitely in another class imo.
