Ron was a fantastic salesman - incredibly helpful during the process and the whole staff was truly awesome. We had some logistical complications between traveling from out of state (and organizing ferry reservations living on an island) and the team was always willing to work with us. In addition, because my girlfriend is newer to driving and it's a 2018 vehicle, the auto shop was able to put a backup camera and display into the vehicle for us - which made the purchase both possible and greatly put at ease any concern I had for her safety. Plus, as one of us is a permanent resident - the loan application process required an exorbitant amount of paper work and hoops to jump through. While other dealerships might have bailed on the process- Tara and Ron remained communicative and committed to making sure we could complete every documentation to the satisfactory of the bank. After I purchased the car I took it to my local mechanic, who confirmed the work put into the vehicle prior to sale was great and the Jeep was in wonderful shape. We have since driven it round trip to Virginia over the course of several short days - and the ride was incredibly smooth and the car performed perfectly. I couldn't be happier with our experience, I would absolutely come back to Ron and the group at Route 146 and if we ever plan to lift or modify the Jeep I absolutely would do it here. I saw a vehicle I liked, and when discussing price, the finance guy told me to "get lost", and that I was "not a genuine person" after asking for a lower price to repair the damage on the vehicle that was not clearly advertised in the pictures. I have not been treated like less than human at a business before. I asked why he would say something like this, when we're just talking numbers at a business, and that emotions shouldn't be involved. They have a price they need, I have a price I need, there's nothing more than that. He told me "because I said so. Get lost". I mentioned this to the owner. The owner told me that he apologized on behalf of the finance guy. He told me that if I still wanted the vehicle, he would give it to me for what I asked and he wanted to make it right. This was Saturday before close. He told me he will "put a fork in it" as in the deal is good, and we shook hands. I called Monday with cash ready, and he told me the vehicle had sold. I'd be wary of doing business with a place like this. A vehicle is a large financial investment, and it's best not to have doubts of what you're getting into. Whatever vehicle you're looking for, I'm confident you'd be happier buying it at a different location. They don't have anything worth this type of business. People need to be treated with respect both ways. Emotions have no role in business. This is not professional. Be warned.

She leaves for a minute. Sorry you have to make an appointment. We know there are no customers here but we are still not going to serve you." I was shocked! We went somewhere else. Took less than 2 min to complete the transaction. It took longer to sit and wait for the wonderful greeter to turn us away with NO other customers there!!! Does BoA see any problem with this? Evidently not. McDonalds has no appointment only, Grocery stores, Town Hall had great service. First, get rid of unnecessary unproductive appointments. Then maybe have the greeter do something productive like serve a customer rather than stand there with an iPad turning people away. Please don't say the C word and blame Covid. Even bars, restaurants , churches are wide open. Wonder if Citizens has customer service cause BoA certainly doesn't.

Do not be persuaded by the well-kept Facebook page nor the truthless and unreliable promises of their contract about fixing the issues with your vehicle. I paid $5000, MR Onassis Martinez, for the car on May 10th, It took 10 days to receive the car after purchase. I called daily for updates; I was told the car is not ready. A week after finally receiving the car it dies while reversing out of my driveway. I messaged MR Martinez about it, I was ignored. A week later, the car is squeaking sound and leaking fluids. Again, I try to contact MR Martinez I send photos and videos of the visible issues but to no avail, I was ignored. Because of the constant issues and lack of reply I showed up with the vehicle. Multiple promises were made. I was told to schedule an appointment for the following Sunday, when I told him I couldn't wait for another week he suggested we could bring it to any shop and let him know the problem so he could cash app the money to fix it. because of the severity of these issues, I brought the car to a shop the same day. several problems were discovered totaling close to $3000. Again, I sent him photos and messages of the shop's findings, that the shop told me the car shouldn't have passed inspection because the ball joints were giving out soon and needed to be replaced. Out of the most detrimental of the fixes, I could only afford at the time was $582 for a cover gasket for a valve. Mr. Martinez said he would not pay that much instead offered me $200 and said I needed to pay for the rest myself, money which I never actually received from Mr. Martinez. I paid the full amount myself. May 31st at this point I'm deeply discouraged. With the constant issues, I feel like I'm living a nightmare. The constant run around, being constantly dismissed, ignored, and manipulated, truly wore me down. I attempted to return the car I'm told of the no return policy, and I mentioned that the contract states also states "we do not refund cash back if your vehicle needs repairs, it will get done!!". On June 13th Mr. MArtinez tells me that he will take a look at the car but only if I take down a previous review. After all our previous encounters, also read multiple reviews from other buyers complaining that he would hold their car for weeks on end; only to not fix any of the issues. I needed assurances I ask for confirmation that the car would get the proper care that it desperately needs and if it did not, I would report him to the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Mr. Martinez tells me not to bother bringing the car in, that for the record he doesn't have to fix anything, he felt threatened. I assured MR Martinez that it was not a threat sir, I'm just tired of the runaround. That the BBB exists to protect consumers from a business that consistently shows bad practices. After that, I receive no more replies to my calls or messages. Two days later the car no longer turns on. I had to spend the whole day figuring out how to bring it to a repair shop because it had an alternator problem. I had to pay $480 to fix it. A month after purchasing my car from these guys I'm back to taking public transportation. I have all the text messages.

I have gotten my last 2 cars from here and had little to no issues (I understand the cars are used) but since financing my last car from them ONLY 3.5 months ago, it has a cracked cylinder head and I am being told the engine needs to be totally replaced. When I called Shannon, I was told they could not do anything for me considering it was over the 30 day warranty. There is no way this issue occurred from me considering I've only driven a few thousand miles on it and got it at the end of January 2026. I was told that the bank gave me an extended warranty that had total coverage if anything were to go wrong in the first 24 months/24,000 miles (whichever came first). I am now being told that it's not covered by the extended warranty. I am now stuck making monthly payments on an unsafe car that Shannon has sold me. Garages are telling me the repair will cost anywhere from $3,000-$7,000. Beware when getting a car from here. They have lost my business and any good word of mouth I would have passed along for them.
