While they do an excellent job of washing and cleaning at a very affordable price (less than $35 after tax for both interior and exterior), it should not be fair to compare them to full detailing shop charging several times as much. I dropped my car off early in the morning and gave them the day to do it. I did a walk around myself and found dirt streaks all around the exterior. Also the window jams were not cleaned at all. Additionally, I have to ask them for my floor mats back (they forgot to put them back in!). I drove back pretty floored and decided to have a more thorough in-depth look of how they did. The stains on the seats were still visible and the floors were still caked on with salt. The rust stains were still visible on the doors which were suppose to be removed by the clay bar treatment. I sent the owner an email and he apologized, stating it was the fault of an employee who has been an issue for awhile. He offered a refund and to redo the areas under his supervision. Even after he supervised, the door/window jams were still dirty and the carpet still had salt on it. I expected it to be completely clean but even after the second go around it was still dirty. I'll need to go elsewhere to have the salt stains removed.

There have been several times when Canadian Tire would try to upsell us and tell us something was wrong with our car. We would come to J&S to get a second opinion and more times than not, the car was fine - and we wouldn't get charged for the inspection. One time an oil change place said our oil pan was rusted and needed to be replaced. J&S checked it out and said the metal was still solid underneath and it didn't need to be replaced yet. I trust these guys so if they tell me something needs to be fixed, then it needs to be fixed.
