I went there to see if my battery was still good and they put my car up on the lift and said that I needed four new tires, my brakes only had maybe a month left so I needed new brakes and rotors so I took my car to my dealership I did get the new tires but they told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my brakes and rotors that I still had a long time left on my brakes. My second visit was to have my transmission fluid changed. I've been going to my own dealer for the past 10 years, but I went here for an oil change not long ago and was extremely impressed with the friendliness, the efficiency, and the speed in which the service was completed. There was a huge cost difference for the transmission service so I came back to Myers and I am so glad I did. All the employees here are extremely friendly and very accommodating. I was in and out in just over an hour which is quite fast for this type of service. On both occasions, I was met with utmost friendliness and professionalism. Massively overpriced and bald-faced lie to your face After an inspection, I asked for them to prepare an estimate and I would be around in half an hour to pick up my vehicle. When I arrived, she was still on the jacks. I asked how long it would take to get her back together. "She'll be ready in ten minutes." That was a half an hour ago and I've only just seen a mechanic start working on her. Since I've got the time to kill, I've been looking up the parts they're saying need replacing. Their markup is well over doubling what I would pay if I sourced my own from Napa or PartSource. $420 for an oil pan??? Are you insane? Like their ads are now saying, don't put up with BS. AVOID AT ALL COST! This is day 3 of waiting for the owner to call me to rectify the unwarranted $1,700 bill for the subpar work his employees did on my vehicle. I wish I was able to upload pictures on this forum because they've completely ruined one of my rims and left blue tape on my brakes. Just a heads up Mr. Midas Bronson owner: the link you submitted for me to file a complaint does not work. I would suggest dealing with your businesses issues yourself instead of deflecting it to your corporate office. read more

If I could rate them 0 stars I would... Brought my car on Tuesday to put my winter tires on, had an appointment at 2pm and they stated it would take 30 minutes. 1.5 hours later and I still hadn't heard from them. I give them a call and they told me they needed a lug nut key to change my tires so I would have to pay $130 for that AND they wouldn't be able to do it until the morning (they also claimed I'd need brake pad repairs and an inspection for that). I left my car there overnight, in the morning they called me saying that someone "brought a key from home" and they were able to put my tires on without the extra charge for the key. I pick up my car and notice the next day that they never actually changed my tires!! Not only irresponsible but incredibly dangerous. I call them to bring my car back, and they are being incredibly dismissive, was not until they spoke to my father that my concerns were being taken seriously. I bring my car back and they tell me AGAIN they can't change my tires because the wrench doesn't fit.... at the very least they gave me a refund and I told them I'd take my car elsewhere. Brought it to Canadian tire - tires put on with NO issue!! Also had a friend bring a different car for their winter tires and they told him they couldn't put the tires on and tried to make them buy new tires! He went somewhere else and they told him his tires were perfectly fine. Do NOT trust this establishment - they are fraudulent scammers who take advantage of young women and people who aren't super knowledgeable in cars. AVOID! read more

Bronson St. location. Daughter who is a student in Ottawa needed just an oil change, and only requested an oil change, nothing else. They took it upon themselves to check mechanical components in the front end. Week before we just had front stabilizer links replaced and front end inspected complete with a 4 wheel alignment. We were told by Midas that the front lower control arm bushings were torn and needed replacement and then the alignment was way out of wack when she left the shop. In my opinion damage to the bushings was done during their check and that they were trying to take advantage of a young inexperienced person being female in this instance. Recently read reviews with similar circumstances. Would recommend to stay away from this location and maybe Midas in general. read more

We have a car that is way over due in filter and oil changes! Thanks to the coupons Midas sent out, I was reminded to come get those done. Walked into Midas explaining this and they made very good suggestions. I am not very good with cars, but they were really understanding and explained what might need to get looked at. I was told my tires are in very much need to be replaced. I requested them to give me quotes on possible tires and brands for comparison and they were able to give me four different options! I really appreciated that. The technician explained which one he recommended and why. I walked out with a good amount of knowledge about tires and need to discuss with the hubby before I go back to get them replaced. Their prices are pretty decent for the work they do and the services they offer. Their technicians are knowledgeable and certified. Looking at their website Midas seems to do everything but body work and glass.
