We obtained four estimates and Kevin's team came in at a reasonable cost (and locally owned). Kevin helped us with our vision, connected with his shop to pick up color/patterns of cultured marble and assisted in identifying a specific thermostatic valve. Kevin's estimate was right on point and did not include any cost surprises. About a year and a half after the work was completed, one of the towel racks became lose and we were concerned that it was an installation issues... Kevin's team promptly came out and repaired (turned out the rack had proper fasteners and installed correctly so damage was our fault). Really happy that we went with a local contractor who knows these homes really well!

His bid was competitive, but unlike other bidders he doesn't nickel and dime you on every detail or simple change. He made the whole project easy for us and finished the work in record time based on our experience with previous projects. The crew started demo on a Monday and by Friday we had the first city inspection. Six weeks later the project was complete with all appliances in, custom cabinets installed, new tiles and countertops in. They even worked some weekends. The whole crew were really great, expert, timely, and very easy to have in the house. They were friendly, honest, responsive, and experienced. His cabinet maker is local and delivered a great design, timely delivery and was very responsive. His countertop fabricator also did an excellent job. The interior doors were well made by a local fabricator. Expert installation and painting of the doors by Diablo View. They all look amazing and make such a difference to the house. I really recommend them and plan to use them for any future projects.

I would have never thought that a home remodel project could be enjoyable, but this was! Odyssey Builders employs workers who are not only skilled, but personable, understanding, friendly, and considerate of you and your space within the home as they are working. Our projects were completed on time or ahead of schedule. No complaints. Choosing to work with Brannan and his company was a no brainer. We appreciated his laidback attitude while also being upfront with his projected costs and schedule. Having numerous projects that needed redoing at the same time, we found his insight into ways to effectively cut costs while still maintaining the function and the aesthetic of our small bathroom invaluable. We met with multiple contractors before deciding who to work with on both of our bathrooms. Brannan and Oddyssey Builders were not only the most cost effective but far and away the most trustworthy people we met with during the quoting process. They didn't try to upsell us anything or talk about large overhead design features we didn't need. Brannan took time to have lengthy discussions with us up front about different options we had to lower costs to make our remodels what we wanted within our budget. It was an incredibly personable experience compared to simple impersonal sales pitches w/out in-depth discussions we had with other contractors. We trusted Brannan to carry out our vision of the projects within our budget and he delivered 100%. The results are beautiful. Two different bathrooms, each dramatically improved from what was there before while displaying our personal taste and adding some character to our home. We really love how much we were able to drive the design of the bathrooms with Brannan's guidance on the different tradeoffs of options for each decision. The final bathroom products are beautiful, polished and satisfy all of our needs and desires. We love them and feel like we couldn't have ended up with anything better if we did anything differently. 10 out of 10!

I feel they are honest, professional and have all their credentials. Toupin Construction was able to navigate and work alongside the requirements of the HOA while not disturbing the other owners in the building. They were very good with details, details that come with experience working in an HOA environment. For example, when it came time to shutting off the water, they made sure to follow CC&R's and bylaws in regards to proper procedures. Furthermore, when their was a small accidental bump to a neighbors deck, virtually no visible cosmetic damage, Toupin Construction notified the HOA immediately and remedied the situation. I was never even contacted by the HOA or the neighbor, which tells me the handled the situation with the upmost professionalism. Prior to hiring Toupin Construction, we got bids from two other contractors. Their prices were within 10-20%, one higher and one lower, but the quality of the materials were inferior. They didn't inspire confidence in working with an HOA. The finished product is beautiful, we couldn't ask for more. We are grateful that Toupin Construction was able to fit us in their schedule and travel the distance to Tiburon. Honestly, I think it was just good timing because I couldn't get any contractors to cross a bridge to get bid in the beginning. They were within budget, finished in time and didn't gauge us because of our address. Lastly, as a fellow business owner I appreciate professionalism, follow through and quality workmanship. This is exactly how Toupin Construction handled my kitchen remodel and we couldn't be happier.
