White dance floor. Was flat panels that clicked together. Not ideal on an uneven surface, but what can you do? The chairs were great!
    Lady D.

These guys are great. Easy to work with, delivered on time, and delivered on their promise to give the discount I won at the wedding show. I rented white folding chairs from them = GREAT And I rented a white "dance floor". I knew there would be trouble putting a dance floor on a bumpy, uneven, draught sticker lawn. So I was not surprised it was not level. But my husband was disappointed and said it looked like the kitchen linoleum. But hey, it was the cheapest I could get! And it still worked as a dance floor. I didn't see anyone fall and I didn't hear any negative feedback from guests. I would for sure work with them again.

Sweetheart table draping and amber uplighting.

We had our wedding at the Gardens at Heather Farms and Joe Jr. was very easy to work with. The sweetheart table draping, uplighting, and chair rental (cheapest price we found) came out perfect. Uplighting was well worth the extra money for our wedding and it def set the mood. During the initial planning, we weren't sure what color lights we wanted, so he came to my house to show us. So accommodating and we really appreciated the extra service. Joe Squared Production was very professional and has endless options to choose from. I'd recommend their services to anyone planning an upcoming event. Side note: emails and text responses are a little slow, but well worth the wait bc the end result was amazing.

Terrible print quality! And incorrect date format.

I originally went to Joe Squared because they were highly recommended by one of our potential venues and I wanted to support a small business. There were only positive reviews on Yelp, so I felt like I could trust them. Joe was initially very helpful in explaining the different draping and GOBO/mongram lighting choices. I had a great initial impression of them because of their responsiveness and booked them 6 months before my wedding. However, once I paid my 50% deposit, everything changed. They became unprofessional and unresponsive to the point of outright ignoring me. As a bride, when it is 6 weeks before your wedding, the last thing you want is a vendor who does not respond to questions, especially when you are getting draping, monogram lighting, and a photobooth with them. Joe takes weeks to respond to emails and has not once ever returned any of my multiple voicemails. 5 and a half weeks before the wedding, I contacted Joe to finalize details for the draping, monogram lighting, and photobooth backdrop and print-out design. After many emails and calls (I spaced them out and picked different times of days to give them the benefit of the doubt), I was finally able to catch Joe on his cell phone 2.5 weeks before my wedding. That is 3 weeks of not responding to emails and not returning voicemails. If I had known how unresponsive Joe was, I would have happily paid more money for a vendor who will actually respond to questions! 1 week before the wedding, I asked Joe to confirm the monogram lighting came out OK, but again, he did not respond until two days before the wedding. He waited until TWO DAYS before the wedding to confirm the lighting came out OK. Additionally, I had asked Joe to change the draping behind my sweetheart table from 15 feet to 10 feet before I paid the final bill. Joe confirmed and changed it in the contract. However, when I got to the venue the day of the wedding, the draping was STILL 15 feet long. I had only asked my florist to prepare enough flowers for 10 feet of draping. If I didn't happen to be at the venue when Joe's guys were still there to correct their mistake, my head-table back drop would have been ruined! They were able to fix it on request, but imagine if I wasn't there in time and I wasn't able to catch it myself!!! You do NOT want a vendor that cannot follow even their own instructions! But my biggest issue with Joe, and the one that has prompted me to write this review because it still has not been resolved, is the photobooth. Per the contract, it states the photobooth includes a flash drive of the digital images. It has been over 1 month since my wedding, and despite Joe stating he would send me a flash drive or upload the photos to drop box, I have not received anything. He also stopped responding to emails and picking up my calls. Not only that, look at the terrible print quality of the photobooth strips (I'm sure you can't tell but there's supposed to be a flower in the center). Furthermore, the dates were printed July, 15 2017. It's July 15, 2017. Notice the misplacement in the comma!! The lack of attention to detail was frankly embarrassing to us. Even with everything, I could chalk it up to some honest mistakes, but to this day, I still have not received the flash drive that I paid for in full and on time. I'm afraid that he lost the photos or something that he can't admit to, but I can't tell because I've gotten silence from him. If for some reason he lost the photos, he should take responsibility and tell me. Be responsible and 1) respond to emails, 2) pick up your calls, and 3) respond to voicemails. I warn everyone to think twice before using Joe Squared Productions. It may seem like the prices are "reasonable", but if you do your research, there are actually comparable or cheaper options for draping, lighting, and especially photobooths. Hiring him as a vendor is the only regret of the whole wedding. When I want to be able to look at all the memories my friends and family made in the photobooth, I can't. Because he won't give me a flash drive or even drop box me the photos. If all you're getting is chairs, he's probably cheap enough to be great, but for anything more complicated than that, save yourself the stress and do not use Joe Squared Productions. When there are a million things to do for the wedding, you do not need the stress, headache or heartache of having to deal with an unprofessional and unresponsive vendor for your wedding.

Here you can see the market lighting, the tent, the effect of the uplighting, and the draping during my Father-Daughter Dance.

Joe Squared Productions definitely provided the ambience we wanted for our wedding! We met Joe at a bridal fair and loved his work. Joe Squared Productions provided street market lighting, draping, LED up-lights, linens, cocktail tables, and pinpoint light for the cake. Literally days before the wedding, a storm was predicted to hit on our wedding day and Joe was able to rent us a tent and change the entire set-up plan, so that we could still have the feel of an outdoor wedding. It was absolutely beautiful!!! Joe was great to communicate with and really knows his stuff! Thank you Joe!

We had amber uplighting, draping with hanging glass ball candles, spotlight for cake, custom gobo, and sequin sweetheart table linen. It look absolutely beautiful. We had many compliments, and it really transformed the ballroom! Was worth every penny. In addition, compared to other vendors in the same service area, JoeSquared was reasonably priced. We also had the photobooth, with gold crush backdrop, which was tons of fun, only con is there was there not a photobooth scrapbook as stated in the package. However, the other services were so well done, I still give 5 stars.

We worked with Joe Squared Productions for our April 2016 wedding at the Berkeley City Club in Berkeley, CA. Joe Squared provided a number of rentals for us, including chiavari chairs, draping, wedding arch, cake stand, and a pin spot light for our cake. We were extremely pleased with Joe Squared and highly recommend them! We were really impressed by Joe Squared's rental selection and flexibility. When we first started working with Joe, he sent us a PDF catalog with information and pricing for a lot of what they have to offer (though they have more than what's listed in the catalog, so don't hesitate to ask!). We then met in-person at a coffee shop to discuss our wedding vision and needs, talk about their offerings in more detail, and check out fabric swatches, which was enough for us to happily make our initial rental order. We kept thinking of changes and new things we needed after that, but Joe was able to accommodate all of our requests and changed our order as needed. And maybe most impressive, for the few things we needed that Joe didn't already have (arch, cake stand), he bought and rented them to us. Painless! The only real problem we ran into working with Joe Squared is that it was often tough to coordinate with Joe via email. Sometimes my emails wouldn't get responses, or the responses would only answer some of my questions. But stick with it! Joe was really helpful when we met in person, and the rental delivery/pickup experience was painless: everything was delivered the night before the wedding and picked up a day or so later. And the results! We were blown away by how great everything turned out. Everything was perfect, and the draping Joe Squared set up around our ceremony space was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. We got a bunch of compliments about how everything looked. And to top it off, Joe Squared's prices were great! Even our day-of coordinator was impressed by how affordable his rentals were -- especially the chiavari chairs. Overall, we were really happy with Joe Squared Productions. We had the wedding of our dreams, and Joe Squared played a big part in making that happen!

I don't like leaving nasty reviews and didn't plan on it, but now I'm feeling absolutely cheated…read moreand I'd hate for someone else to spend thousands with this company. There were a few red flags from the beginning, but we were already kinda locked in with the deposit. I had asked for a floral quote and had a whole intro meeting with Victoria. It took months to respond and she was asking questions we had already answered months prior when we met her. Had to send my mood boards over AGAIN. Seemed unorganized, but we brushed it off because she was very sweet. The day off, my florals did NOT match the inspo at all. They charged 40 bucks per vase, which had one stem of cheap flowers (I'm talking calendula and some filler/foliage for example.) our bouquets were also WILTED the moment they were handed to us. Our tables also just overall looked tacky. I had offered to print all my signage on card stock and Victoria said she had it covered. She ended up printing our menus on regular paper, with no design whatsoever, after assuring us "they're so cute and I can't wait for you to see them!" but never sent them to me to preview lol I also made table number signage that she said she'd print on card stock. These were poorly printed and shrunk down and she didn't use our card holders. She said they didn't work....which of course they wouldn't if you used regular paper. I specifically noted they were meant to hold thick card signage. The food was amazing at our trial and tasted horrible the night of. We got candied brussels that were supposed to be sweet and crisped, and what they served was just steamed, hard, and flavorless. Some appetizers used different ingredients. We were told we had table side service and ppl would help pour wine, but no one helped guests, even when they asked. Our venue even had us confirm that Evntwrks would do table side pouring, and now Victoria is claiming they're not allowed to touch alcohol, despite telling me she had it covered. I was able to brush it all off the day of and had a great time, but the cherry on top for me was when I came to pick up my decor and Victoria claimed my guests took everything. I found that hard to believe, as I didn't even see all the decor I provided on the tables. They were bare. She insisted that they took all centerpieces, and when I asked her to pls check their warehouse again, she found multiple of my boxes. I also took inventory of all my things, and she is now claiming I shorted her on decor so they had to use their own. Once again, I've caught them gas lighting me, trying to act like they did me a favor, when she's in fact lying. I gave close to 50 vases prior to the wedding, and she's now saying I gave 31. After finding my boxes, I counted 28 vases. This doesn't even add up if she's claiming "all my guests took vases home" but now its only three vases taken if I supposedly only gave her 31? Doesn't add up. She also gave me boxes back that were empty. I was furious and asked her where the items went that they didn't even use (such as table card holders I provided). She ended up finding them, but it just goes to show how unorganized they are and the lack of care towards other's belongings. She also claimed my flowers were wilted because we took photos hours before the wedding, which is FALSE. I took photos with my husband only thirty minutes before guests started to arrive. No bridesmaids even had their flowers till right before they walked up. I planned on doing stuff with my floral after and sadly cannot. I was also sent a bill to buy them brand new table linens. She claimed guests lit candles after she had told them not to, and they spilled everywhere, damaging their linens. While waiting for guests to arrive I noticed the tips of my candles were black on some tables, and I had never lit them before. Maybe workers lit them prior and realized they shouldn't so they blew them out? I did admit to seeing some guests light them, maybe two tables, but they put them out immediately when Victoria asked. there was not enough time to even accumulate wax to drip. I also dont understand why they don't have funds or insurance to cover things like this? I'd also be more understanding if pictures were provided for proof. Most vendors have a deposit in case of damages. They did offer to waive the fee after I expressed how terrible everything I was. However, this doesn't even cover all the other services that weren't delivered. Upon reviewing our contract, I've also noticed they taxed service charges/gratuity. Still waiting on a response from them in regards to this.. It's one thing to not have everything turn out as planned, but now I'm catching them in lies, which makes it 10x worst for me.

We ran out of alcohol midway through the cocktail hour which is before the reception. I had to DoorDash alcohol to the wedding to make sure we had enough alcohol for the reception. We also ran out of food so some of the wedding guests only ate salad and bread. The quality of food was good; however they did not plan right for food and beverage. If you use this vendor, make sure they order enough food and alcohol for your event because the planner did not plan right and communicate well to external vendors for the the wedding.
