My wife and I have a side hustle on Etsy, so we have been to this Joann's many times. Definitely the best selection and variety of fabric in the state. I love the phone app that lets us know every time there's a big sale, and the sales are quite frequent. Tons of seasonal home decor items. We always seem to come across something we just can't live without...that we only knew existed 5 minutes earlier. LOL Some of the older Joann stores in Utah are quite cramped. I love the wide open layout of this store. Lots of room to maneuver around those shoppers who aren't cart-aware. (You know who you are) The staff here are great. We have never had a negative experience. The cut table is always fast and efficient, while still having time to chat it up. Gotta love friendly service! read more

Very unimpressed. 10 people in line one cashier. 20 minute wait. How about call up an extra cashier or two.

Stopped by Joann's today to get a plate hanger. Heading to the cashier I noticed a long line of people. The poor cashier was trying her best to get people through as fast as possible but was clearly frustrated. As i waited in line the line grew to 12 Plus people. After I left the store I called back in and talked to the Manager on Duty. I explained my frustration to her about only one cashier and how bad i felt for her. The Manager on duty said oh well. Corporate mandates what we can and cannot do and so we only have one cashier. This is horrible customer service in the greatest degree. I suggested that maybe she get on a register and help her out. That not providing customer service on the front end will keep people from coming back. She again said Oh well, corporate will only let us have one cashier. that is the rules. I said well rules are meant to be broken and as a manager she needs to step it up or they will go out of business and she could be looking for a new job! worst manager ever. They lost my business for good. Too mony other places to shop. read more

The quality and prices are always great. But the lady who cut my fabric while I was struggling with my toddler was not. She seemed annoyed and put out that it took me some time to figure out my yards. I explained it was only my second quilt and said thank you for being patient. She rolled her eyes and was very short with me. Will not have Laurie help me again. I was embarrassed and she made it way worse. read more

This is one of the larger craft stores in the area. Their prices overall are slightly higher than Michael's but they seem to have twice the selection so I go often anyways. I've yet to try any of their classes aside from the free presentations. I've done 3 of those. 2 were really well done and one was horrid. They didn't even know they were meant to do it even though they had a sign advertising it. Once they got the stuff out they said they had no instructions on how to do it and were having a hard time figuring it out. There are usually staff members that go around making sure people are finding everything. When I ask them questions they're pretty decent at answering them. read more

BE VERY CAREFUL when using their coupons! Even though the receipt for today's 60%off coupon says it was 60% off, it was only 40% off. Unfortunately, I did not notice before I left the store, so now I have to go back to get my money back. (And usually they put everything on sale so you can't actually use the high % off coupons on most items.) Note there was an earlier review of an issue at this store at the checkout, but the cashier is not the one who programs the coupon code to say 60%off, but only give 40% off. I had another 40% off coupon, but that one was not used; each coupon has a unique code. read more

Just because my great aunt owns the stores isn't my reason for the 5 stars, but I love trolling all stores, because some of the workers make it fun and easy, but most workers are pretty helpful. There are a few that seem to hate their job, and treat customers bad. But it is a over all great place for all your craft needs. Prices are also better then most of all the hobby stores out here in utah. It is a great place worth checking out. read more
