I prefer more modern and trendy patterns and like most quilt shops this one caters to an older demographic with more traditional taste. I did find some very cute fabric but it took some searching. The shop is a bit cluttered and I feel the location at Rainbow Gardens is bizarre! The price for a fat quarter is $3 so I'd say that is comparable to most quilt shops that carry quality fabric. For the fabric selection I'd give this shop a "3." The service is absolutely a "5." The owner was very attentive and helpful. She was giving a lot of help to other patrons but kept coming back to me. I brought my children to the shop with me and the owner gave them candy and she has a little table set up for kids. This was really a bonus because I have no choice but to take my children everywhere with me and I appreciate businesses who understand this and accommodate me. Overall, I would say that there isn't a large selection of fabric that suits my particular taste but they do have a lot of fabric to choose from. I will go back because they do have some good prints and the service is really great.

I love the phone app that lets us know every time there's a big sale, and the sales are quite frequent. Tons of seasonal home decor items. We always seem to come across something we just can't live without...that we only knew existed 5 minutes earlier. LOL Some of the older Joann stores in Utah are quite cramped. I love the wide open layout of this store. Lots of room to maneuver around those shoppers who aren't cart-aware. (You know who you are) The staff here are great. We have never had a negative experience. The cut table is always fast and efficient, while still having time to chat it up. Gotta love friendly service!

The selection of charts, kits, fabric and threads is amazing, and it feels like a lovely old library with soft lighting and wood shelves and file folders. It's a busy place, but I had a chance to chat with one of the owners who was very gracious and welcoming. There were even treats for shoppers, and it's so fun to see and photograph the displays and stitched models that date back many years. The town of Ogden has lovely mountain scenery and a friendly, outdoorsy vibe.
