Horrible service at the Falls of the Neuse Road location in Raleigh, NC. They closed earlier than the time posted online, so we came back during their "revised hours" and they still tried to close early. The closing time they had posted on their doors was 5:00pm. We were at the door at 4:56pm and the doors were all locked. An older lady came to the door and reluctantly let in our teenaged daughter. She then barked out "you have 3 minutes hurry up!" What kind of person yells at a child? Very unprofessional. I wish I could leave zero stars. Do not shop here!

Just in time for the Easter table.

I have a crafting problem and Joann is my favorite place to feed it. Today, I got stuck in the glitter section. It was on sale and I needed more glitter. The store is always well stocked and they have lots of stuff on cleared. I always find something I love and need. Today I went in for one thing for my son's school project and came out with decor my my Easter table setting and of course some glitter.

Every single location has different hours. When you call the store to get their hours, the automated greetings all say 9a-9p & rings to a call center instead of the actual store. Hate I drove 2.5 hours (one way) to this store for it to be closed. Save your time, gas, & money; shop elsewhere. The staff in the store are normally super friendly though, the company just needs to get it together.

#1 sign your pj bottoms are your fave hang-out piece of clothing, let alone to sleep in: one morning, in a sleepy hurry, you accidentally rip out the tie-string on one side. Now, most people who bought this pair of black, very comfy pants off the clearance rack at Gap would have simply tossed them out unless you are Susie Homemaker and have the sew-how know-how to fix them. Being the most non-Susie Homemaker on the planet, I went on the mad hunt to find a replacement tie so I could have them repaired. I found something close at Jo-Ann Fabrics. This is a crafty store for Susie Homemaker -- innumerable types, styles and colors of fabrics, thread, ribbon, patterns, tools and accessories. If this is your type of thing, Jo-Ann's is for you. I found something like I was looking and at a good price. This store's goods isn't my thing, but I was desperate to save my pjs bottoms. The store was rather difficult to navigate and no one seemed to notice or offer to help me. Interesting stuff in the store, though. Update on the pjs: Upon further inspection, the waistband will have to be opened and amazingly I still have the original string that I ripped out. The pjs are currently with a seamstress being repaired. The black almost-replacement string I got at Jo-Ann's will find another use!

Fantastic Joann's. The store is well stocked, laid out well. And the staff are very friendly.

Great selection for a wide variety of things. For a better selection and great prices on upholstery fabric, go to Mill Outlet Village.

I started at the books and immediately found a book I have been looking for, for $5.99 that I could not find for less then $15 even on the used sites. Sold! I found the iced coffee maker with the milk frother I have been looking for for $25. (It's $99 other places.) I did not have time to really go further, and almost got trapped in the clearance Halloween section before making it to checkout. If Ollie's has any flaws, other then it feeling like a thrift store, it would be that the carts can't go outside. Having to haul a large coffee maker box and my bag out to my car was a bit of a feat! Also the lady who checked me out seemed nice but was really put out when I asked for a membership card. I told her, if she didn't want to do it, I could see if I could do it online, but would like a physical card. She finally just signed me up.

This store is pretty big inside; you would never know it by looking at it from outside. It is filled with treasures both big and small. Like any antique store (or like most), it is a bit crowded with items. Personally, I like that. You really are 'hunting' for treasures here. Yesterday I found this beautiful trinket on the floor of a booth...I would have never found it had I been in a rush. I highly recommend you take your time here. Google reviewers seem more critical of Hunt & Gather and its staff...but personally I had a very different experience. On Google, people wrote that staff was following them, being rude, and that this place was overpriced. Now...your mileage may vary...but I found the staff to be extremely kind. They would check in on me a couple times just to see if I needed help, but largely let me do my own hunting in peace. I think some items are certainly pricey and I can't quite understand why, but by and large I found the prices to be competitive. For example, you can get an entire Noritake china set (with 12 settings!) for $450. Anywhere else this could go easily for $700+. You can buy some dupes at HomeGoods for sure, but HomeGoods aint that cheap -- and I'd argue some of the pieces here are priced even more competitively than HomeGoods. I bought 3 chinoiserie vases/jars yesterday (at ~$30 a pop) and am soooo enamored by them. All in all, I'd recommend you swing by especially if you're furnishing, or refurnishing, your home. There are some really nice things here....and I think I may come by every now and then just to see what's in stock!

We heard about Mission Bungalow from our good Ole Pal GOOGLE, after typing in the search bar, "furniture stores near me", while sitting outside Raleigh Raw Juice Bar & Cafe, eating our sushi burrito and drinking our berry smoothie. Upon completion of our lunch, Google maps, without fail, guided us to Mission Bungalow's exact location. After walking into the store, we were immediately greeted by Mark, the owner. We let Mark know that we had been doing some minor research on bedroom sets but could not find what we wanted. After listening to us describe our style and what we wanted, he began to show us their gallery. Mark was extremely kind and patient with us, especially since our indecisiveness and ADHD was in full swing, going out of his way to make sure we had what we were looking for and explaining all the different designs and styles, especially with the different woods and stains. He was straight forward and honest with the time frame at which products are being delivered and when we would expect our new furniture. We were definitely there past closing time, and really appreciated the time Mark gave us. Mission Bungalow is true to their word.
