LYFT BAIT AND SWITCH 12/09/2024…read more Driver's/LYFT's directions app was w-a-a-a-y off! Driven to two different *wrong* addresses, then driven *back* to *first* wrong address before the driver *finally* used *my* app to locate the *correct* address. *Then* the driver insisted on calling my cousin to be *guided in*! I was charged the *additional* cost for that wandering ride--plus the *additional* tip percentage I calculated from that--the entirety of which they refused to refund! I was *over* 1/2 an hour late for a 5:00-7:15 PM dinner with my cousin--whom I hadn't seen in *seven* years--before I had to leave for the airport. On *top* of which, I had to have my cousin's *wife* drive me on my return trip--to catch my plane, which they had already started boarding by the time I *ran* there--because my *return* LYFT driver *never found* the place at all, but charged *me* for that too! I mean who's the common denominator here? So for that "no-show/cancellation" fee--on *their* part--*I* was charged $10 to be credited toward my "next" ride; like there would ever *be* a next ride . . . with *LYFT*!
