Living out in the sticks, it is not that easy to grab an Uber/Lyft... particularly given the coronavirus pandemic. I did a bit of research and this company popped up with solid reliable reviews. I mean, there is nothing like knowing you have to get to the airport by a certain time and not feeling confident in your transportation. I booked in advance, so I received a discount - 1 way - just me was $60. Pretty good price given I live in the southeastern most part of Vail south of the 10. Definitely great in comparison to car services I have used in bigger cities. The driver called me to confirm he was on his way. He arrived in a very comfortable vehicle and on time. He was opened the door for me (score extra points) on both arrivals. He was super engaging and really nice, and got me safely to the airport. I really found 520 Express impressive from start to finish. I will definitely use again when I need it! read more

The person who answered the phone was rude, arrogant and condescending. I have a close family member traveling, whose flight was cancelled and rescheduled last minute, so yes, we are last minute looking for airport transportation. I received a lecture about how this was a last minute choice and my options were limited. When I attempted to ask about safety, the person on the phone (again, condescending) referred me to the reviews and said, "we wouldn't have been in business this long if we weren't good." (paraphrasing). Mid-conversation, I even tried to suggest that tact would be of benefit to the service, but the guy just doubled down on being a royal jerk. Thankfully, we found another way to get my loved one home. These days, I find such poor customer service everywhere. I can't write a review for each one. But this one particularly made me feel very bad. I suggest to the manager/owner to find someone else to provide phone service. I called at ~ 9:20 EST and spoke with a gentleman. I would have wholeheartedly recommended this shuttle service--until today. Their reservations person was incredibly rude to me via email while we were attempting to work out details of a reservation to bring my husband (and his luggage) home from a year-long military deployment. I'm offended enough that I'll be looking for a different shuttle service in the future. It's too bad, because I've had two very good previous experiences with this company. But not good enough to excuse the treatment I received from their "customer service" representative this morning. I have NEVER made a bad review in my life but I just called and talked to Jason to try and get my friend a pre arranged urgent flight transportation because we had a sudden death in the family this morning. When I told him I could call him back with a credit card in shortly he scolded me, raised his voice at me. I was very clear this was a sudden difficult moment due to a dear friend passing this morning-after his behavior I would never put my grieving friend in his businesses hands. Wow, well based on the obnoxious response from the company, you can all see what kind of psychopaths run this car service. That pretty much says it all! Here was my original review: RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL!! I'm shaking right now. Wow, I used this service once in the past to pick up my daughter from U of A to take her to the airport and it was fine, so for her upcoming trip home, I submitted a reservation late last night (it was midnight my time, 1am in Tucson, so I didn't expect a confirmation immediately). Anyway, I called this morning at 11am Tucson time to follow up and make sure they got it and the guy who picked up was INCREDIBLY RUDE. First, he insisted that there was no reservation. Then he looked up my name and insisted that I only requested a quote. I told him I submitted my credit card and he said I didn't. Then I gave him my email and he saw that I did, in fact, put in my credit card but he was still incredibly defensive at my calling to follow up because I'd put in the request late at night and he said it wasn't even noon in Tucson yet. He said (loudly, obnoxiously) "it hasn't even been 12 hours!" Well, I live in L.A., and business usually starts much earlier (and most of the time when you put in a cc you get an automatic response), so I didn't think calling to follow up at 11am was that outrageous, and I wasn't rude to him at all - I was very nice, literally just calling to see if they received it. (Why would I be rude - they're going to be driving my daughter!) Anyway, he was so nasty and yelling and talking over me that I asked him to please cancel my reservation. I also asked his name in case my card ends up being charged and I need to follow up, and he yelled "John Doe." So I can't even follow up and tell them who I spoke to. Who needs that kind of business!? Go elsewhere. Courtesy and professionalism matter. (Follow up - I called to speak to the owner, Jason, because I was still very upset. I noticed others have had terrible customer service issues as of late as well and wanted to make sure he was aware. First, Jason asked how long it had been between my submitting the request online and my follow up call - I still don't understand why it's a problem to follow up on an internet submission the following morning at 11am? I wasn't harassing them for not emailing back yet, literally just checking to see if they received it. Is that something to get angry at a customer about? Anyway, Jason said he would review the incident only IF I took down my review. I said I'd consider taking down my review AFTER he looked into it and got back to me and he said no, the damage has already been done. So I guess I'll leave this up permanently. I see I'm not the only one who has been treated this way.) read more

Highly recommended! I needed to leave for Tucson Airport promptly at 4:00am, and the indifference of the first two taxi services I called left me a little doubtful that I'd actually be able to leave on time. 520 Express was my third call, but they'll be my first from now on - their professionalism on the phone alone was already miles ahead of your usual cab service. Better yet, that professionalism extended further than just the reservation call. 520 Express called to confirm my reservation - and then called again just prior to arriving at the house. Their car was in my driveway, with the trunk & backdoor open, a few minutes before 4:00am. The car itself was clean, the driver was awesome (no small feat at 4am), and the price was right. I travel quite a bit and I have to say that this was one of the only car services I've ever used that has made a really positive impression. 520 Express seems to have a great focus on customer service, and the positive approach to their business really shines through. Very friendly and helpful customer service! I needed a 4:30am pick up to take me to the airport. I called another company MLB which had good reviews, I asked if I could be picked up at 4:30am and the man on the other end exclaimed, "uh no, no way" as though he was shocked anyone would need to be picked up at that time...so I was very relieved when I spoke to the man on the other end of 520 transportation, who acted like it was no big deal! He was helpful and read back my reservation for pick up to confirm he had all the information correct. I'll edit my post to see how my pick up goes. But so far, A+ interaction! read more

This is a great service! The driver met my wife as she left the secure area and collected her bags, then transported them to the Town car he arrived in. He was courtious and knowledgeable. This is the second time I used this service for my wife and both times were great. I am a world traveler. I've used countless limo and transport services globally. 520 Express is quite probably the BEST transport service I have ever used. I would classify this service more as a limousine service. Very fair rate. Immaculate Lincoln SUV. My driver/chauffer Jason is/was superb. I wish there were 3 more stars I could give on 520 Express. I found 520 Express by looking on YELP as I usually do to see a company's track record. As usual exceeded my expectations. On time, courteous , friendly, picked up in a Lincoln SUV with plenty of room for me and the Mrs, and our luggage. Make sure you book early to get the best price. We had a early departure from Saddlebrooke to Tucson Airport and Jason the driver showed up 15 minutes earlier than requested. Jason had called me a half hour earlier to let me know he was on his way On our return trip I contacted 520 Express by phone to let them know when we boarded our plane in Newark, NJ. , since we had a connection to make in Denver, then to Tucson. Our original expected arrival in Tucson was 11:40 PM in the evening, which is what we originally booked. Well we arrived in Denver on time, our connecting flight was delayed by Southwest Airlines due to weather, and our new expected arrival time was 2:55 AM,(YES 2:55 AM) I kept in constant contact by phone with Jessy the other driver of the company who was suppose to be doing the 11:40 PM pick up and told him of our expected ETA. He said he would pass the info to the other driver. Well, I can tell you WE WERE REALLY SURPRISED AND EXTREMELY HAPPY when we did arrive in Tucson at 2:55 AM there was Jason the driver, smiling, professionally dressed, and ready to grab our luggage off the luggage carousel. I found there price very competitive among other companies in the area. But, 520 Express blows everyone else off the charts for DEPENDABILITY. I had given 520 all my flight information, and they could track it easily, but I highly recommend keep in constant phone contact with 520 with your flight status especially when you have connecting flights. 520 Express will be the only company I used from now on. They also go to Sky Harbor Airport, so in case you have a diversion to that location they will pick you up. They also drive to Sky Harbor to drop off. read more

I will never use an airport shuttle in Tucson again. It really doesn't get any better than 520 Express. Waiting for me before I got outside TUS to help me with my bags when I got to Tucson and showed up right when they said they would when I was heading back to the airport. Both drivers were as friendly as can be, driving nice clean vehicles and the rate from TUS to Green Valley was low enough to make me want to tip them bigger than I normally would. Even trust them enough to give my elderly mother their business card for when she comes to visit us. I know they will take good care of her. read more

Best way to get to/from Tucson International. These guys are pronto. They call 30 minutes before pickup time, are prompt and take you door to door. Prices are reasonable too. Our driver, Shawn, was polite, courteous and gets an A+ from us for customer service. Only one suggestion for the company's image and branding, get the van's body work completed. That dented driver door doesn't make a good first impression. I'm giving them a 5 though based on their exceptional customer service. We will definitely use them again. read more

I called 520 and told them of my predicament. He made an exception to their pre-arrangement policy for me, and was there within 15 minutes of my call. His car was spotless! You know that little hole-in-the-wall restaurant where the food is sooo good, and the place is family owned and run? Now apply that to this 520 Express Taxi. Always personable, always prompt and personable, and clean. When I drive myself to the airport, I have a zillion things on my mind- what did I forget, did I get the chargers, will there be a traffic snarl.... With 520 Express Taxi, they have a handle on the traffic, flight info, alternate routes, etc. so I get to sit back, relax, and enjoy seeing the city. 520 Express - no stress! read more

Tucson Airport Cab by 520 Express notes on Yelp that one may submit a on-line request for a cost estimate. I thought this was great, because I had left my phone somewhere and only had access to my laptop to make reservations for shuttle service to the airport!. However, when attempting to communicate with 520 Express via email, in which I provided all necessary info (location/time/date of pickup & delivery), I received an email response FROM THE OWNER rudely stating that I had to call to get a cost estimate. I then explained that I did not have access to a phone, but I was still told to call to make a reservation. It did work out to my favor, though, as I found a great shuttle service that is both professional and courteous, and I will most likely be using them for future travel needs (as I am an avid traveler). I DO NOT recommend Tucson Airport Cab by 520 Express! They are unprofessional, dishonest in their advertising and provide poor customer service! read more

Call 520 Express now! You will never use another car service again. I commute to/from Chicago every other week and have used them every single time for 6 months. Dependable , reliable, friendly, cost-conscious, personalized service at all hours of the day or nite. The smiling faces of Jason or Jesse greet me at ridiculously early hours in the morning or late at nite, making my commute bearable. I am actually sad to be ending my commute for the summer but will see them again in the fall. I could go on and on but just call them and see. This is the best airport service to/from Tucson International Airport. We used to use AZ Stagecoach before they went under, but 520 Express provided far better service for only a few dollars more. Got picked up in a Lincoln Town Car and taken straight to TIA, with no stops to pick up anyone else. Our driver, Jesse, was very friendly and took great care of us, at the airport as well as the ride in. No way could I go back to using shuttle van services now.
