However.... I also asked for a siding estimate and was told he would call me back later that night or the next day with the estimate. After 10 days and 3 calls from ME to him, I FINALLY got a return call on a Friday night at 8pm with the estimate, and the explanation that "the siding guy was out of town on a funeral and he couldn't get a hold of him..." - While I thought it was a little unprofessional that he didn't call me to update me on that, I decided ...ok a funeral - I'll give the benefit of the doubt on that, and I told him that I'd like his company to do the roofing and siding. He told me that he would get in touch with me in the next couple of days after he got a date from the siding guy. That was May 2 (which I'm sure he can confirm on his googlevoice) I called several times in the 2 weeks following, and always got sent to voice mail, somtimes it didn't even ring 1 whole time and he sent my calls directly to voicemail - NEVER returning my calls once (I ALSO have googlevoice, so i CAN confirm this...) Finally after 2 weeks, I decided that even if he did return my call, I couldn't trust him to be reliable and I was going to seek out additional estimates and find a new company... which I did, and had my roof done (by Demoss and Sons for more than $1000 LESS too actually) just 2 days after I had the estimate and signed the contract !! Much better!!! So I'm thinking this guy must not have wanted my business, I told him I WANTED TO HIRE him, and he totally blew me off. Believe it or not on May 30, literally 28 DAYS AFTER I called and said I'd like his company to do the roof/siding he calls me and leaves a nonchalant voicemail saying "Hey this is Reed with Murrays, just calling to see if next week would be an ok time to start your project" - SERIOUSLY???? 28 DAYS LATER!??!?? Why would you even bother calling me back at this point?!?? What kind of customer service is that??? HORRIBLE!!! If you can't count on them to call you back after you've expressed that you WANT to hire them.... how can you count on them to show up and get the job done correctly!!! We had big Ike's come out and look at our roof because we were having a leak. He climbed up onto…read morethe roof for about five minutes, said they fixed the issue and charged us $450 for it. At the time we also had them install a gutter along the front of the house, which was another $450. Immediately we realized the leak was still happening so called them to come back out. He came back out twice, told us he couldn't find the source of the leak, and when I asked him what I should do he said "no idea" and left it at that. I had another roofing company come out and they diagnosed the issue. They showed me where big Ike's just slapped a bunch of silicone on the roof in spots and hoped it fixed the issue. The new roofing company was able to fix the leak. We then noticed that the gutter Big Ike's installed seem to be collecting ice. I had another gutter company come out and take a look. Big Ike's had sloped the gutter incorrectly and installed the pipe inside out and upside down. It all has to be ripped off and redone. I am furious.

If I could leave zero stars, I would…read more Roofing PD replaced our roof in 2023. During a home inspection last week, the inspector identified damage to our chimney that appeared to be related to the roofing work. I contacted Roofing PD on September 9. Their representative Hunter confirmed to me that they had before-and-after photos from the roofing project and acknowledged that their crew had damaged the chimney. I was then contacted by the owner, John. Despite what I had just been told by his representative, John insisted there was "zero proof" that Roofing PD caused the damage and said there was nothing they would do for us. I found his manner aggressive, argumentative, and completely dismissive of my concerns. What is especially troubling is the contradiction: I was first told by a Roofing PD representative that they had before-and-after photographs and that the chimney had been damaged during their work, only to then have the owner tell me there was no proof and refuse to address it. We trusted Roofing PD to replace our roof properly and to leave our home in good condition. Discovering this damage years later was upsetting enough. The way our concern was handled after we brought it to their attention was even more disappointing. Based on both the unresolved damage and our experience trying to address it with the company, I cannot recommend Roofing PD.

Unfortunately, we were pushed out to the end of September, our job took 9+ days spread out over months, and phone call after phone call to the office and our sales rep asking to be put on the schedule. *FIVE* months later, our job has been completed. We were not scheduled for any part of our job unless we asked to be. We also had been told someone would be on site to start the project and talk to the workers, that did not happen. I had to be outside and do any communication. Skylights- we didn't even know someone was at the house and a skylight was removed and then reattached (multiple times). The bay window guys didn't bother knocking or letting my wife know they were there. Gutters had to be replaced due to ladder damage. Siding had to be repainted. The bay window metal required a callback to fix bent metal. One side of our chimney remains unpainted (they pulled off part of it). To top it off, our hydrangea bush was cut/broke? in half. We were extremely frustrated- from lack of communication, lack of scheduling, lack of materials, damage we have had to request fixing for, materials ordered in wrong sizes multiple times. I do not understand why our 1 day job has extended up to 5 months and why we have needed to continually ask to get each step done. Roofing PD has glowing reviews and we were very impressed from the start, but once the deposit was paid, we have faced issues at every step. We do not recommend this company and are so glad this is finally over.
