John McCarter Construction - Brand new window!

We just finished a relatively large project. All new Hardie siding, new gutters, new front door,…read morenew Pella patio doors. We compared with several different companies and decided with John McCarter and I am glad we did. Our experience started with Clyde, who really did win this deal for them. He was the ONLY one who brought us any kind of mock up for our house, offered design suggestions, and even gave us advice for our roof for a future project. I highly suggest you ask for him. He explained the entire project and how it would work. Next we worked with James, who did final field measures. And double crossed the t's and dotted the i's to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted before they ordered. We very much appreciated this. While we were working with James, we had an attic inspection done by Jim who caught a leak in our attic! So added bonus, always better to find that sooner. When you have a project this large, things ARE GOING to go wrong. The important thing is how does the company handle things when they go wrong. And I can give nothing but the highest praise to this company and specifically our Project Manager John Giese in this regard. He always got in front of every issue, quickly communicated everything and kept the project on track The job is split into separate crews, Vas was the Forman for the actual siding. And to this day I can't believe how fast and efficient his crew was. The gutter team of Hunter, Aubrey, and Jason were quick and offered great guidance! Helped us consolidate a downspout! One less for me to step on! Tony came out and quickly fixed our before mentioned attic leak. Dan and Josh took fantastic care of us when installing all our doors. They spent extra time making sure they were PERFECT. They also did painting work to fix some issues with the siding. Julio and Jeicob made our house truly look BRAND NEW!

Seghi Renovations far exceeded my expectations and now I experienced the reason for their success. Jim Seghi came to our home to help with a bathroom shower remodel. He measured everything and then had us to his office to select tiles, grout, etc. using Jim's artistic abilities as a guide in making our selections. He's got great taste and keeps "a 20 year view during his selections" (not wanting us to buy something that would go out of style quickly). We got to witness the teamwork the group has at Seghi Renovations while several employees were in the office the day we were there. It felt like a family gathering. They check with you frequently during the project to see if there are any concerns or revisions. Great customer service!!

Jim and his design staff took our idea to a whole new level, which really allowed us to get the best use of the space within the budget we provided. You feel important to them no matter how big or small your project is. From Jim and his staff and all the contractors that worked our project, all they strived to do was make sure we were happy. Contractors were professional and got the job done in a timely fashion. Work area was spruced up at the end of each work day which is always nice. I would highly recommend Jim and his team and would definitely use them again for future projects.

    Roof-Rite, Inc. - 2026 Damage

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND using Roof-Rite!! We had Roof-Rite replace our roof in 2018/2019. Before…read morethe replacement, I lived here about 10 years prior, I've never had any interior leaking until AFTER they replaced the roof. We've complained about it to Roof-Rite when we noticed water coming inside (2021). They did send out someone to "check", but they never found anything obvious, yet it was still leaking into the interior. I emailed Roof-Rite in 2022 about this issue the next winter, when it leaked again and explained this, but they basically told me to "go pound sand", because it was "an act of God" and they won't cover any damage. It wasn't until we had an exterminator out to capture a squirrel in our attic about 3 years ago, that the exterminator found a huge hole in the overhang/soffit crevice that butts up directly to the upper roof (house with upper & lower roofs, with multiple conjoined areas). This is where the squirrel was getting in. The exterminator did the best he could to fix it, and it was fine for a few years. Although, it's leaking again in 2026. Keep in mind, we've had extremely mild winters here in 2019 & 2020, along with 2022, 2023 & 2024, until this winter, 2025/2026. So, why was it that the exterminator, back in 2022, found a hole in that area that allowed squirrels to enter the attic space, and also allowed water intrusion? Roof-Rite would've found it, had they done their due diligence. Instead, the deflected, as if it was my fault and that I'm on my own. The common denominator here is Roof-Rite, and the lack of quality work/diagnosis, AFTER they did the work and were paid. Roof-Rite made it clear that they wouldn't do anything.
