Outstanding staff at this location! Thank you especially to Cody; a true professional who fixed my…read moreissue in about 5 minutes. Here's the full story... I originally had my oil changed at this grease monkey location about 6 months ago. I then moved to south Denver so naturally, I did not return here for my next change. I went to a jiffy lube instead where they changed the oil but not the filter! They told me that grease monkey had overtightened the filter (and possibly caused some damage). They advised me to return to grease monkey and ask them fix it. They even said to have grease monkey "give them a call" if I ran into any issues... as if that would help anything. I was pretty pissed off about the whole situation. I came back to grease monkey fully expecting them to be unable to remove the filter and then to blow me off and place the blame on jiffy lube. To my surprise, Cody had the filter off in about 30 seconds. He charged me $8 total for the service, the new filter, and to top off my oil. Clearly, the employees at jiffy lube were incompetent and then had the gall to scapegoat someone else while charging me full price for their terrible service. Definitely won't be returning there. But I'm glad to know the staff at grease monkey will take care of me!

I am so happy to have found a reliable and knowledgeable mechanic. I had a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee…read morethat kept having issues (RIP Lorraine, she saved us in the wreck, though). Phil came out to me and diagnosed my issue. He was thorough and took his time. Many mechanics rush in order to maximize their time, but Phil is methodical in his work. He even once talked me through fixing a coolant hose on the phone while I was on the side of the road because he was working on a vehicle at the time and couldn't come to me. WHO DOES THAT?! He and his wife even came out to me in a parking lot to diagnose and fix my jeep when it wasnt starting. (I loved that car but, man, did she have a lot of problems). He changed the brakes, the water pump & thermostat, any oil change, and fixed the AC. I appreciate the detailed messages he sends and transparent (and extremely fair) pricing. He never tries to upsell a service that's not needed and shows that he cares about you and your car. I can tell this isn't just a business to him, but a passion for helping people. I've been going to him for any service I need and recommend him to anyone I know who needs service. I now have an Audi Q5 and he can even service that vehicle which is amazing and rare to find. I don't see myself taking any car I own to anyone else. We all need a solid, dependable, honest, and fair mechanic in our crew so go to him. Thank you, Phil!

He came out, took his time, and really worked through it instead of rushing. You can tell he actually cares about doing things the right way. He got everything apart, helped swap out the solenoids, filter, and put everything back together clean. Even though we ended up confirming it's likely a deeper internal issue (3-4 clutch pack), I really appreciated his honesty and thoroughness instead of just throwing parts at it. His pricing was more than fair, especially considering how much time he spent on it. Hard to find someone that detailed and patient these days. Definitely recommend if you need a solid, knowledgeable mechanic who won't cut corners. I will be using him for ANY future needs.

I was intimidated…read moreabout filing my first ever insurance claim, especially because I usually do my own auto work with friends and didn't have a relationship with a pro shop, but I wanted an inspection with the extra thoroughness that a pro shop provides. Mountain View was suggested to me, and I'm beyond grateful for it! Not only were these guys incredibly reassuring the first time I spoke with them, but they also were very patient about holding onto my truck while I dealt with the claims process. They advocated to my insurance adjuster on my behalf, identified (and clearly explained) safety-related repairs that I needed beyond what the accident caused, helped me cherry-pick which work I needed them to do versus things I could do myself later, and then went even more above and beyond with gracious pricing so that I could afford the necessary urgent work (which was done awesomely quickly once the plan was decided). Jeremy, the shop manager, was the first staff member I spoke at length with, and he's the exact kind of experienced gruff hardened tradesman that puts one at ease. My ongoing main point of contact was Nate, who is also wonderfully knowledgable and kind; both guys really made me feel certain that they were looking out for my best interests. Further, they showed sincere concern about my dogs and me being displaced, and genuine joy when I assured them that we'd been able to stay somewhere safe. Knowing my truck was in good hands (and that they were helping advocate about my claim) helped me be less stressed, which in turn helped me keep my semester grades up while the truck was dealt with. I can't thank MVA enough, or commend them highly enough. I'm thrilled to have a relationship with this awesome shop now, and will absolutely continue shouting them from the rooftops, as well as returning to them in the future for all repairs I can't or don't want to handle myself!

I trusted this shop to maintain my vehicle and specifically requested recommended maintenance to…read morekeep it reliable. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. After servicing my vehicle, they failed to identify or properly address issues that ultimately resulted in catastrophic engine failure. When the vehicle was later inspected by another shop, I was informed the engine had severe sludge buildup, was low on oil, and contained metal shavings. I was then faced with replacing the engine at a cost of thousands of dollars. What has been most frustrating is the lack of accountability. As a customer, I relied on their expertise and paid for professional maintenance because I am not a mechanic. Had the necessary services been performed or I been properly informed of the vehicle's condition, I believe this failure could have been avoided. I understand that mechanical failures can happen, but customers deserve competent service, honest communication, and accountability when serious concerns arise. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.
