Sketchy to say the least. Took our car in for an inspection, which they ended up charging us for without communicating the fees when we dropped the car off. They quoted us for a transmission replacement, which was high. We took the car to get a second opinion and found out there was a lot more going on. They were going to charge us to replace transmission without mentioning the other extensive issues going on, which ended up totaling the car. If we had used Alexs for transmission work, the car would have broken down soon after. Dont trust these guys! read more

Cheaters and lier. Alex the owner, or Sam the lead mechanic are liers and purposely sabotage my vehicle for future mechanical failures . They did $3000 of work that they purposely misdiagnosed and simply, purposely drained power steering gearbox assembly leaving no fluids, purposely put wrong size oil filter, so they could misdiagnosed another oil leak a week later. They put aquarium hose in place of automotive hose. After 2 weeks of destroying my handicapped van that I live in , yah I'm an elderly handicapped man on a fixed income, I took the vehicle to another mechanic and he rework over 7 purposely sabotaged area. Cost me $3.000 . The whole time Alex would bs me with born again Christian nonsense. The service I requested was to get my 2006 Jeep Cherokee computer module replaced, I came back to pick my car up to find out that they put a whole liberty Jeep computer in my grand Cherokee and set my car up for worse future mechanical failures my breaks locked up completely the car shut off and would not work they totaled my car from me being able to drive it all! Worst auto shop experience in my life they are liars they don't know how to work on cars let alone what parts are the right ones for a certain car! Horrible service read more

Hi guys, got my car diagnosed here and following that I replaced the faulty part, fault still on after paying a lot of money, change more parts and still same issue, after checking with a different garage to found out that a part that cost 30e was causing this, they are absolutely butchers and I'm sorry to say that despite all the fake good reviews. I heard after that from another 2 friends that similar thing they done to them, putting customer to change parts that are not necessary, a typical practice in all this type of garages. They said to bring my car in for a diagnostic, told me the price that my oil change would be but failed to mention at any point that the diagnostic was $100 until I went to pay. They definitely took advantage of me. Make sure you ask the price of everything they suggest you get done. read more

Alex was outstanding. He helped me diagnose and reset the software on my vehicle that was causing all kinds of problems. He quoted me a diagnostic fee and after he cleared up the issues quickly he declined payment because the diagnosis was not that extensive. The guy saved me a bundle with a quick fix. Other mechanics may have spent a week changing out components. He had me and my family on our way. I highly recommend the slight turn off to the industrial park where his shop is. I'm going to start off by saying I've never left a review for anything in my life, but I'm making an exception for Alex. By far the worst mechanic experience I've ever had. He texted me a list of things I needed done, so like most people I had some questions. Alex ignored all my questions and just sent me a confusing breakdown of the prices. I specifically told him EXACTLY wanted I want done on my car. No response. Sent a few more text messages with questions that are just ignored again. I call and I'm informed a part hasn't come in yet. Cool. Next day I hear nothing until they're about to close. He calls with prices higher than expected. Turns out Alex decided to install rear brakes on my car that I specifically said not to do. Apparently, Alex decided for me what I needed to pay for. Alex doesn't offer to lower the price at all for their mistake. So, I pay for the work done because I believe that's the right thing to do. My initial impression when arriving at Alex Auto Repair was one of apprehension. There were two open garage doors of a large warehouse "strip mall" cluttered with grease stained items strewn about. I had to walk into the garage and get a mechanics attention and he told me that the owner would be back in a few minutes to take care of my pre-purchase inspection. After a short time, the owner (who I presume was Alex) returned to the shop and without any hesitation, grabbed the keys to my prospective purchase and took it for a test drive, returned after a few minutes, popped the hood and searched, like a Bloodhound chasing a scent, for any defects. Shortly thereafter, he brought myself and the vehicle's owner to the engine compartment and gave a non biased assessment of the vehicles condition and a quote as to what the cost of repair would be. There were times when the seller would speak to Alex in Spanish and Alex would immediately translate their exchange and make a point to speak in English, as it was the common language for all parties involved. I ended up buying the vehicle at a fair price and I feel that much of that had to do with bringing it to this shop for inspection. I am definitely considering taking my vehicle back to him to have further maintenance completed. The only thing that is keeping me is the distance from my home as I don't live near the eastern Denver suburbs. read more

My transmission started slipping about 3 weeks ago and I had a hard time finding someone to diagnose and fix the problem. I'm new to Colorado so I didnt know where to start and was just going to attempt to get a new car that I couldnt afford. I found Alex information on a local Facebook community group. He told me to bring my car in and I will have it back in 2 days. I took my car in around 6pm Monday evening and they were done rebuilding and replacing the transmission in my car shortly after noon on Wednesday.
