My experience with JMC BMW Automotive was outstanding, transparent, and exceptionally fast! Manny, the owner, is simply a Wizard. I have an X3, he made certain to take it out of the danger zone and into safety. The JMC BMW Crew worked their magic and I am very appreciative and grateful of their stellar service! Manny is down to earth, caring, and super funny! I like that he values correspondence and takes the time to prioritize what is emergent versus urgent versus 'can be done later down the line' if you are strapped financially. I did not feel pressured, I felt he could feel my anxiety related with the troubles of my car and took the time to walk me through the safety issues of my car. He patiently listened to my description of issues, swiftly identified the major problems, then calculated the likely costs. It was pleasant to speak with Manny. Upon retrieving my car after all of the requested work was finished, may I also add that it was completed lightning fast, he popped the hood open to reveal a sight that would make any mechanic squeal with delight... it looked amazing! My car is now safe and runs smoothly like a dream. I had the following accomplished on my car: - oil + filter changed - oil valve cover replaced - radiator replaced - valvetronic actuator replaced - brake pads/sensors replaced - brake fluid flushed - windshield pump replaced I thank you, Manny and your quality crew! It is difficult, I feel, to find a trusted mechanic that is passionate and compassionate, understanding, and has a highly skilled team which specializes in BMW's. I look forwards to maintenance of my X3 with Manny at JMC BMW Automotive. read more

I've been working with Manny for years now, and I can't recommend him enough. I first met him when he was running a mobile clinic and doing house calls, and I'm so glad to see he's now set up shop in South Bay. I've been bringing my cars to him ever since, and every time, I'm reminded of just how rare it is to find someone as honest and skilled as Manny and his staff. He is beyond fair with his pricing, and his recommendations are always grounded in truth -- never pushing unnecessary services like you might experience elsewhere. Just recently, South Bay BMW quoted me $12k for a repair. I brought it to Manny, and not only did he provide a much more reasonable price, but the work was top-notch. If you want a professional who truly understands his craft and treats customers with respect, Manny is the one to go to. Quality service at a fraction of the cost, and always with integrity. read more

1st timer here! I happened to get a business card placed on my car while at work, and it was perfect timing because I was in search for a place to get an estimate for brake pads to be replaced. I had an appointment at my local pep boys the following day but after meeting Manuel and seeing how professional and knowledgeable he was about BMWs I went ahead and cancelled and decided to try JMC BMW out. What sold it for me was that he was able to tell me exactly what I needed without charging me a fee to do a diagnostic test like other shops. Also, he was able to order the parts and squeeze me in same day. I was in and out in an hour and my car is running so smooth now! I'm a happy customer and will definitely be returning. Thank you Manuel and to all your staff! See you next time read more

I found Manuel after taking my car to the dealership to address a failed DSC module. They gave me a very expensive estimate for the parts and labor, prompting my search for a trusted local mechanic with specialized equipment. I came across many positive reviews for JMC BMW and gave Manuel a call. He was very professional and responsive over the phone, suggesting I bring my car in to scan it and evaluate the problem. He was able to diagnosis the issue, source the new module, and perform all the necessary labor for a third of the dealership's estimate. His communication throughout the process was great. Plus he provided a one year/10,000 mile warranty on the part. I am very happy with my overall experience and Manuel is now my trusted local mechanic in the South Bay. read more

I'm honestly so happy I found this mechanic! He was super professional and communicated really well the whole time. He told me when my car would be done--and it actually was done right on time. That alone impressed me. What really stood out was that he even checked in with me after the repairs to make sure everything was running smoothly. On top of that, he let me borrow a car while mine was getting fixed, which was such a huge help. While I was there, I talked to another customer who said she's been coming to him for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. That really said a lot to me. I can definitely say the same now, I've found my go-to mechanic, and it feels great to have someone I can trust, especially for BMWs. Couldn't be happier! read more

I own a 2000 BMW 528i with a manual trans in very good original condition, that I've had for many yeas and love driving it - perhaps the last "5-speed" I'll ever own. Recently, it's been unable to pass smog due to the check engine light being on. I took it to several BMW "Specialists" who had diagnosed it with several ailments, including a failed "DISA" valve and the estimates to "fix" the check engine light ran into the thousands. One guy suggested that I send the car to the wrecking yard (YIKES!). Based on all of the good reviews, I brought it to JMC and Manny was awesome! He immediately found out that the car had been mis-diagnosed - the DISA valve was fine and all that it needed was a minor solenoid/valve. Also understanding that spending thousands on a 27-year-old car wasn't going to work, he fixed me up with a used part and my $300 repair turned-off my check engine light and got the car to pass smog! No junk yard for me!! My feeling is that nobody else would have done this - THANKS SO MUCH MANNY. JMC is great, Manny is professional, understanding, very communicative - and just a nice guy. Bring them your Beemer - you won't be sorry! read more

I've been taking my car to my uncle shop for years. He doesn't specialize in bmws but my car is paid off so I didn't care. I felt like I was at his shop every 2 months. I hated bmw. I would always need to leave my car for 3 days minimum, which I understand. They had to get the part. I took my car here and got it worked on the same day. Within 2 hours for what I needed. Manuel broke down the prices, the process, what they looked for, what I needed. I felt comfortable. I cross referenced everything with my dad since he's worked on my car too (I'm cheap). All in all, I'll return. Well I have to; there's other things I need done that I didn't feel like waiting for. I was on my way to eat before my car started acting up. They have a nice waiting room. Plush couches, tea and coffee, even wifi! read more

I've been bringing my X1 here since the warranty was up and Manuel and his crew are the best! Manuel is upfront with what is needed and what can wait- as well as transparent with prices for parts/labor. Great communication with photos. Fast service/turnaround time. I have been servicing all my BMW's with JMC (Manny) since 2015 the most honest mechanic shop, and great prices! I've saved thousands of dollars. The service is excellent. I will definitely recommend JMC BMW. Thank you! read more

Very bad service. The guy messed up my car more than it was in the first place. He knows how he tried to scam us and change prices and all that. He did something to my BMW. He can respond to this if he wants but he messed with the wrong person because I am reporting him to every business I can. He is wrong for what he done. I didn't get that 5 star service. I'm sure he has to take parts from some cars in order to fix others so he picks who he will scam. I do not recommend this place. No receipts, you might have your car parts stolen or broken on purpose. He might even promise original parts but the parts are from other vehicles that probably are left there when the client just can no longer pay for repairs. You can't mess with people lives like that. You don't know their situations. People put their trust in you based on reviews. You jeopardize people lives because of the scam technique. Zero stars from me.. read more

all business isn't good business and i knew better because of our prior experiences. i would never recommend this shop to anyone and only advice is..."buyer be aware"! i didn't like the service, i didn't agree with the price and what i didn't appreciate the most was when the car remained with the same issues after going with his recommendations!! all bad! only gave one star because it wouldn't allow me to put a negative star! read more

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have met a genuine, honest and trustworthy mechanic/team. I was experiencing issues with my BMW for the first time ever and was told it's an alternator issue by the tow truck driver, turns out after having Manuel run diagnostics on my car that this was not the issue after-all. Highly recommend this shop and Manuel for any issues pertaining to a BMW. Manuel will be honest and straightforward with any issues, pricing etc. I will be returning for a brake fluid flush, brakes and engine oil change. Glad I found a great shop for my car! read more

I thought that check engine light would always be in my life on my dashboard I hated it so much but I got used to it overtime is always there until I met Manuel he got rid of that check engine light I could not believe it people would get rid of the light and it would come back always so after it was gone he said if it comes back you come back it came back he checked for the issue he fixed it he said this is the problem he always explains through and text you in great detail what he fixed along with your receipt witch I love because usually lose receipt. I left it never came back ever again but he told me if anything happens come back the light has never come back my bmw not only looks cute for a change it actually run cute too!! it's been a few months now and I'm just so extremely happy about the service work I got done there the price was wonderful the people was awesome I felt treated very fair I'm really grateful for him and his whole team they are the best I mean truly the best thank you! read more

Great Service. I called him for a battery replacement and battery registration for my bmw 328i. I cannot take my car to the shop because the battery is completely dead. He professionally handled my request and quote me a reasonable price. He told me he can come the next day but he called back telling me he can do it that same day. He came to my place an hour later. Very professional with their work uniform. Installed a genuine bmw battery with 3 years warranty on the parts. He register it and point out some issues I need to address and gave recommendations. From now on I will use this company for all of my car's required service. Highly Recommended! read more

Great service!!! I needed to get my battery replaced on my BMW. I called Manuel up one afternoon. He showed up the very next morning with a BMW factory battery that was even higher capacity than my existing battery. He was on time (even a little earlier). He texted when he left with an ETA. He was in constant communication with me via text and explained his process to me in detail. He hooked up his laptop to my car, checked all of the error codes (even texted me pictures of his computer screen), replaced my battery, and coded/registered the new battery. I called up numerous local independent BMW mechanics, and Manuel's price was significantly lower. Manuel has an actual shop located in Lawndale, so he is legit. He is very professional, and the mobile service is an extension of his physical shop location. He is not just some random dude who does this as a side gig. I highly recommend his services to anyone with a BMW. read more

My 2015 535i had a "drivetrain issue" and Manny had it fixed in under an hour. Manuel is a BMW genius! I took my car to two BMW dealerships and two BMW repair shops and no one could figure out what the issue was with my battery. Manuel (Manny) is Awesome. I got his number from a friend, and called him asking how much it would cost to replace all of my window regulators on my 540i E39. He gave me quote, and said hat he's mobile, so he was able to come to my house. Mind you he lives in Hawthorne, and i live in Atwater Village, that is a crazyyyy drive during the weekdays. Since it was a multiple window job, he brought a tech with him, i showed him the parts, and they started. They completed the job within an hour and even gave me a discount. One of the regulators wasn't OEM, and his tech says, "Want the truth about this part?" I say, "yeah." he says, "You got this from Ebay, i can tell. Honestly its a crappily made part, and will probably give you about 300-400 clicks (window clicks). Im sure you will call us back in a few months, and bring us an OEM part to install. Is that ok with you?" me: "Yeah man i know. BMW didnt have this part, but i need it fixed for now. Ill order the OEM part just in case this one craps out." and 400 clicks later... the part died. HE CALLED IT!!!!! So i call Manny, and he invites me to his service location to replace the crap part and put in the new OEM regulator (the IG picture i added on here). He fixed it, gave me all the tips and tricks on owning and maintaining these types of BMW's, and even gave me a discount. Manny is cool as hell. He's real with you. You just have to understand the car that you have, and how much maintenance costs. Makes me appreciate my vehicle more, and i know that i'll always have this guy to help me out for all my BMW needs. read more

This business uses residential parking as commercial parking and poses a burden to the families that rely on street parking in Inglewood and actually live in the neighborhood. At the corner of Maple and 94th, two JMC Auto employees wearing JMC jackets parked 10-12 BMWs in spaces residents use for street cleaning days for weeks. This included BMWs that they are just leaving parking on the street for sale. If you see men wearing "JMC Mobile BMW Service & Repair" jackets moving a high number of unfamiliar BMWs on street cleaning days, call your local Parking Enforcement agency to resolve it (310) 412-8731. It has gotten so bad that the Parking Enforcement agency is actually aware of it. read more
