For starters, it's cleaner. Much cleaner than it's predecessor. Labels have more English than before (#1) and dare I say the produce section has been beefed up slightly. The shopping experience has definitely been made easier, but that's not to say that the prices and selection are better. Nearby markets that are bigger still have the upper edge. The staff might be different in looks but the same with interaction, which is generally not helpful. Especially when the weekend crowds roll in, it might be easier to shout along with the employees in trying to find what you need. (#2) Thank goodness for the spaced out aisles and multi-language labeling, or this might actually be a reality. _______ (#1) Not that this neighborhood needs it. (#2) In Chinese. It feels a bit less noisy and chaotic, and the checkout lines tend to move fairly quickly. Pros: - Free parking lot, which is very convenient - variety of inventory, including fresh produce, seafood, and pantry staples - My cashier was friendly, and overall the staff I encountered were respectful - Many of the fresh items looked well-stocked and in good condition Cons: -The floors can sometimes be slippery or too wet, be careful with your steps - The aisles could be more spacious, especially when it gets busy

i honestly love this supermarket but unfortunately they have a rule that you have to spend minimum…read more30 dollars in order to use your otc card. it is important to know that minimum store purchase amounts only apply to credit cards not debit, otc is a prepaid debit card, in addition to that federal law only allows minimum purchase amount of up to 10 dollars, anything above that is illegal anywhere, you are violating federal law. visa and mastercard do not allow store minimum amounts for any of their debit cards, it goes against their network rules and merchant agreemants. i say this because they made my elderly mother spend 30 dollars to use it because she wasn't aware of these laws, she went back and told them. i went in to buy something with it and again was told 30 dollars minimum to which i said thats illegal and not for debit. it's clear the owner or boss is implementing these rules and may not want to change them, so please do so or this illegal activity will be reported.
