I called originally & spoke to a nice man who scheduled my appt, for June 23. A few days before the date, JM called, I sent pictures of my tub. I have owned my condo for over 20 years, I had no prior knowledge of if the bathtub was painted before that. They have an online special for $299., I was quoted $399. The tech was supposed to come at 1, he called at 1:40 asking me about parking. I have no parking in my building, do I need to tell you to park on the street? I gave him a cart to take his equipment into the building, I live on the 1st fl. He came in looked at the tub & then said he only had white paint when I requested off white. Anyway he called the office, they called me & said any other color is $25. more. Luis went to the truck & came back with three other colors? I didn't want to pay more, so I said just do the white. Then the office called, Sam? said his supervisor said the other color would be free but the stripping is an additional $99. My response was you didn't say that before when you saw the pictures. The tech guy was not so professional & called the company a few times to talk about the color & tub? This was not a good experience. I am a female, I had to take my two shower doors off, clear everything out, take the drain cover, etc. No apologies were made the tech took his equipment from outside my door & left?? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, JUST LOOKING FOR MORE $$ & TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A FEMALE. TEXT's below

I just moved into a new home and the refinished tubs started peeling within a month after I moved in. I searched online and there isn't too many companies focused on tub refinishing and thought I would give Wilmington Bathtub Reglazing a try. Turns out that after the initial contact all the contact details and my paperwork says JM Refinishing, which is a little misleading. Nevertheless, I explained that I was good with getting back my original colored tubs of blue and green, cleaned up, so I didn't have to deal with peeling paint. Was told that it was a 2 year warranty but could last 15 years with proper care. So I decided to proceed forward and the appointment was the next week. The technician came on time, was polite and we went over the work. I was surprised to learn that he was going paint not gloss it all white again. As long as it won't peel for many years I was okay with it. He completed two tubs in about 3.5 hours, went over my options to store stuff out of the tub in the future and how to care for the finish, and then I paid him; he didn't have the warranty with him. I was surprised to get an email invoice later that day with a different amount and no warranty so I called up the number and the owner called me back. He let me know that it seems to be an error and the accounting area would resolve it in the morning. The next day the invoice was corrected and marked paid in full and I received my copy of the warranty.

Had them glaze my tub and shower surround. They left the tape on the borders when they left. I pulled the tape off and it removed the glaze of our other surfaces. They said they always leave the tape on for the homeowner to remove. BS. Their just trying to avoid responsibility, like this was my fault. As for the galze, it started to show minor signs of cracking and chipping 6 months later. This was a rental unit. The tenant called me when it got worse. This was 60 days after the 1 year warranty expired. I texted a rep that day and he said send the pictures to the office knowing of the install date/warranty etc. so I had hope for repair. Hellen, Secretary at JM Refinishing LLC said warranty expired. That's it. I am totally dissatisfied with this product, this company and their service. DO NOT USE. Wish I could choose zero stars.

This company has clearly improved over the past several years. They are professional, responsive and thorough. I would recommend them now. I had my clawfoot tub reglazed by this company about 4 years ago. The tech at the time was a little sloppy. The job was adequate, but not perfect. About a year later, the glaze began to wear and chip. This became more pronounced with time. Luckily, I was given a 5-year warranty, which I was able to use today. The new tech, Pablo, was thorough, courteous and punctual. He did a wonderful job and the tub looks brand new. Stephanie in the office was also a pleasure to communicate with.

I've hired them to re-glaze my tubs for my rental unit. On their site they've advertised $299.00 servicing NJ area, I texted them to confirm the price they quoted me $349/per tub because of my location. Then finally gave me the $299 price and sent out an technical the NEXT day, however few days after the work was done, the paints were cracked, i texted them back immediately today and ask for someone to come back to repaint the area. The person on the other end of the text telling me that if the paint cracks again they will charge me $150/per tub for the repair, that was from $100 when they initially quoted me, they consistency trying the increase the price and using my location as an excuse to charge additional, I told the person its really not comforting to increase prices everything. The response i got from the business was beyond rude and unprofessional. The response from the business as if they are doing me a big favor for taking the job that I've paid $638.00 for. When asked for time and date the technician will be coming back, the person told me i have to wait until the next technician will be in my area which can take up 2-3 weeks. When they get a business, they fly the technician the next day, after they get paid its 2-3 weeks until a technician its in my area. Unbelievable. Should've checked their BBB rating before hiring them.

Very disappointed in this Fergusons. Everyone is polite but they're basically order-takers, and…read morethat we can do on our own. The problem is Fergusons has grown too big and forces customers to work through their website: Build.com. That website needs work. 1) It's fickle-- sometimes it recognized my email address, sometimes it didn't. 2) ordered pulls took three weeks to arrive; some never arrived at all. 3) returning is a rip-off: each knob comes with its own return fee: a $10 knob costs $7.95 to return. And they won't let you send them all back in the same box; each order is a $7.95 return fee. My salesperson never informed me of this. Reaching your salesperson by phone is a chore, as the phone answering company for the Cherry Hill Store is located in Lansdown, PA. Calls are rerouted-- your phone doesn't recognize the incoming call, etc. It was a time-consuming mess. Also, I tried to buy a $1,500 lighted medicine cabinet; it was more complicated than surgery. Questions had to go through the salesperson who contacts the rep, and then has to get back to me. Now factor in web issues and off-site call centers. And when you do finally connect, no solutions or alternative products are offered, and you've wasted a month. Finally, Ferguson's sends a "how did we do?" survey, but when I went to provide feedback, I got a window saying that my time to do so had expired. Absolutely infuriating. I've found another source for my 6-figure renovation--a streamlined, "family run" place that actually knows what customer service is.

In both occasions, multiple parts were missing from our diverter kits. This set us back time in our projects and caused un-needed frustration. Overall- do not recommend Ferguson

Stop right here. Look nowhere else. I have done the legwork for you!…read more In 2018 we had Steve and at least 5 other contractors come out to give us a quote on our kitchen remodel. After meeting Steve, there was an authenticity about him that none of the other contractors possessed. Every question that we asked him, he was up front, honest and listened intently to our wants and needs. After receiving many quotes, unfortunately then, we knew we had to save up before we could afford to have our kitchen done. Fast forward to the end of 2019 and we were ready to take the plunge! We knew that Steve was our guy. We gave him a call, he came back out several times to take measurements, design, etc. We had a start date of March 2020. Surprise... COVID! Everything was in limbo and we decided it was best to wait. Finally come August 3rd, 2020 Steve and his helper started demo work. Our final completion date was mid October. During construction time, I had two other friends getting their kitchens done as well. The horror stories they told me of their contractors being late, not being honest, charging more than what the contract stated, etc. had my husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot finding Steve. Many contractors now a days sub everything out and don't lift a finger. Not this guy! He is there every day, doing the work, and is passionate about his craft. He is meticulous and will not cut corners, leaving you a project that you are proud of. Steve is arguably the hardest working human my husband and I have ever met. When you hire Steve, you don't just get a contractor, you get a friend...that turns into family. My husband, my two children and I fell in love with Steve. He brought us joy daily during the two months he was with us and has become part of our extended family. We miss seeing him frequently, but now get to enjoy the work he did on our home daily. All of our friends and family that have walked into our home think we hired a high end contractor and designer for our project. We hired an expert handyman - the name says it all. Expert work at a fair price. Future customers, you can thank me later. ;)
