They ended up knocking out a door and part of 2 walls to fully install the perimeter waterproofing in our basement. They were supposed to come back to replace those 2 parts of wall, but never did. Fine, not gonna make a huge deal out of it but something to note. Less than 1 month after we paid off this Project, we had three separate incidents of water seeping into the basement. When we called to let them know they said they would have someone reach out to set up a time to visit - no one ever did and it's been 6 weeks. We had a few companies come in and give us quotes for the work to waterproof our basement. Steve was very passionate about his work and the team. After he took a walk through the basement he had a solution to implement but wanted to walk us through the problem and recommended solution. He shared his book of success stories clearly told us what he would be doing the equipment he would be using and let us see and feel the materials that he would be installing in the project. During the project took received all of my calls and answered all of my questions thoroughly. His solution was not the least or most expensive but we found that it was the best value for the money. Now that we have gone through the summer months with more than a few days of torrential rains the system that Steve and his team installed has been working great. It has saved me hours of draining and drying the basement floor and gallons of sweat since installation. I can certainly say our basement is now dry ... at last. Be careful with this guy, he's a salesman through and through. I had a reputable structural engineer come out to inspect my basement on my home I recently purchased. There were a few minor cracks on a couple of the walls but no water or drainage issues. The engineer, after doing a thorough assessment said that he was 99.9% sure this was all related to settling and to just reseal the cracks and keep an eye on them. He gave me a couple names of basement guys to come and seal the walls. Unfortunately one of them was Dry at Last. First off it was very hard to get a hold of someone and make an appointment. After I finally got a hold of someone at the office Steve (the owner) rescheduled/didn't show up for both of my appointments. When he finally came around he walked in my basement and after literally three seconds turned around and said the entire basement needed to be overhauled. He gave me an entirely too long sales pitch and after 90 minutes quoted me at least $15,000 for the job. I was obviously shocked by this so I reached out for another opinion of a friend who does foundation and masonry work. He assured me (after spending more than three seconds looking at it) that the engineer was correct and that the basement would be fine and that Steve was trying to make a buck off of me. I would highly recommend getting another opinion if you have this guy come out. I personally don't like being handled or taken for an idiot. read more

I was in a process of purchasing a duplex, but found an issue with the foundation. I had no clue why and how the foundation walls were cracking. Steve(owner) and Marcus(lead construction) were recommended to me by an engineering firm. I called them on Thursday and they came out to meet me at the premise on Saturday, these guys don't take days off. I was impressed with how knowledgeable they were as they explained why the walls were cracking and what they would do to fix the issue. They guaranteed the problem will never come back. They are passionate and knowledgeable about their craft. They were on time with starting the job and it only took them 3 days to finish it. I couldn't have been more impressed with the entire process. There isn't anyone I would trust with waterproofing or supporting foundation on my properties, unless it is "Dry At Last"!!! If you are on the fence and looking for a great company, look no more, Steve and Marcus from "Dry At Last" will take care of your water problems and have you sleeping like a baby!! read more

The owner Steve is very passionate about his work - he makes sure that the job is done right and will last for years, not just a band-aid approach that will only work temporarily. Our system has been done for a couple of weeks and we already can tell a difference - the musty smell is gone, our basement is now odor free and dry! Our experience with Dry At Last was excellent from start to finish - I would not say painless because it's a construction process and those are not cheap or clean. However Steve and his crew made it as painless as possible and we now feel confident that our basement is dry and structurally sound and will stay that way for years to come. Steve and his son Danny were both very responsive when we had questions or concerns throughout the process. All of the guys on the work crew were friendly and courteous. John on the rebuild crew was awesome! Steve was also very helpful in working with us to re-finish the basement. He understood that we couldn't afford to get everything brand new and helped us come up with a solution to re-use some of the old material and still make it a safe and comfortable living area for us and our kids. My husband and I hired this company to water-proof the basement and we are so happy that we did. We live in an older home and we had significant mustiness in the basement, occasional flooding and we were starting to see mold (eep!). We contacted three different companies for quotes and Dry-At-Last fell in the middle (price-wise). We decided to go with this company because the owner, Steve explained everything to us beginning to end and had extreme patience in explaining things to us (as we are first time homeowners). Also, he addressed our primary concern which was the foundation of our home. Although this wasn't the cheapest option we received more for our money in that this company installed the drain around the entire perimeter of the basement (whereas one company only wanted to do two walls for the price). The total job was the drain, three sump pumps, some mold removal, work around the outside of the home, and they drilled "weep holes" in the foundation to relieve the pressure on the walls and route the water to the drains. The guys that did the work were friendly, fast and efficient. They were respectful of our home and really easy to work with. Even after the job Steve followed up to make sure we were 100% satisfied. We are definitely satisfied and our basement is definitely dry (at last, haha). To be honest, I was shocked to see the company had a bad review... from someone in CA not NJ?? There is nothing bad to say about this company, they treated us like family, we already hired them again because we had a pipe burst in our bathroom. I called Steve at 8AM on a Sunday morning and he answered first ring and the issue is already resolved (at a shockingly low price much to our delight). They will have all of our business for any related projects as long as we live in this area! read more

Guaranteed the bill will be super high. Comes hour and half late after having to call him to see if he is still coming or not. Simply wanted sump pump replaced. Could have probably just bought one at home depot for 200$ and replaced it myself. Instead he only replaced part claiming it was put on upside down and thats why it didnt work. He literally was yelling at me when i tried telling him thats not possible. After not listening and part replaced, he claimed everything working. It wasnt. Ended up being that something was blocking the water from exiting the pipe. Got charged 1300$ to cut out a piece of 1" pvc and put a rubber coupling back on it. Was charged for a new sump pump even though int ended up not even being a malfunctioning sump pump. The owner steve rushes in jacks up issue and then his minions come after and do the actual work. Biggest asshole to deal with. Never again. read more
